  I searched around and I may have missed, but I have a specific problem that just started today (01/04/2014).  I have 3 PCs in a local home network and they all have been sharing things very well so far.  PC1 is my computer main storage support (Windows 7), another is a laptop (Windows 7) and a third is a laptop (Windows 8.1).

  On the Windows 7 laptop, when I open Windows Explorer and navigate my way to a file I want to open (which is stored on PC1) and double-click the file to open it FOR just open using the right program (PowerPoint2007) I fully installed on Win 7 laptop.  Also note that "Microsoft Office (2010)" came Pseudo-aleatoire loaded on the laptop, but I put the default value for all of the PPT and PPTX files to be opened with PowerPoint2007.  I've had a few hiccups in the past where this version not desired, non-fully-loaded trying to help me open files with PowerPoint2007, but right now all files are set to open with PowerPoint2007.

  So I'm not online, I don't use IE, and this is only the case with the PPT and PPTX files and only on my laptop Win 7.  DOC/DOCX and XLS/XLSX files open fine with the 2007 version of Word and Excel respectively.  All files, including files, PPT and PPTX on PC1 are operable without problem on the laptop of Win8 with PowerPoint2007.

• Why not Photoshop create new files or open after a while 'old'?

  So I've had this problem for about a month now and is really infuriating.

  I installed the trial version CS6 Master suit, and after a little more, I would like to notice that after some time of using photoshop, would not:

  • Open old files
  • Create new
  • Would slow down and begin to break the feet if I had a file open when the 'event '.
  • It would be impossible to record.

  After a google search, I found a lot of suggestions, such as the default printer is a network printer that was not connected or that the suggestions were corrupt. None of them worked. I did a clean reinstall of windows, but this did not fix my problem. Now, I think I remember that there was a problem I had as many years ago, and it's a windows update that screwed up Photoshop, one of the K9XXXXXX these updates. Other than that, I have no leads other than the fact that it is a hardware based or somehow the problem persists after reinstallation of windows.

  I tried to support, but of course they require that you bought to get any help. So all I have is this forum. Help, please.

  Open photoshop when it is buggy and press Ctrl + Break (Break) (it's usually next to the print screen).

  If all goes well a fix will stop this bug directly to the outside, now that a solution has been found.

  I used the trial of VM for a bit, ran 10.8 Mac on my machine 10.9. I used CleanApp to remove the VMware application and everything that it has combined the files/folders. Wondering if this technique also removes the Mac OS that has been installed on a virtual computer and removes the virtual volume? I think I lost a lot of free space on my SSD.

  I found this post of disk space missing after uninstalling VMware Fusion 6 and the suggested disk inventory X installed. The app found the Mac OS folder that contains the file 21 GB + virtual Disk.vmdk and the rest. (I totally forgot this file and location when I installed everything first.) Trashed the entire folder and appear to regain space lost to SSD, but I think that there are even more is lost.

  I've recently moved from an old Mac Pro (2008) a new (end of 2013). Both are running El Capitan (OSX 10.11.2) and the latest version of the mail (9.2). My old machine was old enough, so I skipped using Migration Assistant and performed a clean installation.

  I'm a graphic designer and, in the past, I always saved my emails into folders for each customer. When I finished work, I export it as a .mbox and check it in case I need to reference it later. If I need it later, I use "file > import mailboxes," select "import data since: Apple Mail," find the archived .mbox file and select it.   Many people like to have a timestamp in their file name.  What makes it unique and gives information on the time of creation of the file.  Here's some code that will create a new file with timestamp name every hour on the hour.  It checks every second to see if the part of the minutes of the time string is '00 '.  If so, it then creates a file name.  The date string sole custody from day to day.

  

  Oops. Just noticed a flaw.  The code creates a new file name every second as long as the record is 00.  Changing the value of within one minute (60000) should solve the problem.
