  Only the versions shipped with the computer originally are free.  You can probably re-download delivered software using the Mac App Store application on your computer. If you want more recent versions, you will have to pay for them.

  I recently bought my windows laptop August 8, 2013. I was quite hesitant to buy the new OS because I'm so used to those others. I think I got used to it, there are a few quirks that I don't like and I heard will be the new update in 8.1.

  Now, I just bought this laptop, I'll be able to update my windows 8 for windows 8.1? It seems that it would be like how my Tablet android updates (or at least it should be). What do I have to pay?   1: I have no idea how can I change the way my computer starts, I prefer it to start on the desktop.
  2nd: I can't even use the mode screen shared on my laptop because I have a 13.3 "display and it divides with a 30/70 with either left or right, there is no way to make the 50/50 split.

  I hear they are the things that are being improved and I really hope that I am able to do the 8.1 update when it becomes official. It would be disappointment to find that I just bought this new laptop just to deal with a bad version of windows 8.

  Yes, anyone who currently has Windows 8 is installed will be able to update to the new Windows 8.1, for free.

  Starting October 18, 2013, you will see the Windows 8.1 update when you open the store Windows of your start screen.

  I tried to import by different methods.  I created an external file on my hard drive and put the RAW images in there and asked Lightroom to import from there.  I also simply asked Lightroom to import directly from the card to the camera.

  In both cases, I see the images on my screen but then one by one, they are converted to an image blackened with nothing at all.

  I tried to put pictures in development but that makes no difference, even using the adjustment sliders.

  I tried to export images from Lightroom in Photoshop CC.  There, I have a very dark version of the image.  While I suppose I could change it, I have no idea what the image before hand that I simply export a black image.

  This happened only since I've upgraded to the new version of Lightroom on CC.  Before that, I had no problem and went through the laborious effort of crating a new catalogue over 25,000 images... maybe it's a very small number of images in actual value, but for me it's a great thing.

  Try this

  • Open Lightroom
  • Go to preferences - Presets and uncheck apply the automatic adjustment of the note
  • Restart LR
  • Now import images and see if it works

  What Keith said, to be more precise, you can install the same version of Lightroom for which you have a serial number.

  If you want to change the version say LR 4 to 5 LR, you will have to pay for the upgrade.

  Glimpse is word of Adobe for beta - it basically just means that we're going to test!  Not many of the features are "beta", it is very similar to fuse 1.3 but it has new things like the soft-mod tool that lets you push and pull the stitches autour manually, but also a new set of content.

  Regarding the pricing goes, we don't know yet what will be the availability of fuse CC long term, but we are working on the details and will make an announcement when we have more information here.  You can use 1.3 fuse and fuse CC beside eachother, so if it is contained in 1.3 Fuse, you want to always access you can continue to use that one.
