Is it possible to return a .exe of a VI?

I have this problem, I need to recover the VI that I did, but the only file I have now is the .exe, lost my program in Labview, is - it possible? ASP.

Was it a debuggable executable?  If so, you can see the block diagram.  If this isn't the case, I have bad news for you.

  • Once you install a new printer firmware for your printer, is it possible to return to the earlier version of the firmware of the printer in case an error occurs?

Once you install a new printer firmware for your printer, is it possible to return to the earlier version of the firmware of the printer in case an error occurs?

It may be an option, as long as the error prevents you to connect to the machine. Even so, some firmware update software will not allow a downgrade. This is something that you should go to the manufacturer of the printer for more information.

  • Is it possible to transform a .exe in a .vi again?

I'm responsible for trying to make a .exe file (published on LabVIEW) selfpopulate an Excel file with the data, he gets from the trial. To do this, I would need to take a look at the block diagram to see what happens in the devil; However, it's an .exe file and we do not have source code?

Is it possible to get around this other than re-engineering the entire VI?

    Thanks in advance.

No, sorry! You need the source code to be able to view/reconstruction of the VI.

(While I'm not 100% sure, you might be able to see the block diagram if debugging is enabled on the executable when it was built and then sign in using "operation-> Application Debug or Shared Library... »)

When I try with different points, I can answer "no hava no changes, is not possible to go back."
    How to solve this?
    see you soon, thanks Swingpjatten

    Swingpjatten,
Welcome to the Forum of answers.  I would like to know if you are running antivirus software.  Sometimes, some programs may interfere with the system restore process.  If you have you can turn it off and then try to restore the system.  You can also try to create a restore point while the VA is running and see if she is able to finish.

  • Is it possible to return when he is on the left side of the screen so that the Start button is on the bottom instead of the top of the taskbar.

original title: I wonder if it is possible to reverse the when it is on the left side of the screen so that the Start button is on the bottom instead of the top of the taskbar.

I have a laptop wide screen so I move the taskbar to the left for more vertical space. I was wondering if there is a way to return so that the Start button is on the bottom and all the small icons of notification are on top?

    Hi Sparty11,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

Unfortunately you can not return the taskbar to display the start menu to the basic button. It's normal. If you move to the left or right, in both cases the start menu button appears on the top left or top right of the task bar.

You can share your suggestions on tracking site.

  • Is it really possible to return signatures IPS of CSM

    Hi people,

I tried to return IPS signatures that I deployed through policies of the Signature of the CSM to the old version, but it doesn't seem to work. Against this Cisco CSM guide says:

If you decide that you don't want to apply an update of the signature, you can return to the

last update by selecting the political level Signatures on the device, by clicking on the view

Update level button, then click on restore

I can't imagine that it is possible that the signatures are normally compiled into xml files. How the sensor would he?

    Eugene

When installing a copy of the files that will be replaced or updated during the installation is copied to a backup directory.

The CLI has a "downgrade" command that can uninstall the update and backup copies will be used to replace the removed files.

    A few things to know:

    (1) old configuration will be copied back. If the changes made since the update may be lost.

    (2) this only works for Signature and engine updates. Service Packs, minor updates and major updates replace the full operating system, so there is too much data to make backup copies.

    (3) this only works for the update installed. Once you have decommissioned the more recent, you cannot downgrade the earlier.

    (4) this can be done through CLI and now also available in MSC.

Here are some things to check for in your situation where it seems to not work.

Log on to the sensor and run 'display the worm '.

History in the output of 'see the worm' shows a package of Signature Update as the last installed update?

If it is then either an another downgrade was already completed, or Major Update, minor update, or Service Pack has been installed the last packet and cannot be downgraded.

If it cannot be done through CSM you could try the CLI' "downgrade" command and see if it works through the CLI or if the CLI gives you an error and the explanation.

  • Is it possible to return to the top of a stack?

Im trying to create a cable or the project style magazine. How do you make sure that you go back to the top of a stack, rather then where you left the battery. At the moment if I go to halfway in a stack (vertical sliding), then switch to a new battery (slide hozizontal), then go back to the back stack (horizontal sliding), he puts me back to halfway to the bottom of the battery, I want to make sure that it is towards the top of the battery, is - it possible?

The current behavior is that you return to where you left it. If you want to reset the publication, you can triple, type the title in the navigation bar.

  • Is it possible to call a .exe (non-LabVIEW, such as Notepad) in a child windown on the front panel?

I would like to launch a stand-alone .exe inside the front of my VI.  It is a piece of software by the provider of a sensor that I try to incorporate in my VI.  I was able to find how to call the .exe using the .NET constructor and invoke nodes.  However, the application opens in its own window.  Is there a way to run from a child window within the façade (ideally, within a tab on the front panel control)?

    I'm in LabVIEW 8.6.

    Thank you.

I don't think that it actually works. My understanding is limited about this feature, but since I read it only works with the pop-up windows and windows that are already children. The application's main window is not a child window.

I've done it before.  I have attached a simple example using Notepad.  Make sure that the notebook is already open no open files.  Since the example is not the position of the child window, the position relative to the window will be the same, because it is off the desk.  So, make sure the upper left corner of the Notepad is close to the origin of the desktop computer.

  • 64-bit browser too good? Y at - there no possibility of returning to a 32-bit browser?

We recently bought a new Dell laptop. It is running MS Vista with a 64-bit version of Internet Explorer. Our problem: is - this too good? It seems that every photo or video, we try to watch online is not available, because all software is compatible with a 32-bit browser. Can we change our 64-bit to 32-bit browser or can we download a 32-bit browser for Vista or should we expect everyone else to catch up? Any help would be appreciated.

    MTHobbs,

Thanks for posting your question in the Forum of answers. The 32-bit, Internet Explorer must be the browser by default by default, unless you specifically open the "Internet Explorer (64-bit)". Just to make sure to open it from the executable. Please follow the steps bellow to open Internet Explorer 32-bit.

    1. click on 'start '.
    2. click on "computer".
    3. open "C:" (C = system drive)
    4. open "Program Files (x 86)".
    5. open "Internet Explorer."
    6. open "iexplore.exe".
    The path is: "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Internet.

Try to open the browser in this way and see if you still have problems. If you're still having problems, it could be that you are missing the Add-ons.

    Thank you.
