Something wrong?   I would recommend a complete uninstall of the HP - use HP software uninstalling the software in your programs folder.

Restart your PC.

Download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

I downloaded and installed by using the downloaded driver package. The installation was interrupted by a Win32 exception:

Go through this link for installation on windows 7 [http://obieeblog.wordpress.com/2009/01/12/obiee-on-windows-7-beta-32-bits/]

  • Former installation problem program under Windows 7 64-bit

I installed the 64-bit Windows 7, but I need to run some old software, for which I have a CD. (Actually I think it is 16-bit. Well, I know it's a dinosaur, but this is my situation.) Naturally, setup.exe is also 16-bit (perhaps 32 bits, but I doubt it). There is a shortcut to setup.exe on my desk, by double-clicking on it, I get this message:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using. Check your computer's system information to see if you need a x 86 (32 bit) or x 64 (64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher.

He ran very well under Windows XP 32-bit, and I don't remember doing something special for 16 bit then; I know that much. (I'm sure I'd remember something special like that, if I had). Microsoft program compatibility issues resolution isn't going anywhere.

How do I enter a 32-bit emulator environment and double-click the shortcut (or setup.exe itself) from there?

    64 bit W7 run 16-bit programs.

32-bit W7 can run older 16-bit programs (a little) more

See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/32-bit-and-64-bit-windows#1TC=windows-7 and http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/how-can-i-run-16-bit-programs-in-windows-7-64-bit/22b921f5-0b71-4ba1-8567-2bb86a1b604e for additional information.

If you have an eligible version of W7, you may be able to get the program running in XPMode or install Virtual Box and if you run an old copy of XP or W7 32-bit (assuming it's free with a free license, etc.) in that.

Or maybe make a system dual-boot W732 (or XP) and W764.

If it is a DOS program rather than an old Windows program, it can run into something like DOSBOX

You can be very sure to install any vmware product in your pc. It does not break anything in your pc

When I talk about issues, I was talking about issues on the post itself or the virtual machines running on my computer. Not in the Windows system or software installed on it.

  • HP Photosmart C5180 - Windows 7 64 bit - network - device detected but FAIL to install.

    Hello

I have a Photosmart C5180, connected with an ethernet (not usb) cable.

It's great to work with all the computers in the House (vista and xp).

But my new computer, a 64-bit windows operating system 7, impossible to install the drivers:

The drivers are now installed, but the step 'add a device' does not work correctly.

After the analysis of network, the printer is displayed:

Then I click Next, to "network analysis":

OK, next step is "installation." Before the picture, it says 'detected printer"(french).

And a few seconds after it fails:

    Grrrr wtf?

    Thanks for the help!

I had problems to install the HP software. When I installed the full package I get pop ups and error messages. So I did a complete reinstall (I have now if he really had to do I had other issues). After that I just installed the drivers and no extras and it works very well. I'm also hooked using the ethernet connection. A point even before the reinstall if I come you drivers and no additional software. I can still scan using Windows Fax and Scan. I probably will not add extra software until there is another version.

  • This is the 1935 error once again, the installation of Norton Ghost Windows 7 64 bit

Hi, I say 'yet' because it's a frequently asked question, unfortunately with no viable solutions.

I installed Norton Ghost 15 on this machine 3 years ago. No problems. Today, when you pull up the ghost, she suddenly want to run the MSI installer for some reason any and then complains about something. Unfortunately I got a copy of the error. I just uninstalled completely, using the Symantec removal tool.

When you try to install Norton Ghost again, I get this:

I unchecked .net framework 3.5 in Windows features, rebooted, checked again and rebooted. I installed Microsoft C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable. This I did because another post suggested to do this.

I also activated the journal feature detailed in the Windows installation program and get a huge file full of data, which tell me what I can use. Yes, something went wrong shot, but in this (these) file (s) there is no special section that stands out in a way that tells me that what in fact was wrong.

Now, is say, not possible to obtain information in plain language? Saying that the Assembly is absent, this file is missing and so on. Because obviously something is not here that should be there, who were 3 years ago, when Norton Ghost installation went flawless.

Or is it something else? "An error occurred during the installation of assembly component", which component? And what is normally the cause of this problem, which will normally not when an assembly component cannot be installed?

My question basically goes like this:

How can I know what is the real error? Assembly that is missing, have what is missing? The blind approach isn't trying for me, there must be a scientific way of this approach!

    Any help appreciated!

    -Ingvar

    OK, I found the solution:

    Error 1935 resolved

Big - just install Ghost until the error message. Do NOT click OK, instead, use task or much better, Manager procedure such as SysInternals Monitor to kill all processes of msi windows installer and everything that has nothing to do with Norton.

Ghost 15 is now installed and you can register and use it.

Problem is, there is a current cancellation, who will run the next time you want to install (all) application.

    Delete these registry keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress

    and

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress\Rollback

Now, everything should be good, at least it looks so here!

  • CS4 Web Premium Installation fails - Pemium Home Windows 7 64 bit

I have a new computer running windows 7 Home premium 64-bit. The first software I've tried to install was CS4 Web Premium. It cannot install after having worked for some time and apparently installed some of the parties under the now - failed to install major components such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.

I ran the following own (whatever it is calld) and tried again with the same results. Finally I just install a stand-alone version of Photoshop CS5 Photoshop is the software I use 95% of the time and I need to get some work done, while I continued to get the rest of my data/software in place.

Now, I'm almost finished installing my software and move my data to the new computer, I would like to go back and install CS4 - especially, I don't need that Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Flash. What is the best way to get this installed? I'll be better off doing this installation in Compatibility Mode because it won't install in normal mode? If so, how could I do (just need to copy the contents of the installation DVD to the hard drive first?)

Computer: Lenovo IdeaCentre K330, Intel Core i5 2300 (2.80GHz), 8 GB of DDR3 memory, 1 TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 420 (1 GB), Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit

Which specific component is responsible for, it's impossible to say without seeing the Setup logs and even then it may not appear, I'm afraid. Can be anything. People don't usually comes take knowledge, because when you have already installed many programs, chances are that it is already on your system. Also, make sure your Windows Event Viewer. If this is a generic error due to a missing DLL, it may appear here...
