Is there a Director HP for Windows 8?

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 8.  I downloaded a new driver for it, but there was no included HP Director.  The Director is an important part of the management of the printer.  Is there a version of Director of Windows 8, or is this another case of 'throw your printer in perfect condition and buy a new one '?

Hey Mark21

Your printer is an older model and there is no option for the HP Solutions Center or with Windows 8 HP Director. You can print a self-test report that will tell you if the ink is low.

Here is a link that will take you to a download page in the reference Guide for your printer.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&LC=en&product=303753&

What you have to do, is access to the self-test report is press Setup and then press 1, then 4. This example displays the report. The report will have a few different sections, one of them will be a black and color cartridge patterns. The value of low ink warning message will appear above the corresponding test models. If set to 1, 2 or 3, the cartridge is not enough on this topic. The more the lower the ink level.

Thank you

Why is there no Equalizer multi for windows 7?

Yes, I understand that you can change the settings in media player to change the equalizer, but it is unnecessary, for example when you listen to online content, it is a step back! I can't find compatible programs that can afford it, that has always been available on windows.

What kind of audio chip do you have?
The AC97 (more frequent) comes with a nice utility to do this. It is only 10 tapes but...
The utility (called Manager of sound effects) is installed in the Panel by default.

Otherwise, try Panel > Sound select your speakers, and then click the properties > Enhancements
One of these options is an equalizer of sorts with presets down below.

  • How to get a product key, that I had a new hard drive installed in the computer shop and it seems that there is no key for windows 7

    Original title: window 7

Hi can one tell me how to get a product key, that I had a new hard drive installed in the computer shop and it seems that there is no key for windows 7, I just brought Office 2016 and he did not finish the load down with the windows key 7.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)

Yes, you are in the right place.

So that in my view not as powerful as iMovie, you can download the following Windows Essentials to add applications such as Movie Maker, Messenger and SkyDrive Photo Gallery on your computer.

  • Are there still offers student for Windows 7? (not updated)

I am building a custom PC, but for various reasons can not use Windows 8 and still need 7.  I'm curious to know if, as Windows 7 is still available until next year, there are offers for a clean-install version still available, or if I have to pay the full price for it.  I'm currently having problems find whatever it is about student offerings for Windows 7 as well.

You will have to pay full price or consider buying an OEM System Builder for Windows 7 license:

  • Belkin Home Base F5L049 - is there a driver anywhere for Windows 8?

    Hello

I talked with Belkin and their home port has no drivers for Windows 7 or 8.  They have one next year!

Does anyone know of another pilot who can work, or a way around it?

    Thank you very much

    Gillian

    Hi Gillian,

Maybe it's too late for you, but I found a way to get the Belkin Home Base to work with Windows 8.1, and it's really very simple. I can't take credit for the difficulty: I found it buried in comments on an old page produces more on Amazon, posted by a user named "Joes" - but I can verify that it works very well.

The problem seems to be with a device driver called SXUPTP, which is installed by the Belkin control center and does not work with Windows 8.1 (you can check by looking in Device Manager after installing the Belkin control center). * However *, the company that created the driver actually is Flint. They create network USB hubs, so it is possible they were the seller Belkin used in the creation of the Base in the first place. Anyway, Flint * fact * have updated drivers that work under Windows 8/8.1.

    Here's what you do:

    (1) install the Belkin control center and restart when you are prompted.

    (2) once you return to Windows, he will vomit eventually an error saying something to the effect that a request has failed.

    (3) check your system tray, and you will probably see that Belkin control disappears when you mouse over. Otherwise, go ahead and right-click on the icon and select "Exit Control Center.

    (4) to download the latest version of the software SX Virtual Link (sx-virtual_link_win_s - 33A 3140 .zip at the time of this writing) of flint. NOTE: You * not * install all software, but simply to install the driver that is packed with it.

    (5) unpack the software of flint.

    (6) in Windows Explorer, find the folder you just extracted to and navigate to the folder of the s-33a3140\Files\Bin\Sxcsapi\WinVistaX64 (or WinVistaX32 if you're on 32-bit, I guess).

    (7) right click on the Sxuptp.inf file and select "install".

    (8) you should get a message that the installation was successful. At this stage, click on "OK" and restart Belkin Control Center.

    Everything should work now!

  • I NEED TO KNOW WHY THE _ THERE IS NO COMPATIBILITY FOR WINDOWS XP MODE 7 HOME PREMIUM EDITION. AND WHY HAVE WE NOT "WAGES" TO ASK FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS AFTER THAT WE PAID HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR THE SOFTWARE?

I PAID A LOT FOR NEW WINDOWS IN NOVEMBER LAST, AND I ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FREE SUPPORT?  THAT BREATH!  TEXAS INSTRUMENTS GOT GREEDY IN THE 1980S AND TOYOTA IS GOURMAND RECENTLY, NOW THEY'RE LOOKING AT BANKRUPTCY!

SO MY QUESTION IS IS THERE A DEMO FOR LATER VERSIONS OF WINDOWS 7? BECAUSE I NEED OBVIOUSLY BUT XP COMPATIBILITY MODE I WANT TO BE 100% CERTAIN THAT THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEM OF MY GAMES CRASHING THE SYSTEM WHICH REQUIRES A REBOOT.

FOR MICROSOFT REAL, JUST HOW GREEDY YOU NEED BE?

I ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FREE SUPPORT?

If you buy retail (non OEM) then Microsoft generally taking care for the first two free incidents. Please consult the documentation provided with your copy of Windows 7.

IS THERE A DEMO FOR LATER VERSIONS OF WINDOWS 7?

I think that the only DEMO of Windows 7 available currently is approved specifically for the IT professionals. The demo lasts 90 days, but I "think" that Microsoft recommends that you be part of a company to participate. I don't know how they would feel if the average end user participated in the demonstration program.

I NEED OBVIOUSLY BUT XP COMPATIBILITY MODE I WANT TO BE 100% CERTAIN THAT THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEM OF MY GAMES CRASH THE SYSTEM

I don't 'think' the XP COMPATIBILITY MODE in Windows 7 will help you a lot. I "think" it uses Para-virtualization, which is unfortunately too slow for almost all games. I was able to run some software in a virtualized copy of Win XP, but the software was not a lot of resources like computer games is.

I am surprised that your games break in Windows 7. I run 32 Bit Win XP Pro SP3 here at home, but I have recently built a machine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with 4 GB of RAM for my mother and it seems to work. My mother runs a Sims 3 and Sims 1 without problems, but Sims 2 gave here a few rendering problems that I don't think are associated with Windows 7.

I recommend that players stick with Windows 7. Although there are other available operating systems, Windows 7 is probably the best operating system currently available to players. High compatibility and DirectX 10 + Support + 4 GB of RAM (or more) supported in Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit make Windows 7 a good set of OS. Trust the creators of the XBox of world-class, Super Sidewinder Joystick and high-speed Direct X technology.

BTW: Now you can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro for only $ 90

    http://store.Microsoft.com/Microsoft/Windows-Anytime-Upgrade-Windows-7-Home-Premium-to-professional/product/C562285E

Probably upgrade will not make your game better, but it will give you the possibility to have a safer computer.

    Final note:

I wish Microsoft could release a Version of Visual Studio 2010 Standard... Who doesn't have my feathers ruffled a little because I can't see paying $800 for a compiler...
