  Y at - it an easy way to filter a 2D table based on the values of one of the fields. In my attached VI the output array has the following format:

  I would like to delete all lines that do not have an "Ident" between the values of 3AD00000 and 3AD0001E. So for the data above the fourth row would be removed. The only way I can see to do this is to form a 1 d table. Is there a better approach?

  After you've sorted your data, you can use the function InRange. Combined with a "search in 1 table D", you get the range you really want.

  Every day I receive several documents to edit and to each, there is a page where I enter the date 3 times. The file come with me so I can't do the thing in javascript, others spoke. I just go to tools, add text (date) and then use the hand for copy/paste tool. However, since for some reason hand tool that she pours just in the middle of the screen and I have to drag it to the area I need, I found it faster just to keep clicking and typing in the date I need.

  A faster way may be to click and paste instead of paste and drag.

  1. right click on the page, then select "add text".

  2. click on the place where you want to enter.

  3. Paste (Ctrl/Cmd + V)

  Bassically I want to add text to a chain control / indicator without losing the formatting of the previous text.

  For a part of a program that I create, data will be transmitted to and from a serial device. I want to display this data in a chain control / indicator and change the color of the text of certain strings depending on data type (sent, received). Basically as a nice log window.

  

  At the moment, I update the chain control / indicator by reading the text and concatenated with the new string. However, this method removes the colors of previous text :-(

  Is it possible to add data to the control of the chain / indicator without losing the text previous formatting?

  I started to create a sub vi who reads a text both character and adds a new element in an array (offset color and text), if the color is distinguished by the previous character. Only problem is it seems to be quite time CPU.

  Actually, no. This means that you will have to use workarounds. Your workaround solution seems a bit involved. Basically, all you need to do is just to keep track of the pairs of end start/selection selection that must be colored in a table. Then just you loop in this table to color the text marked by the power positions.

  An alternative is to use a different indicator. Rather than an indicator of the string, you can use a table with a column. You can then set the foreground color on a cell by cell basis, and add a new line (row) will not affect the coloration of the previous lines.

  To my knowledge, Microsoft does not provide a program to find duplicate files.  There are many 3rd party freeware programs that will provide this function.  Never trust a program to delete automatically a file duplicate, because it would be difficult for a program to know which file is the critical place and what file is just a backup.  The best they can do is show you the duplicates and let you decide which ones to remove.  One of these freeware programs is "Duplicate File Finder"

• Is there an easy way to create a table of contents in an actual table?

  I checked the forums and google and all the examples to create a table of contents just shows that he is in a paragraph format. I tried this, and then by converting the text in a table, but whenever I update the table of contents it converts it to text. This is a minor annoyance but a big problem with the fact in this way is the table that is made is without header. (I tried to use two cell styles, a header and one for the body and their distribution inside the table style, but it don't seem to work converting the text.)

  Well, you can add the race with cell styles. The number of columns in the tables are there? If it is an odd number, it is possible to move the title to the Center lettreN with a tab character or two, but for the same count I don't see an option to merge cells in the header row.

  As for frustration - the solution is to take the time to learn how to use pictures - it's a new and different program that, like all new software, does not exactly work as pref = vious PHotos and software has a learning curve - until you take the time to learn how to use it you will continue to be frustrated because you will be with any new product tha tyou don't understand

  I have two users say that A and B. If I go the long way via the 'Go' menu > 'Computer', I ended up being told to contact my computer or the network administrator for assistance. Both users are admin one and file sharing is allowed in system preferences... I have to admit that I use 10.9.5 because my MacBook Pro would not work with OS Xs national parks.

  Any ideas would be cool because I'm sure that it used to work fine with "Snow Leopard" without being connected to the internet - or should I just send an email to myself and recover the files on the other user :-) to recover my USB is

  There were some cases where the new indicator that I created was actually overlaps the other indicator which was hidden at the time of development.

  I knew only when the program is operating normally and the hidden indicator will appear on the front panel.

  It would be great if I can see all the elements of hidden façade while in development mode.

  Is there an easy way to do this or am I missing something?
