ISO of Windows 8 N need (several editions)

I had windows Pro 8, N x 64 installed on my PC, but I had to replace the hard drive and lost my installation. I don't have the ISO and impossible to find a place to get the ISO from Microsoft. Is there a way I can get it from Microsoft?

MSDN keys are retail licenses, well, what you originally downloaded was Windows 8 N, which is for Europe. I think that Windows 8 ' n and editions of "n" not use unique product keys, so unless you can connect in MSDN I think its safe to say that, indeed, you are out of luck.

Original title: Microsoft Virtual PC question regarding the installation of Vista.

    Hello

There is no available from Microsoft Vista ISO file download.

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Is my Windows my product key license? Also, if I want to download the iso of Windows 7 yes I need to buy a license/product key of Windows 7? Or my Windows 10 will work?

Your license is the product key.

You don't need to buy a license if you already have a product key.

Step 1: Download a copy of Windows 7:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

  • Permutation of my HARD drive SSD, need a file ISO in Windows 8

    Hi all

First of all, sorry for the long story, I want to clarify.
I use a laptop ASUS ROG G750, came with preinstalled Windows 8. I've updated to windows 8.1 blue as it was released.
I am facing the load always full HARD drive problems constantly, tried several solutions but not worked so far (the parameters of maintenance, defragmentation...). Some have said probably the cause comes from the windows installation, the establishment did not leave 350MB partition C:... I have no idea, and all other stations have no training. This should be the last of them, as other people who buy the same laptop got a 30% rate to have this problem.
I want to move to a SSD, I got a Plextor M5S 128 G.  Now the new problem arises... I don't know how to start.
    1. I would like to install Windows 8.1 directly, but I think that my laptop have windows 8, and it wouldn't work like that.
    2. I don't have a Windows 8 or 8.1 version OEM to install, I tried an ISO from the site of microsoft retailer, but it requires a key retailer...
So it would be great and awesome if someone can tell me anywhere who can make me an official ISO file, Windows 8 legitimate. There are a lot of windows 8 / 8.1 preactivated out there to get it, but above all they are Pro or enterprise... version I don't want to use a cracked version of Windows, as I don't have a product key, why would I?
    -----------------
UPDATE: Im download an OEM of Windows 8 version from an unreliable source, it mentions that if my laptop has Slic 3.0, it would automatically add the product key from the Bios...
    If it works?
    -----------------
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks in advance.

    That's what you do:

    If you're running Windows 8:

    Press Windows + W

    Type: create the recovery disk

    Press enter

Insert a USB stick 8 GB or more space

Click next and follow the instructions on the screen

If you are running Windows 8.1:

    Press Windows + S

    Type: create the recovery disk

    Press enter

Insert a USB stick 8 GB or more space

Click next and follow the instructions on the screen

Connect the recovery drive and the start of it.

When booting from the recovery of Windows 8 disk (USB drive or optical disk); the Windows logo is displayed on a black screen for a few moments; in the background, the computer actually starts in the environment of Windows Recovery (called simply, Windows RE).
Windows RE is based on Windows PE (Windows Preinstallation Environment)

How Windows RE works, once a prompt asking the user to choose a keyboard layout; for example, we could choose available United States. However, if the layout you want do not appear; then, select,
    See more keyboards.
(There is a total of 16 pages of keyboard layouts, arranged in alphabetical order).

This next screen allows three important options:

Click the Troubleshootingoption: it's the refresh option. Reset the computer; or, use the advanced disk recovery tools.

Click the Reset the PCoption: this option will reset the PC and at the same time, remove all the files.
Windows RE will find and save all data, settings, and applications; It will then install a fresh copy of Windows and restore all data, applications and settings.
When the PC is restarted. Connect with the existing username and password and it will find all the installed data.

However, desktop applications that have been installed will not be backed up or restored. the reasoning is that it is possible that a recently installed desktop application might be the cause of instability.
Windows RE will create a list of applications that were not backed up or restored, so that a decision can be taken, if it need to reinstall them.

  • How can I get an ISO in Windows 8?

I have a laptop HP I bought several months ago. I had to run Linux on it, so I installed Ubuntu. Now, I also need to do some things in Windows, if I want to install Windows 8 return. For some reason, I don't have a product key, its apparently hardcoded in the BIOS, so it should work automatically, but I don't know how to GET Windows. This site gave me an installer, but it is an .exe file, you can not run on Linux. I can not just run it as a live USB so its useless. I need an installation ISO, but I don't know where I am supposed to get it. What am I supposed to do?

I know, 8.1 installation will not work if you have the product key for Windows 8. Where can we get the installation media for Windows 8?

Unlike recent downloaders imperfect, the 8.1 Windows Media authoring tool provides a Windows 8.1 with update 1 .iso that works with the Windows 8.0 key both OEM and retail sales. See here where I demonstrates its use with a system OEM:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-Microsoft-Windows-and-Office/Download-Microsoft-Windows/download-Windows-8-1-retail-and-OEM-ISO/

Your first question is that the tool for creating Windows Media is a .exe that requires Windows 7 or later. Its recommended to use another PC to do this. Otherwise, your only choice is a double installation (or setting up a virtual computer) using the valuation of the company. This has a direct download link... You can install it and then use it to run the media creation tool:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-Microsoft-Windows-and-Office/Download-Microsoft-Windows/download-Windows-8-1-Enterprise-ISO-90-day-trial/

Your second question at issue is to determine the correct edition as you can not start your old Windows installation. The correct edition will automatically enter your product key and brings you to the license agreement, incorrect Edition invites you to enter a product key.

  • Can I legitimately use a downloaded version of ISO of Windows 7 with my genuine license?

I recently bought a new system with an OEM Windows 7 Professional installed. When the customization I went for a 32-bit version of Windows for compatibility not abreast of the 4 GB limit in 32-bit OSs (it was not mentioned on the website of the vendor and even Windows page Microsoft says that 64 bit systems handle large amounts of memory more efficiently, but it's another criticism).

I contacted since then ask them my 32-bit copy must be replaced by a 64 bits but they say that they don't what I activated my copy and they are not sent a 64-bit install CD even if some manufacturers provide both.

However apparently my OEM license licenses me for installing 32-bit or 64-bit, and I have been informed by the company that I can download legitimately and ISO of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit image, activate it with my genuine license key (32 bit) and be legally permitted to use the software. Apparently their Windows REP told them that they care not whence the media as long as the license is valid (and I believe that the Windows Genuine Advantage software will allow a legal license be purchased from Microsoft to legitimize a non-genuine copy). Is this correct? It is important for me that I license correctly.

I've always found Microsoft Licensing really useful to clarify things for me in the past but I can't find a way to communicate with them about it and Microsoft does not seem to talk to OEM licensees, referring back to their system providers (which, in my case, are not be useful).

Could someone clarify things for me or give me an email address where I could contact Microsoft themselves about this?

If you want to reduce costs now, the best option is to go with the retail upgrade package. If you need not unique features of Windows 7 Professional for example (Domain Join, Remote Desktop, group policy, encryption, network backup), then you could buy a cheaper edition such as Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade.

Keep in mind, but if you decide to transfer the license of Windows 7 Home Premium to another system down the road, this system should run the qualifying operating system, since the OEM license is not transferable.

    Hello.

But now it runs with a little illegal after years of careless use.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press F8 on the keyboard until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".
