  Check that your antivirus (all-in-one suite If you have one) is not turn off your network traffic.

  Note the devices installed in the machine.  Use this information to download the latest version of the drivers and software for the manufacturer's Web site features (on another machine and store on an external support, I suppose, would be the only way for you to do.)

  Uninstall the software/drivers for network devices.  Turn it back on.  Even if pilots are found/installed automatically, manually update the drivers & software using the files you downloaded earlier.

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)

  Earlier this year, I ordered a HDX18t provided with a HL CT10L (SATA) blu - ray player but now I would like to swap out for a HL GBW-B10N burner blu - ray, which is also SATA, the question is how can I do to do this? On my previous laptop Dell I could do it very quickly but I'm not sure how to do it on this one and I don't want to break anything. I have to take the bottom completely off first? Should I just unscrew a few screws? Any help will be much appreciated.

  Currently, there is a problem with end users not being able to get this empty housing to recognize a M.2 WSSD drive added after delivery to the details of the laptop. Technically, the trying to jeopardize the warranty but who never stops the hard core of the valuation.   I have a MacBook Air running El Capitan, purchased 3/2016. I bought the optical drive when I bought the computer. I used the external drive to burn DVDs and CDs. Everything worked fine until I plugged the optical drive yesterday. I opened iTunes, plugged the disc inserted a cd and the window showing that I inserted the cd never popped up. The finder does not display the drive, even though I checked in preferences to show him. The only way I could safely remove the cd was going to disk utility where I could see the disc and the cd and eject it.

  I checked to make sure that the drive still works by inserting a DVD or CD in the optical drive. The two will play correctly, but I still have to go back into the disk utility to eject because the drive does not appear anywhere else.

  Your PC is already using a bootloader of Windows 8 and if you load the SSD in UEFI mode, then you will add an another boot loader of Windows 8 for the menu eligible boot device.  This will lead to confusion.  I suggest that you avoid this situation by trying the following procedure:

  1. Don't forget to create the external HP recovery media
  2. Install the SSD on port 1 or 2
  3. Disable startup secure in the BIOS and set the legacy mode
  4. Start the Intel OPROM and rebuild the matrix RAID 5
  5. Boot into the BIOS and UEFI mode
  6. Start the external HP recovery media and load the SSD drive (SSD recommended size is 240 GB or more)
  7. Once you are currently running and then go to disk management and upward and format the matrix RAID like TPG

  The above procedure may or may not work, but that's what I would first try.
