  I think I've solved your mystery.

  If you open the document in Microsoft Word, click the file tab and look at the Info section, you notice attributes (properties) are assigned to the document itself. One of the properties is named "Title". And as you can see in the image below, this field currently contains the word "comprehensive".

  It seems that if this field is completed, RoboHelp who interpreted as what you want to the title. I don't see it in my test, because when I created a new empty document, this field simply contains: Add a title.

  To change it, click on the field and type what you want to see.

  Change in all files in a folder specific to say the first element. There may be two files in the same folder that Windows does not allow that. My guess is that the duplicates are in different folders and change the folder will help you find the original and the duplicate.

  Also open both the list of topics. Should be the red squares in it? If Yes, you have sort of a release in the source.

  View the topic list does not show the properties of the tag Content to build all the subjects that have.

  I checked the properties of some of the subjects and that they actually have a label of selected construction, but this tag does not appear in the column of the tag Content to build in the display of the list of topics.

  I don't exactly know when it changed, but I recently upgraded from RH8 to RH9.  Could have been then.

  It seems that the tags work for my generated layout.

  Only one other common point seems to be they are all topics not in a table of contents (TOC = no), but there could be others.  Is it normal?

  I think that we compare the spider to hedgehogs here. Build labels can be applied to content within a subject. (Words, paragraphs, characters, Images, etc.) and they contained level tags.   Is there an easy way to export the list of topics? I tried to select all and copy/paste, but without success. I want just a simple list in Excel - and I want the list with the name of the file (xxx.htm), not the text that I get when I generate a table of contents.

  Yes it is possible, use the export list file.app of Mac App Store.

  But after exporting to Excel, you must manually change the titles of books.

  First create a destination folder in the Finder, iBooks or something like that.

  Advance adjustment:

  

  Then click choose a folder in the window of export of the list of files updated.

  Go to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks/Books and click Select.

  

  

  Then save in Excel.

  

  Record in the destination folder.

  

  The Excel file opens immediately.

  Before you try to run it, go to tools > Macro > Security and make sure that your macro security is set to medium or low.  If it is set to high or very high, change the setting, close and reopen Word, and then double-click the file AutoCorrect.dot that you extracted the downloaded zip file.  When you click on the button 'Save', a new Word document that contains your AutoCorrect list is created.
