Is there a 64-bit version of Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation?

I have a desktop 64-bit I need to reinstall Windows XP on. The installation disc comes with SP1, so I'll need to install SP3 on it, but I can't seem to find a 64-bit version.

There is none.  SP2 was the last version for 64-bit Windows.

    Windows XP SP3 problem

Recently, I met a problem with my PC and was forced to use the system recovery. Now I'm back to factory settings and try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my computer. Windows Update won't work for me, that whenever I try to update I get [error number: 0x8024400A]. I think it's because I use Service Pack 2, or that's what I concluded after researching the problem, anyway.

This is not my real concern, however. Because I could not get the update automatically, I tried to download and install the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT professionals and developers" myself. The first time I did it, I restarted the PC after the installation and was met with "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "  I went into safe mode and went to a just system restore point before SP3 was installed, but now I don't know how to install it correctly without encountering this problem after reboot. I'm hardly the easy just stick with SP2 when there are potentially important available updates. How can I get Windows Service Pack 3 is installed on my PC?

    It's certainly interesting!

If the cause of your problem is to have a HP PC with an AMD processor and an original image on your hard drive (and of course it sounds like this is the case), the solution should be to rename the file intelppm.sys and launch the sp37394.exe patch. Once done, the SP3 file that you downloaded from here:
    SHOULD work!
I'm puzzled why there is no intelppm.sys file in your directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.
Since you recently returned to square one with your PC ("return to factory settings"), then you may as well run the patch from this page:
and try the SP3 Setup file again.
But, first, let's be absolutely sure that we are both using the same terminology. Please answer the following questions:
    1. have you safely backed up ALL your data?
    2. what method did you use to ride "back to factory settings? I think that your choices have been a destructive restore (full) and a (partial) non-destructive recovery. The first erases the disk and leave you with a pristine image and NOTHING ELSE (which means that all of your programs and data get deleted). The other (which does not always correctly) is supposed to leave programs and data intact.

I have will have to sp2 as well but can't get that until I get sp1

    Hi Joy,.

Let us work together to solve this problem.

During the installation of Windows Vista SP1, this problem occurs when a third-party application holds open a file or locks a file that the Service Pack installer should use. For example, an application third-party antivirus or antispyware may cause this problem. I suggest you temporarily uninstall any antivirus software and check if you are able to install the service pack. Please do not forget to reactivate once the process is complete.

Method 1: Alternatively, you can reset Windows Update components.

Method 2: I ask that you download and run the system update readiness tool and check if you are able to install the service pack.

Hello! I have a 32-bit version of Windows 7 and I subscribed plan creative mgoe (CC 2015 Photoshop and Lightroom). Unfortunately when I try to use photoshop there is a ram (out of memory) error. I have a 8 giga of ram, and I have already raised the photoshop preference range.

It seems that the installation of a 32-bit version of Windows is your mistake. This limits each app to not more than 2-3 gigabytes, no matter how much RAM you install.

of course it is a. you get both when you purchase subscription.

In order to optimize the download and the installation phase, we no longer package both 64 bit and 32 bit version in the same setup during the installation of the creative cloud application. If you have a 64 bit version of Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 of Windows and require a 32-bit version of Photoshop for compatibility with the older plug-ins or device drivers, you can download the 32-bit version of Photoshop CC 2014 release below.
