  We know how we know if an application is third-party or core. The Group of code module class: http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/5.0.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/CodeModuleGroup.html, there is really no such api for this information. I did some research on the internet as well and did not really find any useful information. I guess we could use information from the seller to filter out, but it could be source of errors.

  We need this information mainly for 2: reports of third-party applications to our backend, and implementation of the custom method of wiping.

  6.0 device os, it displays as a base application or third party, so it seems that this OS has this information. Not sure how we could use java api to do it well.

  GroupType as system seems a good indicator, if the application is preloaded on device or not including (Basic application of RIM) and enterprise application. We decided to check based on that.

  It is possible to what you describe.  An Android application can invoke a native BlackBerry 10 application.  You can even create a headless BlackBerry 10 app that runs in the background (similar to a service on Android).  So the action can be executed without the user see the GUI of the native application.

  Seems simple enough for me. I saw one can perform a search using the browser, but what's the point of that? With the help of two applications to perform a task. If I wanted to work on a formula for drinking water and I'd get an abacus. Ridiculous. If it is possible to search in the app how is it possible to find?

• Problems for download through App World - blackBerry Smartphones download stuck

  Hello. I searched the forums and do not see an answer to my particular problem so I hope someone can help out me. If there is already an answer to this question, please point me in the right direction. All the posts I've read mainly referred to apps stuck at "Starting download"... "and nothing on that I read the threads deadlock downloads already underway.

  Here's the problem:

  I tried to download AP Mobile the other day via App Workd (v. 1.1.0.24) and for some reason any download stagnates on 197 k 335 k and seems to be stuck here no matter what I try to do. I tried all the possible corrections that I have read in other posts, as do a battery pull, send me the link of the App World on my PC, etc, and nothing does. I tried to make a break and the resumption of a dozen times or more. I have more an option to download the app when I go to it via App World, through my camera. I tried to uninstall/reinstall App World. I don't know what else to do?

  Y at - it a magic trick hidden to cancel the download, or somehow out of it to restart?

  I was able to download/install any other applications without any problem. Even as this, we are still 'active '. Strange.

  Why App World gives users the possibility to cancel/restart in the first place?

  Does anyone have suggestions or options for me please?

  Hi, I do not use Appworld so I will be not specific, but please search again on this forum about the answers that talk about Appworld and clearing the cache of the AppWorld using Alt (sequence of the RST. That should erase the portion of Setup that you have already downloaded and let you start the installation from scratch.

  The 3rd generation Apple TV doesn't have access to the App Store and so can't install 3rd party applications.

  Apps can only be added by Apple.

  1st, I started having issues, try to connect to my voicemail with T - Mob. I called them, they had to re - setup my voicemail and (update of the settings for my Blackberry to connect properly saying this would happen over a period of 4 hours). They got my answering machine until tonight here. Later this week I get a notification there are applications that have are updates available, so I go to the app world. Things a then from bad to worse - apps I tried to update, new to download and try checking 'My World', I started having the (40760 out of line device) and another code error telling me to connect? >

  Do a battery pull and when the phone back up I get error message "completed Application: MPTT was denied permission to cross-application communication.'"

  My phone is an unlocked Tour 9630 from Verizon, and I have a monthly plan with TMobile, including the data packet.

  Lookiong after this error code (KB24874) it leads me to believe that there is some kind of conflict with the "push to talk" Service Verizon which is not supported by T-Mobile. This problem started when I called T-Mobile to the difficulty of voicemail and they have really no incentive to help me because I have an unlocked phone that they do not initially sell for me...

  It is a basic app and I can't remove it... Can I disable or restrict its permissions to stop this conflict? Is there anything I can do wireless or a parameter to change since I don't have a computer at home - only at work?

  YAY! I fixed it! I got tothinking on these permissions and I went back to them and reset them to "refuse" to "default" (who put them to 'allow') and attempted to access app world and it worked - everything worked!

  MPTT is the name of the libraries in the application 'push to talk' and I guess it still needs to set to 'allow' in same permissions if the app is not supported by TMobile.

  Thanks for the forums. Even if no one responded, have a place as it has helped me to analyze my own of all the posts that I have sought.

• Could not load the FaceBook Application for a 9000 "BOLD" of blackBerry Smartphones

  It's my third BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD", and the first time I had problems downloading the FB app. It says "Sorry, your device does not the requirements of systems that are needed to support FB." I tried referral service book and removing battery - who did nothing. My "BOLD" is v 4.6.303, platform 4.0.0.248, application memory 61.0 MB, memory 859,2 MB (823,6 MB free space).

  The latest version of facebook for BlackBerry is 2.0.  It was designed to run on phones with OS 5 or newer.  Your phone is running OS 4.6 which may not work properly with the latest version of facebook.

  What you need to do is a search for facebook 1.9, which will work properly on your phone.

  Hi all, I did not see anyone else post this ad then I thought that I have.  I got this news this morning of the daily update of ZDNet Tech so I clicked the link and downloaded the software from RIM.  I just downloaded an app free radio and the process was flawless (although I still have the old BONES official fatigue.75.)  I want to compare the radio app, IHeartRadio with my favorite Slacker and Moodio.  Here is the link I used to download the Blackberry App Store software.  www.blackberry.com/appworld/download .  I guess now I'll play on App World for the next time instead of working.  Now if Verizon would release the next official OS, I might find myself in Nirvana.

• Photo not valid error when launching an application

  Hello

  When launching an application through the web browser, I get this weird error.

  Starts the RDP session, the profile starts to connect, and as username and group political stuff ends, I get a little popup with the title 'Quest vWorkspace Shell' and "invalid image" message.  At the bottom of the screen is a pnshell.cmd minimized command prompt that is sitting there until I click OK in the popup mentioned previously.  Once I click OK, then the vWorkspace application will launch successfully.

  The pnshell.cmd has the following inside:

  REM added by RMC to prevent permissions app sprinkled with admins

  c:\Windows\syswow64\Ifmember administrators

  If not ErrorLevel 1 Goto SkipAdmins

  c:\Windows\SysWOW64\pnshell.exe

  I'm on vWorkspace v8.0

  The RDSH is 2008 R2

  Any ideas why I get this error?

  Hello Terry,

  Thanks for the reply.  We use Sophos, but I added the file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\pnshell.exe to the list anyway, restarted the TS, and it's always as problem.  I also added pnstart.exe to the list too.

  I noticed now that this happens only to a specific user.  Other users seem to be the problem... So... don't know why, but I hope it's a?  If you have any ideas why I would be eager to hear.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

  4 AppWorld must close.

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

• How to schedule a task to launch an application to start another application?

  I want to launch an application to start another app, but I ca't know how to configure Task Scheduler.

  For relaxation, I put on an event on the Source I retrieve the name of the application in the menu drop down and let Event_ID field blank. On the Action tab, I place the path and the app name triggered, as usual and complete the remaining sections as usual, but it does not work. It is not raised when I starts the main application.

• Three questions.  The heart rate monitor now plays nice with the third-party applications?  Can you run these third-party applications, without the link to your phone?  How much storage?

  My experience with the original watch is that the heartbeat was working fine with apps in the House but does not work well with third-party applications.  Aboriginal health applications were sub par at best.  In addition, he wouldn't these third party apps (Strava), unless you were related to your phone.  A new doesn't do me much good if it is always the case.  Finally, it's great that you can bind your helmet now but what storage is the watch have?  I am not unrealistic, its understandable if its not much, but I hope that it is enough that a few apps and music enough to pass through a 4 hour tour.

  2. you can run applications 3rd party without the phone with you, but for your type of application, you'll want a series 2 with GPS watch. The likes of Runkeeper OK working in the older shows, but without GPS, they do not really work you need. New - 3rd third party apps will need updates to work with the GPS watch. OS3 software has been available to developers for a while now, so I expect software updates only very quickly. I don't know if or when 3rd parties had access to the equipment and GPS devices, s, then it may be some while before they have series 2 updates.

  3. you can store 2 GB of music. How much music that is depends of course format and quality, but certainly several hours.
