  In my opinion, this can be done without the help of a script.

  You'll need a PhotoShop action and batch processing in PhotoShop to make the conversion from PSD files to jpg.

  Then in InDesign connect images PSD selected in the folder of links with the command bind again file Extensions that allows to choose the good suffix, jpg, be reprinted from the PSD with the same name, but a different suffix. (InDesign CS5 and above)

  My name is Lynne and I have a few questions that I am struggling to solve

  I am running Dynamics GP 10.00.1368 that seems to be sp4

  When I try to open the sales year end closing screen (Tools > Routines > sales > year end close) nothing happens, even through I the end window of the year closing checked ADMIN_SALES_015 slot (period of the end of Sales Routines) for POWERUSER which is how I'm connected (his).

  I assumed (wrongly) that I would be able to address this issue at a later date after the end of June (end of the year our) so I allowed everyone back on the system and displays were held as usual. However, in reading several messages from various sources I have unfortunately starting to recognize I have a made a mistake here & missed the two boats at the end of year!

  I would really appreciate it if someone could: -.

  (a) advise on how I can get to see the end of year sales closing screen &

  (b) run a successful year for end of December 2011 end, then a end of year to end June 2012

  or to offer advice on the best way to address this issue. for example is there there a script that fills all the fields of LYR & CDA and LTD with correct figures once I "tell him" what the 'Calendar' and 'Financial' end of year dates were?

  I understand that buying and year-end sales routines are optional, but nevertheless I am pretty cross with myself for letting these routines lapse.

  If there is no cure here, it will take until the end of December and just close the calendar year then as normal and live with the fact that "Last year" will be two years ' worth of data?

  Should I seek to apply a new service pack / hotfix - I can't even my mind upward that, if all I should download and apply?

  Nothing is ever simple, unless maybe it's typing here!

• Convert all Instances of a graph to a MovieClip

  Well, so I created an animation, many parts which are of simple graphics, and everything works fine.

  However I realized now that I need to the graphics or movieclips so that I can activate some scripted behaviour. Now, I know how by selecting the frame, by selecting the chart and by changing its type to MovieClip, but this works only for a single keyframe at a time which is simply not an option, because I have a lot of keyframes for a single image, and I have several that need to convert.

  So what I want to know is; is it possible that I can convert all instances of a chart in a calendar in a movieclip?

  If Flash doesn't have this capability as standard, then are the scripts/commands I can install it? I have a very useful to easily name a bunch of instances of movieclip, but it won't convert the graphics, unfortunately.

  If there is no command is, then can still tell me some good examples of how to create a custom command? In particular I need to know how to find the current selection (frames) and work through them looking for graphics to be converted.

  I don't know anything about programming scripts and unfortunately inDesign isn't any panel actions as Photoshop..

  I need a script to convert a text box with HTML code inside a HTML object... I think not, it should be very difficult

  How could be the following:

  (1) select the text box
  (2) cut all text inside
  (3) remove the empty box
  (4) select selection tool
  (5) go to OBJECT/INSERT HTML
  6) paste it into the code before you cut the text box
  (7) OK and close the menu INSERT HTML code

  If the Script works, we could change with HTML code inside a text box to an object HTML (video, card, animations,...)

  The first step could be manually selecting each text box or by selecting all of the boxes that start automatically by "< iFRAME '

  I am currently scripting for Illustrator CS6. I'm pretty new to JavaScript. I was wondering if it is possible for a script to identify all the < Clip group > in the file and to run an Action to crop in pathfinder? I created the Action to refocus, but I'm not sure of how to call the action properly to make it work. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

  You have to keep the "juggling" selection so that the right things are selected when you want. In this case, we get all the clipping using the selection masks, but then to be able to use the harvest, deselect all except one of the clipping paths, select the parent group to get the clip and his art at a time, then use the harvest and deselect the result, then make sure you select the clipping paths again. The while loop is supposed to leave when it is no longer able to select any clipping paths, but when things go wrong, there is a variable esc - right now it is set at 50, make sure that this number is bigger than your clipping paths expected.

  I'm new to the creative cloud, but not of Adobe Indesign.  Normally when I would update to a software suite, all files associated with a particular program would be automatically associated with the newly loaded software version.  I noticed that all of my "Indesign" files always have the CS4 icon, when I open a file and print, I wonder if I want to save it in a file IDCC.  Then, he makes me choose where to place the file and asks me if I want to get rid of the old file and keep both versions.  I understand that I could store files on my drive hard or in my account of cloud.

  My question is, is there a way to automatically convert all Indesign CS4 files on IDCC files so I don't have to go through the manual process of putting the file newly converted in the right folder each and every time I open a file (for the first time in IDCC)?  I want to keep all my files on my local network for now and feel like I'm missing something simple thank you.

  You would be actually well advised NOT to replace or remove older versions. It is not uncommon for the converted files (especially when the originals are many versions older than the current) to suddenly encounter a fatal error. Backup storage is very cheap compared to the cost of the reconstruction of a long document or complex from scratch.

  For existing photos, select all your images in the grid view, and then click the Reset All button in the quick develop Panel. Then click on the auto tone button to correctly apply this feature.

  To prevent this from happening in the future, choose Lightroom > preferences > Presets (Mac OS) or edit > Preferences > Presets (Windows). Uncheck the apply auto tone adjustments.

  Currently, we have an infrastructure VM 1000 + reversed between 2 data centers and are moving from 5.1 to 5.5 ESXi.

  We want to make sure on the new architecture of 5.5 is that any virtual computer that VMware tools installed - it installs on any event powercycle.

  Y at - it a script of mass that we could run for linux servers and windows can this factor?

  At the moment we have 700 VMs have the tools installed and up-to-date

  100 or more, who have installed and are not updated

  200 + remaining machines do not have the tools installed, and we want to automate to install the tools on any event of power cycle.

  For the 100 who are not up-to-date

  We followed the following tasks and confirmed that it works

  VSphere Documentation Centre

  If a virtual machine with obsolete tools will automatically update on a power cycle

  But the 200 who need complete installation tools stop - we need help to get a script to work / if there is one that can do this

  We can use the following to update the tools to the power cycle

  The 1st real time installation of the VMware Tools is AFAIK not possible with a PowerCLI cmdlet.

  You will need to use a method of SW distribution, that you will use to install any SW on your workstations.

  In your case, you will need to support Win and Linux machines virtual, so you will need to provide at least 2 procedures to perform the actual installation.

  I'm working on a 6 year with Dreamweaver site. This site is (example):

  The site contains many links to PDF files like:

  Over the years some of the links may contain relative links while others contain absolute links.  Obviously, if this site is moved to a new domain as:

  Archives.mysite.com

  .. .the links will be fine but the absolute links will break.  Before the site is moved to the field of archives, is it possible for me in Dreamweaver to run a link check and convert all absolute links to relative?

  If so, is there a way to do it on the server rather than the local copy of the site?  The reason why is because I don't have the entire site on my local computer.  I download only the pages that I need to edit locally, and then put back them on the server.

  Thanks for the, Tom. I missed that. However, the unexpected behavior that I have seen was when I delete the red channel, the Green and blue channels are replaced by channels Magenta and yellow and there is a change of color on the image. Turning off visibility red looks different to remove the red channel. Removal of Cyan in CMYK is visually identical to make this invisible channel.
