  I don't think it's at all possible. It may be a limitation on multicam works. Because it does not really separating clips, there is no way for AE determine who is actually used currently. I guess, you would insert the relevant extract as a separate sequence to get this working...

• Rough Cut created as a prelude with transitions, sent to first Pro works then, using 'replace with After Effects comp', loses the transitions. Why?

  With the help of Creative Cloud 2015 apps exclusively on a 64-bit win 8.1 Pro Gigabyte MB 8 core AMD pcu with 16 GB of ram and nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card. I deleted all the cache and restarted.

  Created a simple Rough Cut in prelude routinely using H.264 in mp4 video and still photos from format of (via Media Encoder) components ingested in prelude ~

  Rough Cut, composed of a sequence of 1 always followed by 4 x 3 second mp4 followed by another still followed by 4 more 3 second MP4, total length of 30 seconds.

  Together, then the default prelude "Cross dissolve" transition between each item in the first edit.

  Successfully sent this first edit in Premiere Pro using the menu option integrated prelude - send to first.

  Works like a charm in Premiere Pro, including cross-fade transitions.

  First transitions don't come in After Effects. They never have. Your workflow is not compatible with dynamic link. You should use AE to create shots and then change these shots in Premiere Pro. Trying to bring in a sequence which was finalized with effects and transitions is a losing proposition and not recommended.

  If so, is there a Script that will add handles defined by the user at the end of the clips that are sent to AE via Dynamic Link.

  I had the situation to do a rough edit and apply transitions between adjacent clips and by selecting the item and choose "New Composition AE doing" only to have the new model AE trucate actly like in the clip is dug in Pre Pro track and executives who were part of the driveway transition.

  I did a few tests and all the clip extensions that add you in AEFX do not reflect agency it is. you receive all the handles!

  IM happy with the other version (No-2014), but I don't seem to have the same option to replace the clip with a comp consequences in this version

  Ann is right in saying that Replace with Clip is not the same as the dynamic link. This option is Replace with After Effects Composition...

  Since no cutting is selected in the Project Bin, the Replace with Clip option is not highlighted. Select any item in the project Panel to enable the option.

  Replace with After Effects Composition is available in first Pro CC at the bottom of this Menu, which is in your screenshot.

  Those who are not first type effects in the Vimeo video, those are After Effects. There are tons of models online free or inexpensive and you just plug-in YOUR video and graphics clips and get these high-end animated looks like.

• Premiere Pro 2015.3 problems after update 2015.2

  I'll have a lot of problems after the update to 2015.3.  It is a project which worked perfectly well, a few days ago on 2015.2 (or whatever the previous version was).  Now, audio is de-energized, it does not play smoothly, and everything hangs after a few minutes - I can't move the timeline, it does not meet the up/down keys to navigate to the previous/next item, it is totally insensitive.  Everything worked well until the update to 2015.3.

  I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a 6-core i7 Extreme with 24 GB of RAM and a Quadro 4000 (v354.35).  I have a 500GB SSD for Windows and the creative cloud, 2 TB RAID 0 HDs for swap/cache/work/etc., 1 TB HD for project files, 2GB RAID 0 video source HDs, 1 GB HD for video output (5 logical volumes, 7 physical disks).  This system has flown before installing 2015.3.

• Premiere Pro CS6 crashes immediately after opening

All I get is a message saying Windows this program has stopped working and then just exit out. No first error message. I then decided to open the project file, its opening and creation has not crashed. I imported the clips, no problem. I selected a clip to start editing, and first crashes everything as he has done before. If this problem happens with the TWO CS6 first Pro and After Effects CS6. With After Effects, I get the error message: After Effects error: current Crash. Last logged message was: 4224 > < ae.blitpipe > < 2 > make new context.   Unable to launch fully is often related to the video driver. I'd go to AMD/ATI, check your video driver installed. If not the most recent, then download and install it. Note: there are a few problems with some of the latest drivers from AMD/ATI (especially in the PS CS6 forum), then it might be necessary to roll-back to a previous video driver.

  If this isn't the cause, in your case, then you have come to the less ruled out one of the main causes.

  Try disabling the AMD card from Device Manager > display adapters and check if it works.

  Also, go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

  Try to rename amdocl64.dll to old_amdocl64.dll and check that it works.

  I'm working on my first project with Premiere Pro 2015 and after that almost any edit I make the system seems to freeze for ranging from 15 to 45 seconds before I can read my sequence and find the edition that I did.
