Original title: bad image.
I get two errors of bad image whenever I open a program or start a computer, for each program. the error that says "the application or DLL is not a valid windows image. "Please check this against your installation diskette" I don't have any disk and don't know what to do.
These file names, look a little suspicious and didn't get good Google search results, so I think that the first thing to do is to tell us a little about your system. Now you can enjoy when you report a problem, provide you with any error messages you see and not a part of it (not paraphrase either).
The second thing to do is to try to be reasonably sure that your system is free of malware and then if you have these problems, you can fix them (which would be the third thing to do).
I still wonder why the Microsoft Support Engineer made you reference to an article that makes no sense at all...
The first thing to do:
Unfortunately, MS Answers forums does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, so we don't know anything on your system.
Because the Microsoft Answers forum does not ask for any type of information system when a new question is asked so we don't know anything about your system. Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.
Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.
Provide information on your system, the better you can:
What is your system brand and model?
Your system have IDE or SATA disks?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
The second thing to do:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if you wish. The third thing to do:Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

The Application or DLL C;\program~1\Google\Google~1\Google62~1.DLL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. I get this message all the time that I can still use my computer, but it is very annoying, I'd be very grateful for the help!
Scan your computer with Malwarebytes. Get rid of AVG and get the free version of Avast (free if you can afford it). Get rid of Iobit. It doesn't help. Get rid of the advanced system of care. It will do more harm than good.

RAR files are not more likely to contain a virus or Malware any that any other file. (Assuming that you are not running a decent AV program).
Read about RAR files here and you can download the RAR Extractor free Frog.

I try to add a program to the Windows Firewall exceptions list. When I go to control configuration\systeme and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed programs, I discovered that there were not all of the programs listed.
If I click on the "Edit settings" button, it becomes grey and nothing happens. I am the Admin so I should have access to it. When I click on the button "Allow another program", any program, I am trying to add will give me an error message saying "firewall cannot add Windows ' [program]" to the list of exceptions.
This has happened recently. I was able to add programs to the list of exceptions before.
Thanks for the reply.

Good so I bought a Dell Inspiron of the 620 years for the game and I had to reinstall Windows 7 on a drive I ordered from dell. So I reinstalled Windows 7 and now I have a lot of problems. So first of all it seems very strange, the taskbar is not transparent and all the buttons are very weird. Also, there are no programs in the start menu. Secondly, it is said there is no Internet connection available, but I plugged in everything. I can also connect to the Internet on other PCs as my laptop. Any help is necessary, because I really want to return to the game. :)
Hello
When you reinstall the operating system, you must obtain the latest drivers for Windows 7 Support of Dell.
Go to this link for your model, and then select the operating system > and then select the correct chart, drivers etc. :
http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/product/Inspiron-620s
For network adapter drivers, you can use the computer you are about to post here to go to the link above of Dell > download and save the software drivers for the office > transfer using a Flash drive and install it on the problem machine.
Then use your game machine to get the rest.
And here's how to reinstall using a disc from Dell:
"How manually reinstall Windows 7 on a Dell computer.
You will need
- Dell operating system installation disc
- Dell Resource CD/DVD (also available on the page Dell drivers and downloads )
- Any software and/or the documentation of your connection to the internet service
- Any application install disks
- All install disks for external (such as a printer) and added to your Dell devices after the purchase of internal devices
See you soon.

Is there a compatibility mode for existing Windows programs running on Windows RT?
Is there a compatibility mode to run my existing on RT windows programs
There are two variants:
Windows 8 - this runs on processors traditional x 86 - x 64 for Intel and AMD, and the same apps that runs on Windows 7, Vista, and Windows XP.
Windows RT - built on the same basis as Windows 8, it works on a different processor called ARM and not running programs in Windows 7, Vista, or Windows XP. Also, comes with Microsoft Office 2013 while Windows 8 does not work. It only comes on the new devices, in contrast to Windows 8 you can buy a license for an existing computer.
A possible work around, you can connect to your remote programs on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows 8:

How to re-check the author of system Windows programs?
I'm having a strange problem in Windows 7. Normally, when you run a Windows program that came with the operating system (such as the registry editor), you receive the dialog box UAC indicating the name of the program and verified Publisher which is usually Microsoft Windows. However, when I run any Windows program in administrator mode, I get the name of the file as the name of the program (e.g., regedit.exe, not the registry editor) and the Publisher is unverified, which leads me to believe that something is wrong with Windows 7. Yet once, it is a very annoying problem, but how to fix this?
I'm not positive, but go to control panel > programs and features > view installed updates and search for KB3004394. If you find this update, uninstall it and see if the problem goes away. Otherwise, you can always go back to Windows Update and download the patch again.

I have several systems in my computer in windows xp. I can't use the most. can I get an update to fix these issues.
Hello
· Are which Windows programs you referring?
· Were you able to remove the virus from the computer?
· What anti-virus program do you use?
Please provide us with more information about the programs that are the source of the problems. Meanwhile, I also suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft security on your computer Scanner and check if that helps:
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

Only the news I get is an information box stating:
"Windows Update cannot currently check updates, because the service is not running." You may have to restart your computer. »
I checked that the service is running, and a process is running in the Task Manager.
I have downloaded and run Microsoft Fix, it is said that it fixed the problem, but didn't.
I cloned my old drive and installed my new drive in my laptop. It seems that there is no update history transferred when cloning, there is no history of updates now.
Separated from the:
Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself. The 'leftovers' Norton may be causing the problem. Roll up your sleeves & cross your fingers...
[You can print these instructions for reference offline. If a step said to reboot, reboot! ]

I tried several times to get a solution to this problem. There is a program running in the background on my computer. It blocks my mouse and I can even hear a clatter, as when you connect a camera to your computer, or disconnect. My computer has been analyzed by microsoft help and support was in my computer several times, and accomplished yet nothing worked. Sometimes my mouse freezes every few seconds until it is maddening.
original title: hopelessIt seems that you have tried a number of bugs so far without success. Here are some suggestions of what I'm going to try:
You mentioned a background current program, if it helps:
Perform a clean boot to determine if background programs interfere with your game or program
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/331796How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135Don't forget to follow step 7: reset the computer to start as usual in the link above to return the computer to normal startup.
I would also check the updates for your video card driver. Find the latest Windows Vista drivers for your specific computer model with the support site for your computer manufacturer. Be sure to get the right drivers for your specific version of Windows Vista, for example, 32-bit or 64-bit.
If your mouse is a USB model, it can be useful to check the latest drivers for your motherboard (chipset) Vista to the support site for the manufacturer of the computer. Also, since you're here you can check for the other updated drivers for your system, i.e., audio, LAN (network), etc.
Computer manufacturers
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/contact-support/computer-manufacturersIf you have the graphics card Intel integrated, you can check on the website below:
Update utility graphics card Driver Intel
http://www.Intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphicsIf you have a dedicated graphics card, you will need to check with the card manufacturer, the two most often used are linked below:
NVIDIA driver downloads
http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-usAMD (ATI) drivers & Software graphics card
http://support.AMD.com/us/GPUDOWNLOAD/pages/index.aspxIf you have not done so, see the support site of the manufacturer of the mouse for the Vista updated drivers, known issues with your specific models or known solutions.
An element that may cause unpredictable problems that are extremely difficult to identify are (live RAM) memory errors, Windows Vista has a built-in for system RAM check utility:
How will I know if my computer has a memory problem?
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/how-do-I-know-if-my-computer-has-a-memory-problemHow to use the Windows Vista memory diagnostic tool
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/using-Vista-Windows-Memory-Diagnostics-tool/To perform a more complete test is the use of Memtest86 but is more complex, includes the creation of a CD bootable for the test, it is not really something for difficult burn an .iso file downloaded to a blank disc (available in the free download link) and then boot from the CD.
Memtest86
http://www.Memtest86.com/I hope that something of the above can help lead you to a solution.
