Is it possible to level/add a graphic of a laptop Pavilion dv7-7000 card?

I did a lot of research lately, for the most part unsuccessfully, on whether or not my HP Pavilion dv7-7025dx laptop computer can have a GPU dedicated, added to this, as it has currently only the graphics card Intel integrated HD 4000 Mobile.

Especially since I met the unfortunate agreement that most laptops can have their updated graphics cards / toggled because the graphics card is soldered on the motherboard. However, after speaking to a representative HP 'support', they said they thought it was possible to add a graphics card, as long as it is compatible with the motherboard HM77 45W UMA was my computer.

In addition, after finding the maitenence and repair online for my computer ( http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03221579.pdf ) it is said that he could have come with switchable graphics, specifically the Nvidia Geforce 630 M or 650 M.

So I was wondering, is it really possible to add a dedicated graphics, either by the presence of switchable graphics or something else? Or am I stuck with Intel HD integrated graphics card?

If I can put to level/add a new card, where would I be able to find/buy a compatible, and that I would be able to install it myself or do I have to go to a local computer repair?

My laptop is HP Pavilion dv7-7025dx Entertainment Notebook.

It has a processor Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz, 8 GB memory, 750 GB hard drive (5400 RPM).

I am currently running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit).

Hello

You cannot add a dedicated system like that graphics card. The vga is soldered to the card so no way you can just plug it in as on a desktop computer. However, you can buy a new motherboard with the graphics card dedicated to this topic. It also requires a new sink.

Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03221579.pdf

You need a Board of 682040-001 more 682061-001 heatsink for a dedicated laptop graphics card. Take a look on ebay for the part numbers.

  • Add internal bluetooth adapter for HP Pavilion dv7-4285dx?

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion dv7-4285dx and I was wondering if it would be possible to make my laptop bluetooth capable and if yes, what cards are compatible? I was able to add maps to other laptops (mainly Dell) and during the surching for a repair guide and my one dismantle, so maybe one of these it may be, I found some empty connectors. The guides I found was not clear about a module for my model. I was also trying to find the model of increased mine which would map already in it, but no luck. Any one out there able to help out me? I want to continue to use my mouse bluetooth and headset.

It is one of the guides that I thought would help but on 87, he talks about model dv7-40XX using the 537921-001. I'm looking on the wrong page? When I tried to talk to HP they kept giving me the run around and wouldn't even tell me if it was possible to add bluetooth to it.

Don't worry about this. Take a look at page 1 and the "Product Description". Dv7-4000 is said by Dv7-4299. This is why it says on page 87 Dv7-40XX because it was intended for all the notebook Dv7-4XXX mentioned in the Product Description. I guess that all laptops Intel in the series use the same motherboard, so the required location for the bluetooth module should be there...

This is correct information and Crucial is a great brand of memory. Crucial memory is guaranteed compatible memory when you use their memory finder. Take advantage of the 16 GB.

  • Is it possible to put a faster processor in an HP Pavilion DV7?

The HP Pavilion DV7 3067 CL has the 2.4 GHz processor Turion II Ultra M600, and I was wondering if it is possible to put the 2.7 GHz Turion II Ultra M660 in its place? Both processors have a TDP of 35 watts for electricity and heat shouldn't be a problem. Anyone know if this is possible and if so, how? Because the DV7 3067 CL in question came out in September 09, it should be possible.

Well, they the socket, same TDP S1G3, only difference is that the M660 has higher multiplier, so my guess would be that you can exchange them but do not take 100% (more like 99% )

  • HP Pavilion 500-326na: graphics upgrade on HP Pavilion 500-326na card

Last year, I bought a HP Pavilion 500-326na, and recently, I decided that I would update the graphics card. The card that I'm looking is the nVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti. This would be consistent with (and in the form of) my computer? In addition, I'm not sure exactly how I had to upgrade my power supply, if necessary, and if you can direct me to a decent choice.

    Thank you very much.

    SJ642, welcome to the forum.

According to the Specifications of the product , the computer has an external power supply 180W (PSU).  If this is the case, you won't be able to level the video card.  The 750ti requires a power supply of at least 300 w; Some reported that 400W is needed to make it work properly.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5615uk: upgrade I can add a graphics card to an HP Pavilion Slimline s5615uk-m

Can I add a graphics card? If Yes, which?

    @DavidMW You are welcome.

Please do not hessitate to ask questions.  This is the reason why I'm here.

Most of the games are today video very intensive.  This is why your computer begins to lag when the game gets busy.  A video card would be a good thing, but will be much easier to install more memory.  This is the memory that is recommended by Crucial memory.  The max memory is 4 GB, however.  You would be better served if you decide to upgrade the memory to buy 2 x 2 GB memory new and remove the old.  Another way to increase performance of the system is to add an SSD.  Take a look at the recommended by Crucial SSD.  They make great products for OEM computers.  My HP laptop game boots Omen is less than 7 seconds and increases the speed of loading games with the 256 GB SSD.

I have to be honest with you.  The Slimline models simply are not meant for the game; even

  • Is satellite A10 - possible to install the new graphics card?

    Hello

I have a videocard Satelite A10, 2.2 Ghz, 712 MB of RAM, provided with your computer.

I just bought the Sims 2 and thought from the specifications that I would be able to play on my current card. However when I try to run it it gets to the intro screen and then hangs when it is ready to go into the Menu. My first impressions are that I don't have a pretty good graphics card.

I need a 32 MB T & L capable card so can someone confirm if this is why it would not work on the system.

If that's the case I'm looking to see if it is possible to install a new graphics card on the machine I want to play more games to date.

the map I'm looking at is Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256 MB AGP8X graphics card. It will work on the machine and it is likely to solve my problem?

    Thank you

    HI Jeff,

In General, it is not possible to change the graphics card in your laptop. This is because the graphics cell are generally not a component separated (as with a normal PC), but generally a specific graphic chip attached to the motherboard so make the graphics a part of the laptop.

At the same time, the graphics driver is normally a specially modified version will omit some of the more esoteric aspects of the normal driver to minimize the risk of overheating chip since it does not have its own cooling system. Given this, you will find probably than trying to load the latest graphic website manufacturers drivers (Nvidia, ATI, etc.) will not work, and you will therefore be limited to these pilots provided by Toshiba on their Web site.

In order to get your copy of the SIMS 2 to run you need to omit or reduce some of the graphics settings in the game itself, or alternatively, you can try to use some of the graphics third-party drivers that are written to provide some of the omitted features of the original notebook drivers. Note that if you do that there is no guarantee that they won't cause your overheating graphics chip, even if I used the ATI Omega drivers for some time now without any problems. You can get them: -.

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6052er. I need to have the Nvidia GeForce graphics card, because she CUDA technology which is strongly increases the performance of an application called Blender, which is important to me (AMD Radeon doesn't support and will not be).

Is it possible to buy this card separately and mount it in my notebook instead of Radeon? I discovered this couple of newer of dv7 Pavilion dv7-7150er have Nvidia cards. Thank you.

    Hello:

In order to change the graphics card the motherboard must be replaced.

Since there is no motherboards with nvidia graphics for your model series, make what you want are not possible.

Sell or trade your laptop for one of the newer models of dv7 with nVidia graphics.
