Power PC speed legitimate? Is this software legitimate or not?
My boss has found an application called speed of Power PC running on his computer. I found a post of this forum ask questions if this software is virus/malware or not. There was a response, but he spoke only removing and never answered the original question. I worry because there is a web site for this company on the web site, it shows the company as being a Microsoft partner. So the question is... Is this software legitimate or not? Thank you
I suspect that this is not the virus, but it is also useless.

Is this a legitimate warning?
I received a window full-screen www.windowslivetechsupport/sv/indexusj.php?engsec=6&p_id=1003. Is this a legitimate warning?
Hello
Sounds like a SCAM. Was it a PopUp on a web page? If so, ignore him.
If you run the scanner, it is trying to load it will only lie to you about possible
threats and hijack your computer. Even pay because it will not remove from your
computer. When you get one of these its best simply close this window of IE.

It is an example of what can happen if you allow one of these type programs.

I installed the update of muse 2014.3 original adobe 20 days ago. This morning (06/03/2015), I had another notification of a Muse 2014.3 update version. Is this a legitimate update. I got it on both my home computers and work. I am reluctant to download. I know a company that did a download from Adobe that has completely messed up their system.

See the link above, there were a few bugs in the launch of 2014.3, this update fix.

This is supposed to be a thing where if you buy a new computer, you can switch to Windows 8 when it comes out for $14.99. When I try to go on the site, I get a popup saying that Firefox crashes due to a certificate problem. Is this a secure site? Here is the site showing the ad. http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Home. The ad reads "Windows 8 for $14.99. I don't understand why I can't access the site. I just bought a new computer (not the one I'm using now) from Best Buy and it should benefit from this. Can someone explain?
Peace,

Legitimate website inaccessible
I'm trying to access a website from home. This site should give me the opportunity to complete some of my work of office required at home. I work for the veteran's Administration. I keep getting the message that this site is not accessible. Other workers are apparently able to enter this Web site. It is a legitimate Web site. I tried to turn off my section SOPHOS antivirus which blocks bad sites and that has not worked. Thank you.
You can access it from other devices on your home network? If this is not the case, contact your ISP.

Email/invoice for Apple Music composition, do not know if this is legitimate or a scam
Randomly, I received two emails today stating that I will be charged £19.99 for a membership of Apple's music that I didn't sign for, I've never even heard of Apple's music.
I will insert a screenshot of the email below:
Initial points that made me a thing, it was not an official email apple was the "Apple TM Inv." on the line. When I click on this email address who sent me it shows as: [email protected]
ALL my bills have never came 'Apple' and the email address: [email protected]
And also, I do not know someone called Mark, nor do I know anyone who owns an ipod / I don't have an ipod I
I followed the guide on how to see/Manage my subscriptions, instead of clicking on the link in the email, and it doesn't have a subscription on my account.
I'm sure it's a scam, this look like my recent bills but not the same thing. However, I would like to be sure so that money does not come from my account. Any help is appreciated
Also, I apologize if this is in the wrong category, none of them seemed to fit my problem in the slightest

Original title: I will take a phone call from "Windows Care" telling me that my computer was sending Windows messages. He wanted to access my computer to solve the problem. Is anyone aware of this company?
Does anyone got a call from 213-221-3528 "Windows Care"? I received a phone call from "Windows Care" telling me that my computer was sending Windows messages. I had some problems with error messages saying that there is an unknown device on my computer. The care Windows person wanted access to my computer to solve the problem. I would not grant him permission until I have check this. Everyone is aware of this company and it is legitimate?
It is most certainly NOT legitimate. There are a great many scams running right now, in many countries around the world, with similar claims. None of them believe. Microsoft never call unless you called first and made arrangements for a recall to work.

Hi Michael,
I know its off topic, but when you have complex web needs using dreamweaver, but if you have the graphic designer background best is muse (no code just do and play).

This thing keeps coming up that I can't log into my blog admin panel. I downloaded the file, but the smalls as malware. «License agreement of the software from the Adobe «is a bunch of writing in a language of a forign.»» What is c? When I click 'Skip',..., the image disappears and nothing happens.
Yes, it looks like a fake popup. Adobe would never use Times New Roman in a dialog box. It's all sans serif around here.
Seriously, do not have pop-up ads or links in the email. Navigate to the developer site and download the software it always manually.
For Flash Player, you can go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to get an authentic installation program.
For Google Chrome on all platforms and Internet Explorer and Edge under Windows 8 and higher, Flash Player is a built-in component of the browser, so there is nothing separate to install or update. If a website says that Flash is not installed on these targets, most of the time that it is because the logic of Flash detection Web site is wrong, or it's a malicious actor trying to entice you to download malware (and in some cases, make you pay for the privilege first...).
Please do you a favor and update Flash Player automatically. Keep the Flash, your browser and your operating system automatically updated is your best line of defense against malicious software by 2015. The occasional embarrassment incurred when things break is a small price to pay compared to the pain of identity theft and fraud. The landscape of the thread has changed, and the philosophies behind avoiding updates are really difficult to sustain at this stage.
