Is it safe to use the Sony Mavica older NP-FM50 battery in my camera Sony A-58?

I have two NP-FM50 battery from a Sony Mavica disc camera; is it safe to use in my Sony A-58?

The SLT - A58 is supplied NP-FM500H and NP-FM50 are two batteries of type M and reconciliation should not be a problem. However, the NP-FM500H has a Groove which allows of the recent DSLRs / SLTs. This Groove is not present in the NP-FM50, thus making this incompatible battery with your camera.

Here are the images of the NP-FM500H and the NP-FM50 showing the throat that I mentioned.

    Hello

    Troubleshoot camera connection
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Troubleshoot-camera-connection-problems

    You probably need to recharge the device drivers and camera control software (usually included
    with the drivers and installed at the same time).

    Login as an administrator.

    Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
    on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
    is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

    Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
    software (if not more recent get the same).

    Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

    Manually look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

    Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
    to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

    Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers who are often older than the
    those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot and then HIDE it and watch manually to see if their
    really is a more recent version (at the time system manufacturer and the sites of the manufacturer of the device).

  • Is it safe to use the same GUID to validate a global event?

    Hey everybody,

    I write a global event of a library project that I set up in my main application. Everything works fine. However, I'm wondering whether or not it is a good idea to always use the same GUID, or if I should generate a new to each one time? If I generate a new one every time, I don't know how I can have the control of the main application to see what GUID to search, as it would be generated in the library project...

    manager.postGlobalEvent(pid, 0xCAFEBABE, 0, 0, null, null);

    public void eventOccurred(long guid, int arg1, int arg2, Object arg3,
                Object arg4) {
            if (guid == 0xCAFEBABE) {
                authorize();
            }

        }

    Thank you!

    I think that if the events then report the amount of the fine to use the same GUID with different arguments.

    For example:

    public class Events {
        final public static int EVENT_AUTHORIZE = 1;
        final public static int EVENT_OTHER = 2;
    }

    manager.postGlobalEvent(pid, 0xCAFEBABE, Events.EVENT_AUTHORIZE, 0, null, null);

    public void eventOccurred(long guid, int event_type, int arg2, Object arg3,         Object arg4) {        if (guid == 0xCAFEBABE) {                    switch(event_type) {                     case Events.EVENT_AUTHORIZE:            authorize();                        break;                    case Events.EVENT_OTHER:                        doSomethingElse();                        break;                    }     }

       }

  • Is it safe to use the Alienware 15 "closed on the side?

    I am considering getting portable stand containing a laptop computer closed on the side.  Is this desirable? Will this affect the cooling of the laptop at all? I intend using its closure when I use the graphics amplifier.  This will allow me to put my two laptops side by side, taking up less desk space.

    As long as you get m2 disk or an SSD, you should be fine.

  • Z50-70: it is safe to run the AC adapter / CC with no battery?

    As the thread title says, is this safe that run the laptop of the electric network powered AC adapter without the battery installed?

    I rarely need to run on battery alone, and keep the battery at 100% load is not good for her, so I prefer to take the battery but I am afraid that it may have a role in the stabilization of the power supply. I note that the output voltage of the adapter is 20V, i.e. > 5V above the battery voltage.

  • Is it safe to use the slightly more powerful charger?

    Hello!

    I recently bought an FM transmitter for my car and on its side it has a USB port for loading, which is rated at 5V, 2.1 has. Since the carger I got in the box with the phone is 5V, 0.55 A, I would like to know, if the phone to such a current loading would damage the battery? In other words if it is safe or should I avoid it?

    Thank you.

    No problem. Phone won't take what he can use.

    Secure erase is not necessary if you use FileVault to encrypt the drive. In addition, do not use any fix erase secure on an SSD.

  • Can I load MDR100ABN listener using the charger that comes with mobile phones

    Can I load MDR100ABN earpiece with charger that comes with mobile or camera DSC-HX90V

    Hello, ss2016!

    It is recommended to use only the USB cable provided with the product itself. But if it is a Sony USB cable, then it should be all right. I load all my Sony products with different cables Sony too (as long as the load cables shown in the port of loading of the product), and there is no problem. They all work very well. No problem whatsoever. I never use another cable other than a charge cable Sony with my Sony products. If the is a charger for Sony, there should be no problem using it as a charging cable. Make sure that it fits into the port of loading of the headphones. The DSC-HX90V is also a Sony product, so it shouldn't be a problem using the Sony camera cable to charge your Sony headphones. In other words, make sure you only use cables from Sony to charge Sony products. (But we must ensure that the cable Sony fits into the Sony product)

  • some computers cannot acquire images using the PCI-1410

    I have a big problem in the acquisition of the images using the PCI-1410.

    It was a standard camera (SONY XC-ES). The test of the device is OK with my computer.

    I can not get a correct image via MAX. Also, I try to use the file of the camera for that camera.

    But it did not work properly.

    I consulted it toward the Korea of NEITHER and they discover THAT PCI-1410 worked properly with different computers.

    So, I try to change PC. Most of my computers cannot acquire the image even if the unit is OK of MAX.

    However, only a few computer works properly. (Work computers are from SAMSUNG. The other

    computers that did not work propely, were assembled in the lab.) (I have tested almost 6 computers for this purpose.)

    The problem is that there are at least 3-4 PCI ports for our applications. The work computer (SAMSUN) only has 2 ports PCI.

    What should I do to select the right computers? I can't buy dozens of computers to test the PCI-1410.

    Why is this kind of problem occurs?

    Thanks in advance for your advice. (Email: [email protected])

    Hello

    We also had a lot of problems in the past with different PCs and the problem came from the motherboard. Since that time, we only use motherboards with intel because we know that labview works very well with them.

    It was 2 or 3 years ago, and I thought that the problem has been resolved since then... you know the type of motherboards you use?

    Hello

    I read a few articles about it and it will work. However, you need to keep an eye on overheating. When it's too hot, I'd rather swich back to the old adapter or a replacement with the same characteristics. EBay is full of them, and some of them are even of real Chargers HP.
