Hello

I need day a line already imposed with ODI is posible? and how can I do?

Thnaks,

Yes it is possible!

You can use an incremental update KM in an interface, this way it will insert new lines and update the 'old' or

You can create a procedure with an update statement, or even a merge statement.

You can do whatever you want with ODI

I hope this can help you!

  • Update lines with the info from the other rows in the same Table.

    I'm trying to update the lines with the information of the same table. The table is loaded with information from a report that runs and there must be a new entry every month, but I would like to bring some of the info from the last month. This statement below works but updates all rows in the new load table and in my test case, I only did a few game only like 5 files need to get updates. It is an example of what I'm trying to do. If I add this (C2. COL_INVC_ID = C1. COL_INVC_ID) until the last "* where *" statement get an invalid identifier for 'C2 '. COL_INVC_ID ". So what I'm doing wrong here? How can I update only the lines where also in recent months run?

    Thanks in advance for any help!

    It would be more useful if you were to say what is happening. "It doesn't work" is not very useful.

    However, a quick look at your code is your hidden field that contains the ID outside the loop (repeat region) in your form. Place it inside the loop like this:

  • Update a large number of lines with a sequence

    Hello guys, im having this trouble to update some documents, the problem is that I have

    I have this table with some transactions and each row have a cd_cli (CustomerID), dt_ven (the transaction date) and a product id (cd_prod) the problem is, I add a line for each product in this table, then I like that

    110001YURI AGUIRREWALLMA400V44-B469.0019/09/2013
    210001YURI AGUIRREB-7N-SU78.0019/09/2013
    310001YURI AGUIRREWALLSF35V22-S78.5719/09/2013
    410003WILLIANWALLSA470V22-BS449,0009/02/2013

    but I need to update the CD_TRANS for each line with the same number as all the recode YURI AGUIRRE must have like 1 CD_TRANS and CD_TRANS Williams must be 2 and the other must be cd_trans 3, but I tried to update the table in many ways but I have no success try to do this the last thing that I had tried

    MERGE INTO TVEN_TEMP a
         USING (SELECT CD_CLI, DENSE_RANK () OVER (ORDER BY DT_VEN) new_seq_num
                  FROM TVEN_TEMP
                 WHERE CD_TRANS IS NULL) b
            ON (a.CD_CLI = b.CD_CLI)
    WHEN MATCHED
    THEN
       UPDATE SET
          a.CD_TRANS =
             b.new_seq_num + (SELECT NVL (MAX (CD_TRANS), 0) FROM TVEN_TEMP)
               WHERE a.CD_TRANS IS NULL;

    but this "work" for me, keep giving my this ORA-30926 error. I tried to create a sequence, but I can't use the update sequence in group by for example. any ideas?

    He comes to the table

    CD_CLINUMBER (5)
    NM_CLIVARCHAR2 (255)
    CD_PRODVARCHAR2 (20)
    CD_RESRVNUMBER (30)
    CD_TRANSNUMBER (30)
    VL_VENNUMBER (13.2)
    DT_VENDATE

    In your separate cases will not work! Therefore, if the values in columns (we clause) are not unique, then, use instead the ROWID .

    Like: -.

    MERGE INTO

    tven_temp one

    USING

    (SELECT DENSE_RANK () OVER (ORDER BY dt_ven) new_seq_num

    OF tven_temp) b

    WE (a.rowid = b.rowid)

    WHEN MATCHED THEN

    UPDATE SET a.cd_trans = b.new_seq_num

    ;

    It will work. (Tested).

    When you try to update the column of file type for all records-

    Update NewTable set FileType = (select FileType from ancienne_table where Fileno = newtable.fileNo and folder = NewTable. File);

    It would work fine for all other cases with the exception of the first two that are currently double.

    It won't work of course because it would give - "row subquery returns more rows" error because of these duplicate records.

    I'm trying to update the file type column to the first two rows with values 'Type1' and 'Type2 '.

    Out of these two files, it won't matter whose recording of newtable is updated with 'Type1' and you get 'Type2 '.

    Now the problem is that when later I change the quantity and price of the first line isn't updated but second row, because I used the command

     <af:button actionListener="#{bindings.Commit.execute}" text="Commit"

    This button update the first line added by bean managed, but the second row remains unchanged.

    Please help how to update the two lines with the same button or something else.

    Concerning

    DML_UPDATE will call only if there is some change data attributes.

    I guess that the update statement is false because vid looks like a primary key for the table, then, how update you the primary key of the update statement and how the update condition statement where the vid = '0'

    I assume the update statement should look like:

      private void updateSecondRowInDatabase(Object value1, Object value2, Object value3, Object value4)
      {
        PreparedStatement stat = null;
        try
        {
          String sql =
            "update vdet set lineitem='" + value2 + "',DEBITST='" + value3 + "', AMOUNT='" + value4 +
            "' where VID='" + value1 + "'";
          System.out.println("sql= " + sql);
          stat = getDBTransaction().createPreparedStatement(sql, 1);
          stat.executeUpdate();
        }
        catch (Exception e)
        {
          e.printStackTrace();
        }
        finally
        {
          try
          {
            stat.close();
          }
          catch (Exception e)
          {
            e.printStackTrace();
          }
        }
      }

  • How can I update the rubrics with WebServices?

    How can I update the rubrics with WebServices?

    /Anyone/ has some success with this?

    It becomes important to our business objectives in order to solve the problems within the control elements.

    I can't enter the number of line by line in order to uniquely identify it. How can I get that number, so I can send it with xml "update"?

    A little nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    Aaron.

    You must use a field on the form as the one on the line items, NOT the line number that appears in the journal of the line item. If I understand correctly, the LineItemIdentifier can be any field on the form, even the short description. It is best if you know you will use web services to update the line items, you add a (potentially hidden) field to the form and fill that with unique values when positions are created. If you are working with existing elements of line, then you must choose a field that will be usually unique within a single record and hope, you don't have a lot of duplicates.

  • Update the Variable by ODI reference Variable MSSQL

    Hello

    I am currently trying to get the return code that returns an executable JAR file.  This jar file is successfully using the ODIOsCommand.  The problem I have is that when fails it JAR file I try to get the return code for control of flow after the process.  I can see the correct return code (10) when I check the ODI Agent after that that it executes:

    ODI-1217: TestJarExectution Session (304501) fails with return code 7000.

    ODI-1226: OdiOSCommand step 1 fails after 1 attempt.

    ODI-1241: Oracle Data Integrator tool execution fails.

    Caused by: com.sunopsis.dwg.function.SnpsFunctionBaseException: ODI-30038: OS command has returned 10

    My approach was to create a variable, and then have it refresh with the variable reference ODI - < % = odiRef.getPrevStepLog ("RC") % >.  I'm getting an invalid token ' < ' found when I try and update this variable.

    During this research, I came across discussion where someone against a SQL query an Oracle are - select < % = odiRef.getPrevStepLog ("RC") % > FROM DUAL.  The problem here is that we have no instance Oracle and MSSQL Server 2008.  ODI is also configured on a database of MSSQL Server 2008.  Is there anyway to properly update the variable with the getPrevStepLog using Microsoft SQL?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    Try the same approach but eliminate the FROM clause. For example, "SELECT <%=odiRef.getPrevStepLog("RC")%>". ». It should work under SQL Server.

    Kind regards

  • Replace the carriage return or new line with a table space

    Hello

    I want to replace the carriage return or new line with space in my column of the database.

    To do this, I'm using this query:

    Select replace (replace (Comments, chr (10),' '), Chr (13),' ') OF Comments_Master

    Comments_Master is the name of the table and comments is column that contains carriage return or new line.

    But this query works as expected.

    Once I run this query and run the query again "select * FROM Comments_Master", transport return and new line still exist.

    Please let me know what is wrong with this query?

    You write that data back you? This example shows that your sql should work. I thinnk the query that you just described is the updated one below.

    create table blah (text varchar2 (100));

    insert into bla values (' it's multi)

    line of text ");"

    Select * from blah.

    Select replace (replace (text, chr (10),' '), Chr (13),' ') of bla.

    Update text bla = replace (replace (text, chr (10),' '), Chr (13),' ');

    Select * from blah.

  • Error in replicat by updating a line

    Oracle 11 g 2
    OGG 11.1.1.1.5

    I get the following error for updating a line that exists in the target and the source db:
    OCI Error ORA-01403: no data found, SQL <UPDATE....
    The following is in the rejection file:
    ...
    Record not found
    Mapping problem with compressed key update record (target format)...
    ...
    The line exists in the basis of the target for sure. But for some reason, he thinks that's not here... why?

    Here are the exact steps I did:

    1 create a table in the source
    2. create the same table in the target (explicitly not through the replication that we have an exclusion on 'CREATE' filter)
    3. lines inserted in the source (which have been replicated to the target table) table.
    4 remove a row in the source table (which were not applied to the target that I use the IGNOREDELETE parameter)
    5 put to update a row in the source table (this is where I got the above error "ORA-1403"even if the line exist).

    Perhaps to paste your settings replicate file details to see us, and do a STATS TOTAL extractname on the source and paste the output for the table in question. And I suppose also that once you have created the table on the source that you ran ADD TRANDATA to it?

  • Need to update several lines in a multi-line table in another

    I came to the conclusion that I can't do that because of the absence of a unique key that is related, but maybe you can help me with a solution. I tried all of the solutions posted here, but they do not work in my scenario. I have codes in a table that is a list of codes to the related market which they should be used for. I have a second table of customers who do not have the code assigned to them until they are sent to an advertisement. This table has the market_id for each customer and the table of codes has the market_id associated with each code. I want to update the customer table with one of the associated with the market_id mergecodes - but between the two tables you isn't a unique key to connect. I thought I could just update the records which had corresponding market_ids, but nothing works. In the two tables below, I want to be able to update t3tm.mergecode with one of the mergecodes that has the same market_id ("Austin") in t3mc. It does not matter that it is associated with a particular customer.

    {code}

    create table T3mc (use of mergecode varchar (10), market_id varchar (25), week number, varchar2 (5));

    Insert into T3mc values ('A8976","Austin", 2,");
    Insert into T3mc values ('A8988","Austin", 2,");
    Insert into T3mc values ("A9900", "Houston", 2, ");
    commit;

    create table T3tm (name varchar (20), market_id varchar (25), mergecode varchar (10), identification number);

    insert into T3tm Values ('Smith', 'Austin' ", 1);
    insert into T3tm Values ("Jones", "Austin", ", 2);
    commit;
    {code}

    {code}
    Select * from T3mc;
    MARKET_ID, WEEK, USED, MERGECODE
    Austin 2 A8976 (null)
    Austin 2 A8988 (null)
    Houston 3 A9900 (null)
    Select * from T3tm;

    LAST_NAME, MARKET_ID, MERGECODE ID
    Austin Smith (null) 1
    Austin Jones (null) 2
    {code}
