Is - this Windows 7 that freezes the cs5 first?

I'm quite new here and I looked at the subjects regarding the freeze ups but I don't see anything that looks like my problem. I hope that someone had the same problem and fixed random freeze ups when editing on first CS5. This is a recent construction and I tested it on Vista 64 and it works like a champ! So my question is, is Win 7 64 bit more unstable? Like Vista Win7 64 bit needs to be optimized?

Here are the build:

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with recent updates

Editing software: first CS5 (recent update 5.03)

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth x 79 LGA2011 with recent driver of chip

CPU: Intel Core i-7 3960 3.3 ghz (not overclocked)

CPU Cooler : Corsair H70 Hydro CORE liquid CPU cooler

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB PC12800 DDR3 1600 MHz 4 x 4

Hard drive: Seagate Momentus XT 750 gb 2.5 "SATA 6 GB/7200 RPM/32 MB

Disk storage: 1 TB SATA HD 7200 / 64 MB/SATA - 6 G x Seagate 2 in RAID 0

Graphics card : ASUS GeForce GTX 570 1280 MB GDDR5 PCIe II DirectCU (with the recent driver update)

DVD ROM: ASUS 12 X Blu Ray writer retail

Power supply: Corsair TX650 650W 80 V2 Series Enthusiast + Bronze

Most of the things I change is MTS.and MOV. my Canon 7 d and Canon HFS200

Any help would be appreciated.

I was not able to open the window that shows the operation of Defrag in action to get an idea of how bad is the State of my PC Defragmenter.

Is it Vista? How can I open it?

    Hello

Vista does not have this option which was under XP to see the progress of the defragmentation.

Please read this response of mine who helped another person in these Forums:

The Vista defrag works quietly in the background without intervention on your part

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/942092

In Windows Vista, there are a lot of improvements in the defrag engine and handling of fragmentation. By default, Windows Vista uses Task Scheduler to automatically keep the defragmented hard drive. This Automatic defragmentation does not affect the performance of the Windows Vista operating system...

If you want to use a much better defragmentation program which is free and where you can see the results, I suggest this one:

  • KB3057839 breaks the windows services that run the GUI programs

For reasons of inheritance, one of our tracks to windows service applications a 3rd party tool which is a graphical application in general. but also has command line switches to run in batch mode. The 3rd third party provider does not (and will not) provide a lot of command line application that is stand-alone/separated from the GUI, which leaves us with no alternative at the moment.

So far, this approach has worked on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2 - regardless of the registry setting 'NoInteractiveServices' in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows.

But since the installation of the KB3057839 (which relates to the MS15-061) this approach has stopped working and caused the application GUI stuck, to consume 100% of one heart. The only way to get the old behavior is the following:

    1. Change NoInteractiveServices to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows to the value '0' (Windows 8 and later versions; Windows 2012 and later only)
    2. Start the UI0Detect Service ("Interactive Service detection"), defining eventually it starts automatically. and according to the other settings the same set up a recurring task to restart the service (because it stops after a while).

As soon as UI0Detect is running, the application GUI thaws and works as expected; but also long UI0Detect is running. And since the application GUI does not in fact all the message boxes or similar which require user input, this is the kind of a workaround longshot.

Uninstallation of KB3057839 Gets the old behavior back, but I doubt that this should be the recommended way of going. And after a search, users also have many problems with this patch.

We checked on a virtual machine that has been reset to a snapshot prior to installation (where the intended behavior is always given); installation of KB3057839 breaks, and arranges the uninstallation of KB3057839 once again.

Is this behavior with the installation of KB3057839, or is it a bug/pervert of the fix MS15-061 effect?

    Hello world!
I have recently (last Saturday) purchased a new HP laptop with Windows 7 installed. The computer is now going through the standard (I guess they are standard) updates for Windows and successfully completed several rounds of them. Last night after having turned it off the computer began another series of updates, with 14 in the total bundle. She started 1 of 14 around 20:00 and started 4 of 14 at 22:30. From 08:30 the next morning, he was still on 4 of 14.
Is this an update that takes 12 hours to install, or is there another problem causing my computer to not to go beyond the update? I found no way to bypass the update or cancel it.

Important: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Audio problem with WIndows 8 OS of the beats on the Pavilion DV6-6109tx

Hello! First of all, my apologies if I posted in the wrong section or the bad, hp support forum do not know where to post.

Now, coming to the point, encircled sliders Beats Audio Control Panel do not work as shown in the attached snapshot, makes no difference at all.

Since I couldn't find Windows 8 drivers for my laptop model (very strange since I saw older models, getting divers to windows 8, but not my model), I tried different drivers but none of them work.
These are audio driver packages I've tried:
    sp58226.exe

    sp59154.exe
    sp59861.exe

Without these parameters of non-working is terrible.

So if anyone can help me, I'll be really grateful.

    Thank you.

Just to note, it does not appear that this unit has been certified for Windows 8.

This site gives an idea of what to expect during the upgrade to Windows 8.

The only step I can recommend at this stage is to install the driver of Windows 7 BEATS being related to the driver software audio compatibility mode.

    1. Download this driver.

    2. run the download when it's over. Follow the instructions and you should get a screen that asks you where to save the files. The default value must be c:\swsetup\sp55094. Take note of the destination on the screen. Click next and must complete the extraction process.

    3. after extraction, it opens a new window for installation. Cancel this window.
Navigate to the folder of extraction.

    4. in this folder, find the real Installer. This is usually setup.exe. Right click on this file and select troubleshoot compatibility.

    5. follow the resolution of compatibility issues by selecting automatic options.

    6. one of the Setup screens will be a button for test program. Click here to begin the installation.

    7. Once completed, it must be installed in compatibility mode.

This will give the best chance of success. If it does not, then it's a deeper problem of compatibility as Windows 8 driver architecture is different from Windows 7.
