Is there a way to watch my favorite firefox online from any pc via a browser?

    Hello!

The short answer is no. And unfortunately there is no really long answer. Product design and the vision of Firefox Sync is to allow you to have all your information in all your browsers.

The very long answer, it's that they are some other projects on the works that will cover the case refer to: you are on a computer that is not yours and you want to access once with your home system. Unfortunately for now is just an idea.

  • Is there a way to remove the Favorites button in the menu bar?

Is there a way to remove the Favorites button in the menu bar? I use the Google toolbar to organize my favorites because Google bookmarks can be accessed from any computer and my phone. By habit, I continue to go click on the Favorites button in the menu bar in Firefox, but there is nothing there. Can I remove it? I want to talk about real "Bookmarks" option in the menu bar across the top of the window: file | Change | View | History | BOOKMARKS | Tools | Help

  • My old broken computer and the hard drive is not recoverable. Is there a way to retrieve my favorites registered via the Firefox Web site?

My old computer crashed. I took the hard drive to specialist to see if it could be salvaged, but it may not. Now I have a new computer and run Firefox. is there a way to retrieve my Firefox bookmarks and files on my new computer via the Firefox Web site?

No sorry. If Mozilla saved automatically each users personal data to their website, this would be an extreme violation of the safety of users.

There is the Firefox Sync - what is Firefox Sync - optional service which must be put in place before personal data is lost.

  • is there a way to send my favorites to me so I can use it to restore my bookmarks if I have to reimage my computer

I had a virus on my computer so I had to reimage, destroying everything and starting again. I lost all my favorites (Fortunately, I wrote them down before etc.). Is it possible to send me a file that contains my favorites, I can then use to recharge my favorites?

Yes. Actually, there are dozens of ways to do it using the 3rd party addons, applications and web-based solutions. But if you want to keep things simple and just use the built-in features of Firefox:

    1. Open your bookmark manager window by going to "Bookmarks" > "Show all bookmarks" (or just press 'shift + Apple + B').
    2. At the top of the window, you will see an icon 5-point with a small symbol of recycling on her star. (See attached screenshot). Click on that and you will see five options. Both you want are: 'backup... ". " (which creates a .json file) and "export bookmarks to HTML... ". " (which creates a .html file). You can find more info on the two options (for example when using that) here: [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Backing_up_and_restoring_bookmarks_-...]
    3. Now that you have your bookmarks a portable format, you can send the file to yourself, store it in the cloud, keep a copy on a flash drive - or whatever your preferred method of file backup / redundancy.

    Hope that helps!

  • Is there a way to save the favorite transitions?

I looked around the forum and the answer appears to be 'No', but I want to assure you that missed something before submitting a feature request.

In FCP I can save transitions custom in a Favorites folder, change their names and adjust their times and their settings. This is really useful since some transitions that I use repeatedly.

I can do all this in PP? I know that I can save effects as presets, although it does not work for Transitions. Even if I can only adjust the default length for each transition, which would be much too. (I know I can put a preference for all video transitions or audio transitions, but I don't speak a different default values for the different transitions.)

    Thank you...

None of this can still be done.

  • Is there a way to activate the addons automatically after a certain period of time

I have an addon called adblock more, when enabled, firefox takes 7 seconds to boot on my pc. When it is disabled, firefox only takes 3 seconds to start. I still want to use this addon without sacrifising startup speed of my pc. So I was wondering if there is a method that would allow me to activate the addon after the start of firefox. For example, after the startup of firefox in 3 seconds, it would allow himself in the background after 5 seconds.

No, this is not possible. All extensions must be loaded at startup. If you want to use an extension you have to accept some add more time to the start of Firefox.

My Internet EXPLORER Favorites list include several photos, text files and downloaded web pages, of which none appear when I import my Internet EXPLORER Favorites list in Firefox. Is there a way I can remember those?

    There is a work around:

Export your IE Favorites to an HTML file, and then import it into Firefox. If you have questions more do not hesitate to ask.

  • I have Windows XP Home Edition and use Outlook Express for my e-mail. Is there a way to copy/send e-mail, favorite contacts and my photos on a Flash key?

    Original title: copy files

I have Windows XP Home Edition and use Outlook Express for my e-mail. Is there a way to copy/send e-mail, favorite contacts and my photos on a Flash key?

Open the address book in the old identity and file | Export | Address book (wab) to any location on your HARD drive that is easy for you. The office is very well. Then drag that to the flash drive.

In IE: File | Import and export | Export to a file. Check Favorites | Next | Next | Navigate to a folder or the desktop and export. Drag the folder in the flash player.

For photos, just right-click on the folder and drag it to the USB and copy here.

  • Is there a way to backup/backup search engine?

Is there a way to backup/backup search engine, I collect (used in the search bar of the extreme left) as I do so I can restore when I reset or reinstall the favorite browser?

It is not as convenient as bookmarks... If you have a backup of your Firefox profile folder backup program/service, your plugins search engine is here. More specifically, you can find them as follows:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Find the searchplugins folder and copy its contents into a place course every so often.

  • Is there a way not star multiple messages instead of one at a time?

For some unknown reason, almost all the messages in my Inbox were "Favorites". I want to remove the stars before check-in. Anyone know why this could happen and is there a way to 'uncheck' several messages, instead of one at a time?

You must first select all of the messages concerned.
Click on the star at the top of this column to sort on that column.
This will place all together tracked messages. Click on the star for a 2nd time to reverse the sort if that helps.
Click on the first star message. Now go to the last message with the star and hold the SHIFT key while clicking on that. This selects all messages in this block.
One of the messages of a right-click and select Star Mark-Add

I tried restoring the system without result.

Do you want to overwrite or replace the JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder?

It's not very likely if you copied files in one archive of MozBackup to a profile.

In this case, you should be able to restore the bookmarks from the most recent backup of the JSON that has his favorites.

Perhaps you can restore a previous version of some files.

  • Is there a way to default to view ABC records?

Just updated to Firefox 8. Also just transferred all my favorites of Delicious for Firefox bookmarks. Like most aspects of the system, but when I open a folder/subfolder bookmark the bookmakrs are shown by the "date of my favorites. Order of the alphabet, I prefer because it is much easier to look things up. I tried to use the "View menu" to reorganize, but each time than the default folders to "chronological order" after I turned it off and restarted my laptop. Is there a way to 'save' the order of the alphabet? (I use Windows 7 on a laptop Compaq)

Sorting on a single folder is not recursive. This could be the difference in expectations and work or not. I thought in Netscape 3, I remember to use it to sort my favorites and then take them back to my current browser at the time...
