  • audio clip WAV plays is not in Final Cut Pro (unless in the timeline)

I have a few audio dialog recorded externally on syncing with my videos. It is in format wav 24-bit / 48 kHz. The problem is the audio clips will not play participate in event viewer so that I can revisit. To be more precise, when I hit the space bar the cursor moves along the clip, audio level indicators move up and down as if it is being read, but I have no audio output. However, if I drop the audio clip in the timeline panel, press space - it plays perfectly!

    Clues of what happens anyone?

    Thank you.

Try to convert the audio 16 bit @48 kHz .aiff.

The audio as it is, very probably turned in the Timeline to conform to the parameters of the project on the fly.

If the respondent jumps the gun and sent a response and click on "anywhere" to continue, the next slide audio begins and the two routes run concurrently. Is there a way to either cut the audio before moving on to the next slide, or prevent the next slide in trigger until the end of the audio sequence and the chosen response. I'm new here, so there might be some basic rules very that I am not following.

I never use audio on question slides.  I find the text-based questions work better because people can read faster that they can listen to.  So you avoid the problems that you are experiencing now.

If you must have audio for the issue, offer it as an optional thing that the user can get by the passage of the mouse on another object of reversal.  In this way, they will have to keep their mouse on this object to listening to all of the audio issue.  As soon as they move their mouse being to answer the question the audio will stop, then when the legend of feedback appears, they will hear the sound signal.  This makes very little probable that you would have two audio tracks playing at the same time.

  • PRE8 - How can I use audio clip to another clip?

Is it possible to use audio clip for replacement/substitution of audio on another clip of first Elements 8?

Of course. Actually, there are a number of ways to do this in Timeline mode.

The simplest is to right click each clip on your timeline and choose Unlink Audio and video. You can then move, edit or even delete the part of this clip audio and video separately.

    Hello
I have an audio clip that plays, and I want the clip for the stop and the other to play when the user clicks a button. The button launches a popup window which is a movieclip (pop_mc. Click on the exit_btn in the pop_mc and audio for this popup stops. This should be simple enough? Thanks for any help! Here's what I have so far:

  • Is it possible to add audio keyframes to a source clip in the source monitor?

Hello, is it possible to add audio keyframes to a source clip in the source monitor? (Not the chronology)

I would like to dive and pre selectively switch off at the source-clip in the trash.

Bonus round... are waveforms audio visual available somewhere in the source monitor Panel?

Perhaps with a thread of keyframe-able?

    Thank you very much

You can not key frames in the source monitor Panel (the Master Clip function applies not to the audio only).

For the waveform to appear: fiddle the cursor or the playhead in the SM. (this is a bug).

  • Synchronization of a live video with audio digital SLR and a separate audio track

Hi, I have a problem with live video that I try to sync with a separate audio track. I have several clips that I want to include in the video, so I don't want to sync the audio frame video and separate framework, but I want to know the best possible way, please, I can sync the audio separated? So far I used markers of the waveforms to find the synchronization point, but so far it is not synchronization.

    I hope someone can help?

    Thank you

    Joe.

Adjust the audio clip left or right of the track until it syncs to the top.  In the context menu for the sequence, you can display Audio Units, if you need less than a precision of image.

  • How layering audio clip interview on other video clips?

Help! I have some interview clips and want to ask over the audio from one of the interviews on different music videos. For example, I see the video and audio of the interview and then cut to a clip or a scene showing what is talking about the guy but still have the interviewees audio playing as a voice on the fastener of the flayed. How can I do?

    Welcome to the forum.

Is this Audio Multiplex (combined in a Clip w / both Audio & video), or is it only separate Audio file, which has been imported into your project?

If the latter, just drag an Instance of it to an Audio track free and position, as is required. Note: each Instance of an item can have different in and out Poiints, you are not limited to them being the same.

In the first case, the multiplex, there are two ways to do it, but possibly the easiest is to Alt-click on the Audio portion of the Clip (temporarily separates the Audio & video), and Ctrl + C (copy), then move the CTI (current time indicator/reading head) at the end of the timeline and then press Ctrl + V (paste), for as many Instances of the Audio that you need. Then, drag them to a blank Audio track, all holding the key Ctrl pressed for an Edit to insert, rather than a ripple edit, in order not to touch anything on this track, below the desired video Clip. If you replace the Audio.

Another way to do that is to use a Ripper Audio audio editing software, save as a WAV/PCM @ file 16-bit 48 kHz, and then import them into the project, for use in many cases.

Good luck and hope that helps.

  • Recovery of the clips audio clip made up?

I know that I can combine audio clips in a compound clip - tell all my sound effects.  So I know I can "expand" the audio components - to make adjustments.  Or also open the clip in her own scenario - where all the separate elements are revealed.

I was wondering if there is a way to take a step back... and recover the original blank audio tracks (rubbers)?  Right where they were originally.  Without having to retrieve the clips separated from the browser or Finder (original case) and Resync them?

I was wondering.  I'm about to embark on embedding large groups of clips in compounds to finish a mix on a 90 minute film.  Want the option to save if I get something wrong.

    All ears,

    Ben

YYou can divide the clip made up, but the sound cannot sit in exactly where it was before.

    Just got a LifeCam Cinema.

Installed the drivers-software, plugged the cam, noticed drivers installed.
Tested by opening the installed LifeCam software. Describes the options to take photo, audio or video. "Or the other option does appear immediately the error" LifeCam could not save your, photo, audio clip or video clip.

Shows Device Manager is installed correctly.
Swapping the same USB ports it shows in the software, no device detected, a driver is re-installed during the exchange of the ports, it comes up with the 3 options mentioned before and again the same error message.

Have also tried Google chat and shows no video, but gives the possibility to do video chats.

    System: Windows 7 64-bit.
I have full admin rights on the system...

    Christophe ideas?

    Hello Striff,

If the camera is not detected, it seems to me that the drivers are not installed for the device works, I suggest you reinstall the Lifecam drivers and check if you have the same problem.

I suggest that you try different methods listed in the following article to resolve this problem:

  • Add cut Center dissolve at the beginning or at the end of the Audio Clip

Long time user of Avid Media compose and Final Cut Pro, but I'm now in first and get a smooth transition. That said, I'm looking for a simple way to add a cutting Center (or customize) dissolve the beginning or end of an audio clip when there is not another clip next to him on the track. Most of the discussion that I found in my research has to do with handles, and I understand the need for the head and tail on a clip to add a transition.

This talk is a clip that has a lot of media, on both sides, but if he is alone on the track (no clip shot at it), it doesn't seem to be a way to add a Center Cup dissolve, or anything other than a "start to cut' or 'end to cut' transition period. It also seems that you can not change the alignment of such dissolution in the effect control window.

I know it is possible to achieve the same effect by adding the passage and then by dragging the clip in or out point accordingly using a trim tool, but it's an extra step that seems unnecessary.

Where is unclear, here is a screenshot of the type of clips that I refer:

    Screen Shot 2016-08-12 at 10.18.37 AM.png

Here's how I've solved the problem, but I wonder why it is not possible to simply add the kind of dissolve I want to if there is enough grip to support:

I am looking for a simple way to add a Center cut dissolution to the beginning or end of an audio clip when there is not another clip next to him on the track.

You can not.  By definition, the Center to Cut requires two clips.  There is nothing to 'focus' on with a clip.

Premiere Pro has the ability to extend the ends of a clip when you add a transition.  You will need to provide that when you place your In/Out points, or extend the clip manually after you add the transition.

  • How to replace the audio clip with each other instead of stack

I'm editing a long track of narration in Audition, and I have to paste a small audio clip on narrative in several places.  I want the pasted clip to replace this part of the narrative, as it would in first.  What he does in hearing is battery clips, so if I choose narration for some reason, all the clips on the top of the narration are now moved behind her.  To get back them, I now spend the narration to an empty track clip, do the same with those who went behind and everything put back in the correct order.

Is it possible to have the clip pasted to replace what you paste it above as it would in first?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Phillip

With the help of hearing CC 2015.1 build 8.1.0.162

No, unfortunately, if you work in multitrack view. An easy insertion function was requested to do exactly what you want but is not yet available.

The simplest solution is to split the clip to where you want to insert the new plug. You can do this either by using the Razor tool or the shortcut Ctrl-K. Then when you place the new clip on top it will show melted shackled at both ends. If you select one of the parts of the original item, you can click on the edge and drag it to the appropriate end of the new clip (leaving a chained if you wish or not fade).

  • Audio waveform disappears from the Source monitor after opening another audio clip

I use Premiere Pro CC 2015 on an iMac (late 2014) of new 27-inch Retina 5 k with 8 GB of RAM.

I've got 5 takes of the same voice that I'm editing into a simple video "How-to" recorded at the screen. I'm pass between the clamps and picking at the take, that I prefer and move it into the timeline.

Problem is, once I open an audio file and then pass away from him to another audio file in the monitor Source Panel, the waveforms on this clip will not appear when I open it in the Source monitor. See waveforms is a unique case, unless I restart Premiere Pro. I can still hear everything and I still see the playhead moving across a green screen, but the waveforms are gone. It works fine the first time I open the clip.

I waited about 10-15 minutes to see if it's just to take a second to reload the waveforms, but none of the clips appear in their new waveforms unless I restart the first. I tried to open a video and then come back to an audio clip. I have actually managed to do come back simply by moving the source monitor Panel in its own window separate from the table of mixing, effects, etc. but it happened again the next time I went to another audio clip and no amount of monitor source is fluttering it don't come back.

Is there something that I am missing? I can still change course by listening to each piece of the voice-over begins, but without seeing it, it's a real pain.

I think that this has been fixed with the latest update. No more problems!

  • Volume keyframing of problems on a reverse audio clip

I'm running on one more question that is really frustrating. I am not able of the two 1 reverse/reprogram an audio clip and 2 keyframe or change its size. I can do one or the other, but not both... when I do it, the audio is not just through my speakers. This has happened on several systems and projects on many computers Mac different with different configurations and GPU.

It is interesting, I found other people noticing the same problem (changes of time and conflicting keyframes) completely new to CS4: http://forums.CreativeCOW.NET/thread/3/897605

I asked this question here before, nothing helps. I doubt I'll get a solution here. But I wonder now, should I register it as a "bug" or a "feature request"?

It seems that it SHOULD work, since the first I can keyframe the volume, and the audio player reflects the decibel that must play. It is not just play through the speakers. I can reverse and keyframe of the opacity of a clip without any problem. Makes me think it is a bug and not a "missing feature".

While I must reverse the clip, exporting AIFF, re - import and add keyframes, which is such a waste of time. So many hours of wasted time...

    Thank you!

You can also drop the clip in a separate order and reverse the trend

Then, drag this sequence as a nest in your main sequence and the keyframe.
