  One of the managers of the company put into service a user AD directly on the AD server.

  I think you are talking after upgrade to CC 2015 you're not able to launch I. Also, I believe you speak for read only matter of preference.

  After following the instructions please do not launch Illustrator and check your file preference if the permissions have been set correctly. A good way would be to get inside the preferences folder and then try to create a file manually. If it succeeds, please write to [email protected]

  Very well... Figured it out.

  Start > Device Manager > graphics cards
  I saw there are a few things in here, one being "Air Display Adapter.
  Air is an application that allows you to use your iPad as a second monitor.
  I right click on it, click 'disable' and restarted. Everything is good in the world.
  According to me, the issue was the last round of Windows updates to update my video card drivers and Air screen only plays nice with drivers updated.

  If you are tunneling the connection then yes users will be disconnected.  If not then used users ' be achieved (other that new users will not be able to connect to the VCS).

  If you have several VCS depends on how balance you workloads.  Best case, you can restart a VCS at a time, and no one will notice, the worst case a percentage would notice (but only if they are connection when restarting).
