  There is no option to save the video in mp4 format only. You can check on the MProot folder on your memory card for mp4 files. The. MTS files are normally saved in another folder called flow.

  If you do not see 'Tools', then you do not have your active 'Menu Bar'.

  Thank you for all the answers. Finally managed to get installed it. Download 4 times. Whenever he stopped at different percentages, so I expected the download is corrupt.   I have set up five accounts on my laptop: me (Administrator) and, as users, myself, my wife and our two daughters.

  Our girls have flown the nest, and both have their pads, tablets and all the other technical gadgets that people their age so I want to remove it from the laptop and then do a factory reset (which I will first research carefully)

  I would like to back up just their accounts to the (separate) sticks so they can decide what to keep and what to throw away.

  I searched high and low for how to do this, but without success. I then had brain waves back up whole PC and and then deleting those which I don't stick, but after reviewing my current backups, they do not seem to show all files in the usual sense.

  Quite honestly, the easiest would be to jump using any program to do and simply copy the files directly.

  Open the C:\Users folder, and you will see a folder for each person.  Copy and paste these folders to the separate USB that you need to copy all their files there and you're done, safe and simple.

  Yes, you can remove the $NtUninstallKB... file and all related $NtServicePackUninstall$ folders and files, if you wish. Those who are for the most part uninstall service packs and Windows Update files. You need these files if you can always restore or uninstall a Service Pack or update.

  If you are going to keep a given patch or update, uninstall files serve no additional purpose. Just delete them as you would any other file or folder. (Note: Windows correctly will prevent the deletion of the any of these files that are still needed for one reason or another.)

  Patches will always appear in Add XP or Remove applet of the control panel of the programs. To delete the entries, open the program, check the updates to see him at the top of the window, made scroll to select Windows XP - software updates, each of them at a time, then click on remove. (Or just leave them there in case you find you want to bring some of them).

  You will get an error message telling you that the file has already been deleted. Click Yes and proceed to the next.   I have transcribed for a documentary film clips. There are many of them and my transcribers using a program that can use the timecode of audio and video files.

  I'm new to Lightroom, even though I am a professional photographer for over 15 years. Currently, I use the software that came with my camera to process my RAW files, Professional Digital Canon's Pro for a 5 d Mark II.

  I've been evaluating the lasest version of Lightroom to consider buying it. So far, I like the capacity expanded to setting the image and improvements. However, in my current workflow, I need to be able to save the settings to be able to transfer the files to another computer. Is this possible with Lightroom? With Digital Pro, I can edit a RAW file and it will save the adjustments any computer, I opened the image file on. I have to be able to replicate this process in order to convey to our production department how I want an adjusted and cropped image.

  I downloaded the version track on two computers, then the images imported into Lightroom. Adjustments made, then copied the images to a flash drive. Images downloaded from the flash drive to my computer laptop, then re-imported the images in Lightroom and adjustments were not saved.

  After some research, my answer lies in the XMP file. Whenever I make changes to the image, I can save my settings by creating an XMP (CTRL S) file. He rewrote it in the original image folder so when I burn the file by hand to my production team, the xmp files parleyed my settings of the image. In turn, they can make adjustments and send them to me, if necessary. Just took some time to find the information, because even if I am kicking of tires on LR4, it was a video LR1 who gave me the information.

  I was running a double Finder folder.  I realize that in my Directory user (c:\users\myname) there are a few paths to the same folder, but referred to by different names.  One of them is C:\users\myname\AppData\Local\ the other folder is C; \users\myname\Local Settings.  Both of these 'files' link to the same files on the hard drive.  The double file Finder think that these files are duplicated because they seem to be in different folders, but they are in fact the same files singled twice.  The C:\users\myname\Local settings directory has a symbol that looks like a shortcut, but it does not behave as such.  There is no way to remove it without deleting the file in the other folder.

  Is a problem in the file system, or is it simply one of the oddities that I should just ignore?
