  I recently re-scanning of pictures that were original scanned a few years ago. Giving them the same name as the previous scanned (only with a _1 at the end), I import the newly scanned photo in the same folder (which is how to organize my photos), to be able to compare and then copy the metadata from the initial analysis to the latter. As I did not yet all signs or notation, most metadata will contain only keywords. But stored under "Metadata" in the view library, 'Capture time' is also stored, but I can't in any case among the options "copy of the metadata. Is there something that I missed, or is there a work-around somewhere?

  Hi Ole,

  You cannot copy, but edit:

  In the menu goto of the metadata module library - change the Capture time.

  If you have multiple images selected when you choose this command, you set the active image to what you enter as 'date and time specified' and others will be adjusted by the same increment. Decrement in your case, as I suppose.

  So if you want it to be exactly identical to that of the old scan, you must do it one by one for each new analysis.

  You can certainly install on your desktop. Just make sure you have the serial for Photoshop key or any Adobe product, else the app will move into the trial.

  You cannot copy the drivers installed anyway.

  Saving your files:

  You can remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive USB enclosure > plug it into another computer > and try to read and copy your data in this way.

  Yes--but with several instructions DATACOPY (one for each year of the 'target').

  You can always make your CLEARDATA in a FIX on every year, but then put the DATACOPYs after the ENDFIX.

  We will soon be moving on ESX3.5 45 virtual machines on the same network to ESX4.0 on another network.  What is the best/best way to move these files?  The original network, the files are stored locally on the server and run ESX3.5i.  However, on the other network, data warehouses are on a San and the ESX hosts are in a cluster.  Both networks are in the same physical location and can meet.  I guess I can do it from the CLI of in ESX?

  If you have two hosts in vCenter Server, you can move the virtual machines without Storage vMotion (Powered-off VMs).
  It is not necessary that both hosts have access to the San using cold migration.

  Hi guys, I have a project on a drive of my PC (drive J) that I should have put on a much faster disk (K). However I can find no way to copy the files from one disk to another. I just tried to copy all the files, but when I open the project goes on the original disc (J) to pick up all the videos files - what I don't want. Then I tried the "copy" function and economy function but no joy. I want to copy all the videos and other files so that when I open the project he's going to the new drive for everything. I also tried to copy the files and rename the original directory - I was expecting PE13 wondering where were his files but it just hung.

  Yes.

  Under the file menu is the project archiver. This copierait your project file and all its media attached to a new location. You can then delete the files from your old drive.

  Although you're on 9.3.1 options have been provided, my preference is to copy the relational/db schema, never been a fan of the copyapp utility if you have any success with it.
