  • Canon Pixma MG5420 is not compatible with Windows 8

When I install the software, my laptop can detect the printer and finishes the installation, but the network configuration of the printer driver will always fail. The printer is easily connected to my network. I can use the webprint my smartphone app - fantastic print of the photo, but my office or my cell phone (the two Windows 8) can print even a test page - driver is still not available.
I also tried the USB Setup. It seems to work but I still get this error: "program could not load the required component and it will put end. Please reinstall your software." I uninstalled the software several times, shut down the PC, reinstalled the software, all to nothing does not. I can see the printer in the devices with the usb or wsd drivers Manager, but it is not available to any program.
Setup has failed by using the disc that came with the printer and the file downloaded from Canon: mp68-victory-mp5400-1_01 - ejs.exe.
I returned the printer to the seller.

  • Lightroom 4 to be compatible with Canon Rebel t5, I can't convert the raw files or view them on computer?

I hope for an update. My digital SLR Canon Rebel t5 is not supported with lightroom 4. I can't review or open images Raw, lightroom render almost useless. Maybe Adobe can send me Lightroom 5.5 help me, while working for my camera compatible. ?

Lightroom 4 will never be updated to your compatible device.  You can download the DNG Converter and convert the CR2 files to DNG, that would be compatible with Lr4.

  • The canon 7 d mark ii is compatible with 12 items?

The Canon 7 d mark ii is compatible with 12 items?

Not directly.  This camera came out after PSE12 was obsolete, so only PSE13 can be updated with a plug in Camera Raw, fairly new to open native raw files.

The workaround, which takes the most steps, is to convert the CR2 DNG files using the converter DNG 8.7 or more recent, and then these DNG can be opened in the old Camera Raw plugin with older items.

You can get the DNG Converter here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

You can get PSE13 from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/software.html

  • LR Canon RC 4.2 objective 40mm and 18-135 STM profiles not installed

I installed LR 4.2 RC but when I check the lens profiles these lenses are not listed while ACR 7.2 is supposed to support. Can someone tell me where I can get the profiles of these lenses and what is the appropriate procedure to install?

I found what I was doing wrong. All I had to do was open my RAW CR2 in the development of the file module and select the lens correction tab and tick the box enable Corrections profile and my Canon 18-135 lens profile STM has been activated. Thanks for the replies.

  • Canon 6 d and that compatible lenses?

I recently sold all my equipment Nikon together for various reasons.  I'll buy the Canon 6 d when it comes out next month.

I live in the Japan and it is currently listed as a kit: EOS 6 d EF24 - 105L IS USM.  I want a 18-200 and hope that Canon fits Nikon and goes out with a 18-300 soon.  When I search contacts, what code number should I look to be sure it is 100% compatible with the 6 d.

Is this the 'EF', 'IS' or 'USM' in the part number I need to make sure that is always in a lens that is 100% compatible with the 6 d.

    Hello from Tokyo

The 6 d AF limited compared to 5-3 and a lot of Nikon, I advise you to try it before you buy.

"EF" means full frame, this is the only important to you. Do not buy one that says "EF - S" it's APS - C only sencor. All EF will be 100% compatible.

'IS' is stabilized and 'USM' is fast AF, they are irelevant in terms of compatible or not.

You will find 18-200 on sensors full frame as the 6 d. The standard zooms are more like the 24-105 you have selected. If you want a zoom and the size is very large, the 24-105 or the new 24-70 is a good choice.

Overall, I'm not sure why buy a camera full frame and use it with a single zoom dark. You will lose the benefit of the large sensor. At least, I recommend you buy a 50mm 1.8, as well as your body and play with him (it is 8000 JPY in Kakaku.com).

My advise is to try different lenses before settle you on a total of this pelases you. Usually people spend 2/3 of the budget on lentils, 1/3 only on the body, because the pictures you make depends more on the lenses. A lens can not do it all very well.

    Concerning

Thank you.  Someone once told me the grip was not compatible, and I was concerned about my L-bracket for tripod work (that I can test in the store).  I just wanted to check.  Thanks again!

I'm sure that both cameras use different battery handles.  Remember, brackets are usually designed to hold the Canon battery grips, not 3rd party, handles that must be slightly different form of Canon.
