  I have a little a problem of performance on 12 c that gives me a little trouble at the head. I moved from 11 to 12 databases and no amendment of the application have been made. Our requests are generated somewhat dynamically, so that they are the same thing every time.

  OK, now let's go through the problem:

  1. It's a development running on a virtual server, and which hosts a few other databases, so the parallel execution is not a good thing. parallel_degree_policy is set to MANUAL, parallel_max_servers and all other parallel_ limits are set to 1 and tables have been changed with the settings of NOPARALLEL. So why is the execution plan always generated with all stages of parallel execution? I don't seem to get rid of in 12 c
  2. Next mystery is that the said plan of the explain command is an adaptation plan, and yet I put the true optimizer_adaptive_reproting_only
  3. Now to the problem of effective enforcement, so I'm playing around with all these settings. The query runs for 3-4 seconds, returning around about 500 cases. However, in some cases this same query with the same input variable races for hours and if I can believe the AWR and ASH reports, read a good 180 GB of data. The main wait event is direct path read temp temp and writing.

  
  

  This is not isolated to that one query. I have a few queries now that all display the same behavior, one of them running overnight. I don't seem to get to a standard nested loop execution plans.

  
  

  The entire base is a database plug-in and I don't know I just missed something in the new features Guide.

  If you want to disable parallel execution, you must set parallel_max_servers to zero.  Maybe the optimizer thinks he can use a parallel plan because parallel_max_servers is non-zero (even though the number of slaves available means that it will be serialized to a parallel plan).

  Note that you have a ticket saying dynamic stats have been used.  Maybe you have a 11 for optimizer_dynamic_sampling setting, and allowing Oracle to be very inventive with collection of samples and parallelism.

  You have also 2 SQL instructions in game. These are the things that get associated with objects rather than the instructions, then perhaps someone has been playing with parallelism and managed to associate the parallelism with one of the tables in your query (I am not sure 100% that it is possible, just throw a suggestion).  Take a look at the SQL used for education guidelines.

  To give us a little more information, you can:

  Shoot memory execution plan dbms_xplan.display_cursor ({sql_id}, {number of children}, 'ALL'));

  We show all the parallel settings (see setting the parallel)

  Pull on the parameters of the optimizer for query memory (select name, value of V$ sql_optimizer_env where sql_id = {your sql identifier} and child_number = {your child number})

• Difference of cardinality estimate on explain plan and implementation plan

  I think some of you know the 5% rule, which is explained in the note on metalink # 68992.1.
  In short, this means that (with bind peeking out voltage)

  - c1 > :b1 : 5% of selectivity
  - c1 >= :b1 :5% of selectivity
  - c1 between :b1 and :b2 : 0.25% of selectivity (5% * 5%)

  It is also well explained fundamentals of the CBO by Jonathan Lewis.
  
  But I found a few odd cases where the 5% rule is broken DURATION estimate.
  The most interesting part is explain plan watch again the 5% rule.
  Why the difference?
  
  I think that with bind peeking out, explain the plan and the implementation plan should show the same things.
  (Assuming that all values of the environment are identical)
  Am I wrong?
  
  It's the long story to tell, but simple test cases will show what I mean.

  the 5% rule seems to be
  -applied to explain the plan always
  -applied at the level of enforcement only when density 5 < %. When the density > 5%, he uses the density not 5%

  Sorry to take some time to get back on this one.

  I can reproduce your results in 10.2.0.1, but the anomaly is not present in 9.2.0.8 and 10.2.0.3 and 11.1.0.6.
  As Charles, the calculation has a boundary condition when a num_diistinct falls below 20
  (i.e. when a value is more than 5% of the total data set - average).

  However, the fact that explain the plan and the run time you give estimates of different cardinality is a bug.
  Everything they say, they should say the same thing at least that the introduction of the variable binding
  introduced a possible type conversion or the NLS conversion feature that has changed the
  calculation of the expected cardinality. In this case there is no reason why the use of links should be
  cause confusion - so we can reasonably assume that it is a bug.

  I'm trying to implement consistency using coherence 3.6.1.0 dotnet.having version installed.trying to run the sample application dotnet with the addition of coherence.dll as one of the references. But I get a msg of error as

  The consistency-java - b 411 .zip v3.4.2 is a very very old version of coherence. From your previous post, I see that you are using version 3.6.1.0 consistency .net client. You should at least try and download the zip file from Java to address 3.6 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/coherence/downloads/coherence-archive-165749.html here or if you are not concerned, on which version you have and download the latest 3.7.1 versions of coherence .net and Java here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/coherence/downloads/index.html

  In the C:\Program Files\Oracle\Coherence pour.NET\examples\ContactCache.Java directory is a file called start-cache - server.cmd which will start the process of single server. Before you run this you must...

• Set the COHERENCE_HOME environment variable to the directory where you unzipped the zip file of coherence Java for. FOR EXAMPLE if you have unzipped the file into a directory called c:\dev , then there will be a directory under that called coherence so set COHERENCE_HOME = c:\dev\coherence

• You must also set the JAVA_HOME on your PC environment variable to the location that you installed Java - usually something like C:\Program Files\Java\jdk... ... For example, if you had 1.6.0 - 25 Java installed on your PC, then you would set JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_25

  I understand that your iPhone seems to be auto populate your access code when you try to unlock it. I also see that you have made a lot of great troubleshooting. It seems that the problem has disappeared when you set up your iPhone as a new device, but returns when you restore from a backup.

  This information was told that there may be a problem with the software on your iPhone. The next step in this situation I recommend is to reinstall the iOS. This will install a new copy of iOS on your device and should not remove, change or modify any of the content on the device.

  Before you reinstall, it is always advisable to make sure that you have a current backup of your iPhone in iTunes or iCloud.

  Hi, so since I have my iPhone 4 in 2011, iPhone 5 in 2012, mini iPad 2 in 2014 and the iPhone 6 in 2015 I downloaded and installed more than 600 applications. Some are free, but many paid.

  When I go to iTunes, connected and go "My Apps" I asked to show those who are and those who are not on my devices, and this is the only list about 20 or less apps!

  For example, there are all sorts of types of applications that I have installed on my iPhone and iPad which are always topical in the app store, apps and games but the app store does NOT show them in my purchases.

  How to clear is that both my alerts and the store?

  (I found earlier but nothing since 2012 messages, and I want to be sure that it is always topical).

  I did find 2 previous conversations and want to ensure that this solution is still topical.

  App Store displays the available updates, but no applications update

• HP ENVY notebook - d000-13D-CT: new computer. Wireless connectivity works however, this computer cannot connect to the internet.

  When I click on the wireless icon - it shows me the connection within the home. I connect and it says it is the network configuration required, but then it crashes. I try again later and it does not find the connection at all.  Other devices in the House are connected, so I know that the real wireless works.

  I called HP Tech Support, they tell me it's a matter of Internet provider, I call AT & T and they say it's a problem of HP. I call HP Technical Support and they always say it is a problem of ATT and I have to tell them to configure the settings. I call ATT and they cannot diagnose and insist that it is a problem of HP.  I'm not at a loss.

  I hope to find a solution, it seems that networking with HP wireless seems to be ongoing question. Thanks in advance for your help.

  It is possible, depending on when your new computer was actually produced and implemented for Windows 10, that the Intel Wireless LAN Driver should be updated - or at least reinstalled.

  Also listed in the section of the conductors: update of the BIOS.  Note that the BIOS updates are an inherent risk; It is strongly recommended that only update you your BIOS when necessary (ie., to correct a problem) and only after that you have completely backed up system - which includes all critical files be available either on the cloud or backed up to an external drive where you can access it.

  It's a big problem for me because I can't is Windows Vista and I install XP properly on my machine.

  Satellite A200-10W belongs to the PSAEC series and it was delivered with a
  nVidia Geforce GO 7300 256 MB of RAM (name of code G72MV NV)
  I recommend you simply looking on the net for details of the graphics card. Should the nVidia page; provide most of the information.

• No wired connection on WRT54GC

  I have a router WRT54GC.  I have no wired connection of the device.  It was working fine and then just stopped.  I noticed that when I unplug the router and let sit for awhile and then try again the connection is there for a few minutes.  A few minutes at least gives me a chance to connect to the router.  All suggested settings are always topical without change.  Free wireless in the minutes also works.  As I sit in front of her suddenly the connection is lost.  Any ideas?

  OK, I thought about it.  The downloaded and extracted from the Linksys site .img file is good.  Download computer is only used to store the file. Download computer isn't able to open the file.  At first, I thought to update the firmware with a unknown file type could lead to losing the administration program.  The router itself includes the .img file.  I downloaded the file in the router and eureka, it works!  The wired connection with the router problem was because I had the Internet connection that is connected to the router.  The initial symptom of distress was a power LED flashing intermittently. Forum of thank you for your help.

• 8.1 USB on new SSD recovery using keeps failing

  So I looked and read a lot on this subject, and I can always find something that solves my problem. I ordered a

  Quad TouchSmart HP ENVY 15t

  Product number: 902143_1_E2E33AV

  That came with a mechanical HARD disk of 1 TB. I have an SSD from the desktop that replaces this laptop and I wanted to use it instead, for performance gain. I also have my own personal copy of Windows 8 Pro of this desktop build. So I removed the 1 TB HARD drive and replaced by the SSD. Next I went to get Windows 8 pro installed and updated, but there was only one device in the device manager that I was never able to install correctly. So I decided to buy the USB recovery thinking everything will go more smoothly, because it must contain all the necessary drivers. However, I get the same failure notice I've seen here every time.

  

  I reset the default bios, I tried to change the date to 2012 (don't know if it's still always topical) I've reformatted the drive with my installation of windows 8, then tried the recovery. This means the same fact. Am I a bad USB, or is there something that I am missing? I really want to use my SSD for my main drive. Thank you

  Most of the time, the factory recovery media does not work on a hard drive that is smaller than the one provided with your PC.

  Somewhere along the installation procedure, the la recuperation recovery of disks/USB checks the size of the hard drive and if it is less than probably the smallest mechanical hard drive available in your model, it error.

  Usually, it produces a specific "hard drive is smaller than the original drive", or words to that effect, but not always.

  If your laptop comes with W8.1, the only way you will be able to install it is to use an OEM of W8.1 x 64 installation DVD.

  I don't know where you can get a W8.1 x 64 OEM ISO free online download file.

  I don't have one for W8 x 64, but it works with a W8 product key, not a W8.1 product key.

  What device could not get to work on W8?

  You can probably use the driver of a comparable HP professional notebook that has the same hardware.

• print driver for Windows 8.1 7610

  I have the 7610 office jet. It handles paper up to 13 x 19. When I try to print on paper very large format, the selection of the size of paper in the print dialog box does not display larger sizes of paper, as the tabloid (11 x 17 inches). So I can't select/print large paper sizes. Y at - it another driver for this printer that will allow printing on tabloid and more paper?

  In fact, in document troubleshooting steps are always topical, and the equivalent steps can be executed on Windows 8.1. I checked on my own to ensure complete accuracy.

  OFC I did, if you open these links... you will see that all these links are critical. Only newegg.ca has but the price is not good enough.

  From this link, you can get it at: Rakuten.com, AztekComputers.com, ServerPartsWarehouse.com, Officedepot.fr.  Price is higher, but it is available.

  $240 "is not good enough..." I suppose then that you were hoping for a price of reduced output/release killer on it now that Dell sells more, but you probably won't find it for much cheaper that that (from a site of the retail - perhaps eBay as an alternative)... at least for a while.  $240CAD is $ 40 less that its initial price at retail, and given that technology is always topical, it won't probably not 'clearanced"anytime soon.

• Oh, the irony? High DPC latency with idle CPU - gives more stable, more low-latency DPC CPU usage 100%

  Just like in the title,

  I tried everything, disabling components, elimination of most of my RAM, update BIOS and loading failsafe and optimized defaults, etc. - and one thing I noticed is that Prime95 running x 64 on all hearts eliminates the peaks high in 1.2.0 DPC latency checker. Audio stuttering, what original research for corrections me, brought me to DPC latency checker.

  It's really strange that the 100% CPU usage would cause the DPC latency stabilize (mine hovers around 350-450 microseconds in the full use of the CPU, but in use slowed parameters or moderate apparently something causes a DPC peak at ~ 4100us max).

  Let me know if you figured it out!
