  Hello luckyduck, as is the case with xmarks too, the overwhelming majority of the addons is not created by mozilla, but by independent third-party developers. so if you want to know if it is planned an extension for firefox on android porting or have other requests for features, please communicate with the developers involved directly in order to get a better answer.   The padlock shows only that there is a secure connection and does not guarantee that you are connected to the right server. So you could always be connected to the wrong server if you make a typing mistake in the URL and someone said that mistyped the URL. The lock feature has been replaced by the identity button of the Site on the left end of the address bar (address).

  I noticed in the last few months that would save a number of bookmarks in the toolbar or bookmarks menu. When I closed firefox and then returned to his bookmarks were not there.   I have a few search engines in the search bar of firefox. I find it extremely annoying that whenever I have change the search engine, that it stays like this, even after restarting firefox. Is there an add-on that would go to the one who is at the top of the list (which is my default for search engine being both navigation bar) whenever I restart the browser?

  Let me give you an example: I use duckduckgo as a search engine by default in the search bar and navigation bar. Let's say I need to find a definition for which I use the wikipedia search engine. Then I go to wikipedia one. I disable the browser the next time I start firefox search engine that appears in the search bar is wikipedia and I would have preferred it to be duckduckgo.

  Easier is to put the default engine for search engine preferred via the user.js file in the Firefox profile folder by copying the line user_pref() related to this file.

  The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

  There are no versions of Firefox for iPad because Apple won't allow competing web engines on their iOS devices. Until they change this policy it will never be Firefox on iOS.

• Updated Firefox updated to its latest version 12.0. Now my plugin Adobe Flash freezes and blocks all websites when it is turned on even if it's the latest version.

  If it was your firewall asking you the weather to allow firefox to connect so you can change that in windows7 by going to start > Control Panel > system and security. Under Firewall, click on allow a program through windows firewall.

  If you cannot run all firefox, go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

  Firefox should run.
