Is it possible to move documents and settings to a new hhd folder as you can do with the folder my documents?

I have a 12g and a 180g hhd. my 12g holds my bones and im running out of room on that. was wondering if I could move the documents and record setting as well as all the files into it without having to copy my operating system on a partition on my disk with greater capacity.

There is a way, but it is risky and unsupported by Microsoft.  If you try it, make sure you have a good backup of your system and know how to restore a system that won't start plu with it.
