  Although I like to have new products, if I can handle a few more years with the defined current, why not.

  Currently I have dreamweaver studio 8, I want to eventually move to cs3 / cs4.

  My question is, and I have searched for it, how are expiration dates set for upgrades of version to another?

  Where to find info on how and what?

  Can I become a notification if there is almost no upgradable etc.

  Anyone has any advice? I don't want to end up buying the full version so that I could pay a price for upgrade...

  To install CS4, then MX2004 is the oldest version of upgrade at the moment, but this does not necessarily mean that you will be able to upgrade to CS5 (or whatever it's called), form Studio 8. Upgrade policy is determined by Adobe and in my experience 2-3 version older that the current is the industry standard.

  I normally let him for a maximum of 2 versions between upgrades.

  For info on Adobes political upgrade current go the Adobe store - choose the product that you want - select "upgrade eligibility.

  I have one of my sites in Contribute just to learn how to use the Setup program, and then remove the connecton.
  Now in Dreamweaver (he thinks I put / pull on - I do not have) is confusing and time consuming to FTP files to my sites. What can I do to reset Dreamweaver as it was before the Contribute connection?

  find a folder for the _mm named public root level
  which contains a file named contribute.xml

  Delete the file. That will remove the contribute connection key.

• Dreamweaver-contribute connection problem

  I have a site I built for a client using Dreamweaver. Subsequently, we bought a copy of Contribute to manage his site. It has a few pages of his site where he apparently cannot change the font settings. Recently, I received my licensed copy of Contribute and went in the menu edit site in an attempt to manage its settings. I can connect to the site very well with Dreamweaver. When I try the button "Creation of Site Administration to in contribute of...» ", I get an error message saying,"Contribute cannot find the specified folder. "What he's talking about? Where can I fix this error?

  I found the problem. I tried to use Dreamweaver to access Contribute to set permissions without prior site links in Contribute. Once I did, I can see everything fine.

  Now I have something to Contribute, but which will be posted on the Contribute site. Thank you!

  Currently using Dreamweaver, you can specify a remote FTP connection and Dreamweaver will automatically download the new file on the change. I apologize if this seems obvious to absoluely, but how to replicate that in Builder?

  CF Builder currently supports the synchronization of files on remote FTP sites by click right/folder of the project in the Navigator view and select Synchronize-> create a new synchronization connection. Once you create a connection, you can synchronize the project/folder using the same context menu.

  However CF Builder synchronizes automatically files from FTP sites.

  First of all, you can be assured that now Adobe has no intention to quit muse and it's here to stay

  Now then, you can export your site created in Muse in his code HTML, CSS and JS form by using the file option-> export to HTML

  Now this version exported your muse site can be opened in any code editing software like Dreamweaver etc and you can make changes to your site.

  Contribute 6.5 is the current version and Adobe sells only current versions.

  Unfortunately, contribute CS3 is too old to be eligible for an upgrade. Only CS4 and most recent are eligible.
