Is it possible to run a diagnostic on my monitor?

I have Windows 10

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

Acer AL2216W monitor

I've been back with symptoms whether if it's the card or the monitor.  I ran a diagnostic on my video card and it seems fine.

It's a race to the bottom of symptomsm of today, which is quite common these days when I wake the AOS computer.

  • Monitor shows the amber light
  • Press the wake up on computer
  • computer, no sounds stange
  • monitor still orange
  • Press on board... still orange
  • Move the mouse... still orange
  • 2 x orange light going off/on power
  • 1 x green flashing power button
  • then nothing
  • then gren, Acer flashes on the screen, 'no signal' light then orange
  • so I walk for a while... sometimes it turns on after a long time, like 15-20 minutes
  • an hour later still orange, press the monitor turned off/turned on power button
  • green light flashes power, screen flashes Acer, 'no signal' and the then orange light
  • Try the power button a little while (sometimes it worked)
  • Restart the computer, as it worked sometimes (even if I do not do this without a good stop / restart)
  • so now it's on for the day

NOTE... .once the monitor is on, it stays on without any problem. ONLY twice in more than a month he did the flash of the screen in and out a couple times while I was using it.  More ever since.

We don't have a diagnosis that will really help in this situation.

Honestly, I think the monitor first here. The video card will be usually do other things as artifact or overheat and crash before this type of failure. Is it possible to get a screen from a friend or a family member just to test? Or, take your monitor to a friends PC and ask him to try it.

    Hello world

Is it possible to run DiagOnCan without using Diag command set auto - only with the NI-CAN driver (hardware I use is low tolerant speed - USB8472 and NOR-XNET)?

    G. Petko

no problem to do with your hardware and NI-CAN frame API.

However, you must implement the Diag and Services Transport layer on your own, which is quite a big job.

I recommend you spend the money for automotive diagnostic command set that supports

    • NI CAN (PXI, PCI, PCMCIA, USB)

    • NOR-XNET

    • cRIO/985 x target (Pharlap and VxWorks) #.

which means that if you plan to transfer your application in the future to different hardware target or the real-time target, that you don't need to change your app at all.

    Hello

is it possible to run Windows 7 on my Tecra S1 PT831E 126PQ?

I've updated the BIOS (last?) version 2.50 (it should be suitable also for Windows 7). With this done BIOS is fully compliant with ACPI?

    Hello

Of course, you can install Windows 7 on your good old classic.
But the fact is that there is no official driver Win 7 on the page of the European driver Toshiba, it seems that you have to collect the pilots in his own hand.

But in general this should not be a problem of submission.
WLAN, LAN drivers can be downloaded from the pages of chip manufacturer driver touchpad can be used in other models of computers, laptops and Toshiba as VAP (value added package) Flash cards tools or similar

I was able to get this to work. My 8570w has an Amd over-pants 7700, don't know if that matters. One is connected VGA other Displayport. The port monitor must have a custom resolution defined in the over-pants Control Panel. except that it works perfectly. More laptop screen no. Docking Station 2 24 inch Dell.

  • There is a possibility to run Labview projects or to set them off from a batch file or if the exist and the ability to control labview or run it from an external application?

Hi, I m a bit new in LabVIEW and I'd like to ask a few questions...

-There is a possibility to run Labview projects or to set them off from a batch file or if the exist and the ability to control labview or run it from an external application?

-One API PI or raspberry beaglebone exists for LabVIEW?

-Power supply Wich can recommend you control with LabVIEW? (some chip solution witn 0 - 30v / 0 - 3A DC)

Thank you very much for your advice!

    Best regards

    Elena

    Elena,

I know raspberry, so no comment on that.

    For the rest:

-Do you want to create tools for developers? If so, we must look in the API of project VI and VI server. If this isn't the case, please compile your application LV as executable and call this one using a batch file.

-LV prefer specific supplies. LV is a programming language. There are several power supply providers (including OR) which provide directly the LV API for their power supplies. So, essentially, the approach is:

    1. choose food that serves your needs.

    2. check if the power supply has a standard interface for programming (such as Ethernet, GPIB, or if the power supply is PXI, is already providing a programming interface!)

    3. check if the LV API (so-called "instrument driver") is available for the device. In the case of a PXI system, get you a device driver (for example NI DCPower).

    4. check if the LV samples are available (for example in the Finder for example LV once you have installed the driver).

  • Is it possible to run an executable on a Windows Phone 8 Labview?

If I create an executable of Labview, it will be possible to run it on a Windows 8 phone?

No, as Mike has already said.

The reason is that an executable of LabVIEW contains a binary code that is compiled for the x 86 architecture CPU, and access to the Win32 API. Windows Phone general works on the ARM or RISC processors and provided only a subset of Win32 very limited in the past. With the new Windows RT technology that he actually moved even further the Win32 compatibility as it is all architecture is based on .net technology.

So even if you happen to get a processor Intel Atom based device Windows Phone that would be compatible x 86 it couldn't work, because a LabVIEW executable is an executable format portable Win32 is not a picture of .net bytecode.

  • Is it possible to run a 3rd monitor in my Pavilion dv8t

Is it possible to run a 3rd monitor in my Pavilion dv8t

    Hey gogydog,

You can have a maximum of 3 displays with this unit (depending on your configuration): a connected to HDMI, a connected VGA and LCD integrated Notepad. So, 2 external and 1 integrated display. It is not possible to connect 3 external displays, unless you use a third party (such as Matrox DualHead) material, however the quality/compatibility is not guaranteed.

  • is it possible to run both systems, such as windows xp & windows 8 on a pc

is it possible to run both systems, such as windows xp and windows 8 on a pc at the same time

    Hi Susan,.

Actually run two at the same time?  N ° having two installed so that you can choose which you want to run?  Yes (as long as your computer can accommodate two operating systems and has appropriate and such pilots and you will understand the compatibility requirements and other rules for software application).

How to do this depends on which two average you and your hardware (you could partition the disk to dual-boot, use readers separate for dual boot or create a similar to a dual-boot configuration, if the two you choose cannot work together in a normal dual-boot or use a Virtual Machine installed on an operating system to install and run the other OS and so on).  Certain combinations will be much easier than others.

So the answer is it is theoretically possible to have two (or three or more) installed, but not running at the same time - but I guess it could be argued that a Virtual Machine means in fact the two BONES are technically running - but that's just the way it seems to me since you can use only one at a time) , but may not work in your specific situation depending on your computer hardware and bios, the software you use, which specifies the operating systems you want to be able to access separately and so on.  To do this, we need information much more to offer help.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Is it possible to run the restore of the system from a command prompt?

    Plug;

Dell Studio 540 Quad core 3, 2 GHz (don't remember exactly?) processor

    Ram 8BG

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

    In general, everything was working fine until I ran the auto update for Vista. I don't know exactly which updates made it crash (that's the downside to update automatic, I guess?), but what happens is;

PC powers up correctly, and everything seems to be in order up to and including the connection procedures. Once connected, the first error message pops up saying: "Windows Explorer" is not working properly and has restart. This will make a loop again and again, and as long as the error is running, I'm not able to perform all actions either. The only thing I am able to do, is to run the Task Manager, but if I try to run applications, programs or processes there, the Task Manager itself is in need of a reboot. So, basically, the only action I can perform the Task Manager is turn off the PC safely.

    Helps out;

Ran memory diagnostics, no error found.

I ran system restore, not detected no results. (....) According to me, if I could run Vista system restore as soon as Windows Explorer is stable, I can choose a restore point prior to the restoration defined point in chest upward and it will solve the problem.

I ran the repair of the system, but the PC does not recognize a problem, according to the definition, the start sequence works as it should.

I ran the security modes to see if I can access previous system restore points, but like windows explore does that no action can be taken. It's the safe mode; Base drivers and base with network connection drivers.

I ran the command line safe mode, that works very well, but don't really know what I can do from there.

    I have the option to reinstall the OS, but I hope a response must be made of this? My thought is;

Is it possible to run the restore of the system from a command prompt? And if so, where is the path, finally, what should I do?

    This starts the system restore
    %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe

  • Is it possible to run the command script with user account administrator rights?

Is it possible to run the command script with administrator user account rights means please tell me how to...

I need to run it in windows 7 professional service pack 1.

There are a few myths that won't go away, for example

    • You can perform administrative tasks when you are working from a command prompt.
    • A script (batch file, VBScript, PowerShell) gives you administrative rights.

There is no substance to a myth. Your account has administrator privileges, or it does not. There is no backdoor.

  • It is possible to run Easy Transfer after upgrading to Win7 AND AFTER installs all applications?

Update of XP (32 bit) for Win 7 (64-bit).  Transfer easy on the old system and also saved.  Performed a clean install of Windows 7 without any problem.

The instructions say to upgrade Win7, then run to transfer, and THEN install the apps.  Well, I have not read the instructions and correctly installed Win7, installed applications and now need to execute the transfer.

That is problem?  It is even possible to run easy transfer now?  Should I reinstall all applications again?

(I'm not worried for the part 32-bit to 64-bit, I just included this info with full disclosure).

    Thank you
    brand

Thanks for the post brand.  the transfer is intended to capture data and the status of the user.  He didn't have much to do with the migration of the applications with the exception of the view that it is able to create a report that identifies what applications may need to be installed on the new machine.  in order to integrate the data of the machine inherited from the windows machine 7, we should have run the version of Windows 7 easy transfer on the Windows XP machine before recharging.

If we capture the data of the XP machine before reloading, then we can re-read the data at any time - even after that applications are installed

Here's hoping that you captured user data and the State with easy transfer before you wipe and reload.
