  Fold half card envelopes are available in different sizes. Compare the size of the envelope that you try to print to the specifications to determine weather or not, you can print on them.

  Just download multiple files via Dropbox.  Adobe Reader will only search in a folder both a named file.  That means one must perform several searches whenever a file is necessary.  Is there a way to consolidate everything under a single folder?

  Looking for text or file name in the files? If the first, then use any application to search for files on there... There is one in each OS. If the latter, then it can be done by using the option of advanced search in the drive.

  You cannot merge files with reader (it takes Acrobat to this), but I don't think it's the solution to your problem, anyway.

When I reinstalled Windows service pack 2, the system recovery tools and several other microsoft tools not have installed on my system. Is it possible to recover these tools? Can you tell me what that means and if/how I can do this?  I can't find a tab from the system restore on my computer. I guess that's because I have more access to these tools. My messages when I try to update things like Windows Media Player tells me that I can't set a date of restoration and that if I lose my installed programs that they can not be recovered. Guess that means I have to use my recovery again disks?

  This is just another example of how Microsoft is not in contact with the real world. The other big problem that are domain with Windows 7 users is disabled profile copy. (I found a way around this one) As of today, I will not buy any more portable Windows 7 for our school district until Microsoft gets some of these problems taken care of.

  Your problem is with the Panel.Controls [] property. It does not return the controls that are inside containers (tables, tabs, groups) and returns only the container itself. As illustrated by Sam, if you want the references to the controls in the tab, you must get the references to the pages and get the controls on each page and add them to your original table and do this recursively.

  You can either write a VI to do this (or search for it. There was posted here screw that analyzes recursively the FP for all control references) or everything just statically for this control a tab and move. There is also a VI delivered with LV that can help you with this, but I suggest that you not use, because it will be difficult to operate if you generate an EXE file.

  And I also recommend the Tool of Capture of Code.

  I'm doing a vi that will allow for the modification of the values stored in an XML file.  I am able to store and retrieve XML data, but I don't have a good way to allow the user to change the data. For example in other languages I can put the value of an entry of text programmatically box when a file is opened and when the file is saved, is there a way to do this in LabView?

  Users can only manipulate controls when a VI is running.

  The value of a control can be set using a variety of methods.

  1) pop up create a local change to write. Make sure that your code limits carefully when writing that happens. Race conditions can result.

  (2) the node property value similar to Louis but use Ui thread to make changes and is less effective.

  (3) Porperty node the value even of signage as #2 but fires an event if it is registered.

  (4) control value similar to the #3, but you need to know the name.

  Why do you need this?

  A thread is simply data. It is not associated with a control.

  Similarly, a local variable is a way to access the data in a control, for not interacting with the control itself.

  Is the control of the right-click and selecting Create > reference not good enough for you?

  You can write code to get the reference to the controls connected to the cable and the the control whose desired local variable, but I feel that this is not really what you want.
