• ravpn problem

  I created a ravpn on tha ASA 8.0 (4)(resently upgraded).

  Customers can connect properly, but they are unable to ping the network inside of the asa.

  I've included the vpn pool on the no nat-access list.

  What I've observed, it's that when I ping of the asa, the raclients, he succeeded!

  I just figured out what is the cause of this problem: InDesign can export a story as an InCopy assignment if this story was wrong with items marked, so if someone followed this thread or even in the face of this problem, check your xml file has all the start and end tags.   This morning when I woke up, I saw a pop up saying ple ID was used to connect in another part of the world. I don't know her so I clicked to change my password immediately. Hours later, I got a strange email on my account and click on it to see what email address was before clicking on a link and it certainly isn't Apple. When these two things that happened on the same day, is that pop up that I received this morning legitimate? I'm afraid now that a conditioned hacker pop in my phone to see my account information. Note, I'm 10 IOS and my phone did not have a jailbreak done. I could be over reacting, but due to my acct seen my CC on file, I want to be sure I'm safe.

• Malware/Strange in library folders

  This isn't for me, but a friend, I'm helping to clean his Macbook Pro to malware.

  I read the previous discussions that detail step by step how to remove Vsearch and other files of the LaunchAgents and the LaunchDaemons folders in the library, but it is still getting pop up of ads (she runs ad-block on Chrome) for Offers4u, and it becomes embedded links of high Deal.

  You have installed one or more variants of the Trojan "VSearch. Please inactivate them as follows. This procedure leaves a few small files behind, but they have no effect, and trying to delete all them would be much more trouble that it's worth.

  This malware has many variations. Anyone else find that this comment should not expect that it is applicable.

  Back up all data before proceeding.

  Step 1

  VSearch variant you regenerates itself if you try to remove it when it is run. To remove it, you must first start in safe mode temporarily disable the malware.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for other instructions.

  Step 2

  When running in safe mode, load the web page and then triple - click anywhere in the line below to select:

  /Library/LaunchDaemons

  In the Finder, select

  Go ▹ go to the folder...

  from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

  A folder named "LaunchDaemons" will open. Press command-2 key combination to select the display of the list, if it is not already selected.

  There should be a column in the update Finder window. Click this title two times to sort the content by date with the most recent at the top. Please don't skip this step. Files that belong to an instance of VSearch will have the same date of change for a few minutes, then they will be grouped together when you sort the folder this way, which makes them easy to identify.

Click the Advanced button, and then select Proxies in the sheet that drops down. Uncheck that Auto Discovery Proxy if it is checked. Click OK, then apply, then close the window.

  Step 6

  This step is optional. Open the users and groups in the system preferences and click on the lock icon to unlock the settings. In the list of users, there may be one or more with random names that have been added by the malware. You can remove these users. If you are not sure whether a user is legitimate, do not delete it.

  I guess that the Tecra A10 does not support these updates.
  The 2nd SATA controller does not seem to support the additional HDD instead of ODD.

  But I've read a few things to get such2nd as recognized HARD drive.
  You must start the laptop without the HARD drive caddy in ODD Bay.
  After that the Windows system has started, you can plug/connect the HARD drive caddy and system PnP service should recognize the new device.

  I think this isn't the best solution, but it seems like it s the only way to get this HDD caddy recognized in the Bay of the STRANGE

  I noticed that under certain conditions, an array of real numbers is represented very strangely on the HP50g.

  The situation is, I have my polar coordinates to the value and I create an array of real numbers using ARRY->.

  For example, in the RPN, I put 1, 2 and 3 on the stack, type 3 and then use the command ARRY, telling the calculator that I intend to create a table of 3 elements by using the 3 previous values on the stack->.

  Just a wild guess: does still happen after running the CASCFG command, which resets the CASE settings to their default values?  I tried many settings of the indicator and have not been able to reproduce the behavior you describe, but I still think it's a flag setting causing your trouble.  Unless you have an installed library that changes the display, whereby the Paris are open.

• Strange problem on my Satellite L40-139

  I've been strugling with a problem for a while now, and I don't have a lot of aid assistance. Its like my new Toshiba has a memory problem, but I don't know if its caused by Windows Vista or if its HW related.

  This is what happens:

  2. the CPU is has a 533 Mhz FSB and Ram a 667 Mhz FSB (should be only a problem if the Ram is slower than the CPU). Memtest says they are OK.
  3 Vista has an error which allows to not release the memory again, but it stacks up just up until the error occurs.
  4. the fact that there is a flaw in my CPU or chipset.

  If its 4, the Toshiba has a program so I can test it?

  The problem has been there since I bought one even with th initial Ram inserted.

  You are not alone with this. You won't believe me, but it happens on my two laptops. I use more Satellite M70 with WXP and Satellite P200D with Vista Home Premium. This strange issue with IE7 arrives on two laptops.

  I know with certainty that at the beginning M70 I didn t notice this problem. As you know anytime a Microsoft automatic update and maybe a few patches is responsible for this. Sorry, but I don't know what we can do. Only solution is to close IE7 and IE7 end process running in Task Manager.

  Just for example: I tested it with Opera browser and there is no problem at all. If you want you can test also.

• Satellite L500-1XL - strange Windows 7 error - hardware failure or virus?

  I am running windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite L500-1XL.

  About 6 weeks, Windows refuses to load.
  I would get the "Toshiba" screen, then on startup of Windows startup, but then nothing else than a black screen with an icon of the mouse (mobile).

  I could not in safe mode, and Toshiba built in recovery utility would not work.
  "Even using the Toshiba ' product recovery" DVD did nothing, even if the drive was some strange, repetitive clicks for this, so I suspected a faulty hard drive. (Possibly where the MBR has been OK, but the data weren't?)

  In any case, I put in a replacement HARD drive (backups are a wonderful thing BTW!) and DVD recovery charge perfectly and everything seemed fine.

  About 2 weeks later, I had the same problem
  ("Toshiba" Windows startup splash screen, but then nothing but a black screen with a mouse (mobile), no safe mode icon; no recovery utility)

  This time, however the product recovery DVDs worked fine first time.

  Another 2 weeks and the same problem will reoccur; This time, it took another HARD disk for the recovery media to work.

  So my question is, really, what could be causing this anomaly?

  Would it be a virus which is corrupt something that is preventing Windows from loading? And the 'prevention' so that I can not load even the recovery utilities?

  In this case might it also prevent the loading product recovery DVD?

  Or am I looking at an intermittent fault with the connector on the HARD drive that can be either physically damage the drive or at least prevent it from loading?

  In my experience, the data on the HARD drive can be affected by different software.
  In my case, the data on the HARD drive was corrupted, because the 3rd party software changed some files and the master boot record is damaged.
  I formatted the HARD drive and created new partitions.

  I also use the CCleaner and I defragment the HARD disk several times in the week.
  Since the HARD drive and the data are ok and didn t notice such symptoms more.
