Is it possible to share files of DPS folio with people WITHOUT ID icloud?

Basically, we are trying to create interactive documents for a client to play on the ipad (so why we use not only the interactive pdfs) and it seems that the best way to create these brochures animation uses DPS files.

HOWEVER, as I test what I can for an awareness that the customer would need an icloud ID to connect and view the document. That's pretty much out of the question given the number of people will want to consult the separate file on ipads (probably close to 400). Is there a way to get around this? Or in any event that the folio can be viewed with another application?

Transferred to DPS forum.

The answer is no. That said, you can use the same ID for all 400 iPads. There is no current to the limit, but I suspect that if this practice becomes widespread too, this can change.

  • Waterproofing of the DPS folios with the customer

Can you recommend a smoother way of proofing folios DPS with my client, other that pulling all overlays and showing them separately on another work and provision for supplement of PDF?

The easiest way would be if create you an Adobe account and share the folio with it so that your customers can view in Adobe Content Viewer.

Then, just of their give credentials on behalf of Adobe and they can log on to their devices.

  • Is it Possible to share a HARD disk drive (with a KNOWN password) protected between ThinkPads?

    Greetings,

I spilled a drink sweet in my X 200, fence it beyond all repair.  The X 200 hard drive has ONLY one disk HARD password bios I created and you know.  To try to recover my files from hard drive of the X 200, I removed the disk and inserted into my T60.  When I turned on the T60, I got the usual HARD disk password prompt.  However, when I entered the password (all tiny, no special characters or non-English speaking, and which I know is quite OK), I had the symbol of the incorrect password.  I turned off the machine and repeat this process.  After the second attempt, I saw the password prompt with a closed hand.

Later, I followed a procedure recommended by Lenovo to clear the password (do not think that I am allowed to post a link): enter the password followed by a space.  That did not work.

I wonder if HARD drive pasword protected drive of the X 200 is somehow related to this particular machine and can not, as I had always supposed, be exchanged in another machine and accessible by entering the correct password.

I also wonder if I can have permanantly me locked out the reader by making too many attempts "invalid."

(Edited to add additional information and to make the more descriptive subject that it was originally).

    LongtimeTPOwner, welcome to the forum,

Sorry to hear about your situation remove the password must be possible in another X 200 or even another ThinkPad at the same time system for example, T400, T500,... etc.

A consideration that you would like to take a look is the password parameter in the menu BIOS password; If it is set differently on the T60 of how this has been put on the X 200 it could present problems according to the password used, especially if it's "special characters".

  • extremely interesting and urgent - possible difference in appearance of the LUN with and without clichés unexposed to the initiator

    Hello

I decided to build this case in my testlab, it seems very interesting to me. Someone here in the Group of any idea what could be or already heard of such a case?

    http://forums.Veeam.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15746

Background / idea: no accessor LUN should never see even the slightest difference between a lun as such and the same lun with snapshots not exposed. This must be absolutely and completely transparent to all - host, the initiator and the engine of the cbt. The only exception would be tools or plugins that take specifically the use of deeply integrated san-snapshot features.

    Best regards
    Joerg

Question, you use VSM to take the initial snapshot?    If so, the same thing happens if you create a snapshot in Workgroup Manager instead?

You can use the VMware shared folders feature that allows access to files on Mac since the guest operating system, you need to install VMware Tools in the prompt, or you can go in both directions using the built-in standard SMB/CIFS sharing of files on each OS.  It's your choice.  Assuming that it was determined that network connectivity between the host and the guest needed for the method later then the rest is not not a VMware Fusion questions and the help files for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows Help Files cover how to implement sharing of files on each OS.

  • Share work with people who do not have Adobe Creative Suite reflow?

I see a question which was published two years ago, but I was wondering if it was possible now to share my comp to reflow with someone who does not have the software. I tried to find a way to export a PDF, the HTML but does not export correctly. Someone knows a way to share my work of reflow with people who do not have Adobe Creative Suite

Reflow is basically an HTML document, so if the HTML for export does not work, it doesn't look like it is set up right?

  • Cannot share files on Windows 7 Home Basic Edition

I use the version of windows 7 Home Basic and I am aware that it is impossible to create a homegroup, but can join one... I wanted to share files over the local network. What is the way to do it. I've seen many threads explaining how to share files on homegroup, but I need that really... I want it for HOME BASIC... HOPE would help me as soon as possible!

    Original title: Mr. OMKAR

    Hello Omkar,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

Do you have Windows 7 Home Basic installed on all the computers connected to the LAN?

Basically, as you rightly mentioned, "Windows 7 Home Basic can join only but cannot create a homegroup." He needs a higher edition of Windows 7 Home Premium, Ultimate or professional to create a homegroup, and then Windows 7 Home Basic Edition can participate. Then, I suggest you try file sharing help Sharing wizard as shown below.

    1. Open Windows Explorer on your taskbar.
    2. In the new window, click organize , and then click folder and search options.
    3. Click the view tab.
    4. The option use the wizard sharing (recommended)check box.
    5. Click OK.

Now, follow the steps below to open the shared folder Wizard.

    • Press Windows key + R to open the run box.
    • Type shrpubw.exe and press ENTER.
    • Click Next on the home page.
    • You can also name (or rename) your PC. You should probably leave your computer
name as it is, because this change here could cause conflicts with your computer
name as defined by the system. You will need to set up the folder to share
by clicking on the Browse button.
    • Click Next.
    • Name your share, and then click Next (you can also click change to change offline settings).
    • Follow the instructions on the screen to configure and customize the permissions and click Finish.
    • Click Finish to complete the installation.

You should now have a folder shared, ready to access your other users.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • List of DPS features with HTML file?

    Hello

I'm mocking a website with InDesign, and I indicated interactivity using DPS (buttons, scrolls, WHO, etc.). I wonder if there is a way I can export a HTML file that will display all the features? If this isn't the case, HTML, there's an another file format that I could save, which is not a .folio for this? I want to be able to send a file to people who don't have any InDesign or Adobe Content Viewer.

Not at once. If you want to get a glimpse of this content with someone they need to install Adobe Content Viewer and then you can share the folio with them for review.

  • This is possible in InDesign CS5.5 using Folio Builder (DPS).

    Hi DPS Experts,

I am new to this DPS workflow.

I use InDesign CS5.5. I have the question? It is possible to create applications for the web link mentioned below.

    http://www.Spanish-real-estate.co.UK/

The site is Joomla and the www.spanish-real-estate.co.uk field

The app will be free, so I don't know if it will have to approve apple store.

If it is possible please help or guide how to begin the process how downloaded files of DPS and check the video and audio and everthing as in the website to be shipped in the iPad applications.

Please give the path to achieve this goal.

    THX,

    csm_phil

You will have to re-design of the Web site and make it interactive and adapted to the screen of the tablet. Use the HTML format to import it into the Workflow of DPS. Don't forget Apple has strict approval policies so it can reject the app is implement you this as a simple website without using interactive components. It is best if you redesign for Tablet during the implementation using DPS.

  • Using Sansung S3, not yet possible to share all the tabs opened (using NFC) with another phone NFC. But only the a main tab, I'm currently browsing is possible.

Sansung S3 using, Android 4.1.2 Firefox 24.0; not yet possible to share all the tabs opened (using NFC) with another phone NFC. But only the a main tab, I'm currently browsing is possible to share. It is the function of current NFC function of Firefox?
If so, when will it feature to share all the tabs?
    Thank you.

I don't know if we implement this. Sharing of all the tabs you have open have many security and privacy issues. Someone forget that they had a tab open, they didn't want to share or miss-clicks on the sharing of all the option.

We are looking for ways to better share tabs with devices that are located nearby. Especially if they are on the same WiFi network.
