Issue of Adobe Reader install

I try to open the Adobe Reader Installer, but I forgot my password.  How can I recover my password or get a new one?

You don't need to install Adobe Reader, a password.

However, if you are not a user administrator, you need to your computer administrator password.

  • How to do the "quick print" Windows function works with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader installed on a computer?

    Hello

On a Windows 10 computer I have Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat is installed.

If Adobe Acrobat is set as the default PDF Viewer, when I right click on a PDF file I don't have the button 'print '.

If Adobe Reader is set as the default PDF Viewer, when I right click on a PDF file I have this 'print' button, but when I click the button it opens Adobe Acrobat (why?) and it does not print anything

Are you aware of this bug? What can I do to make this work of button "print"?

Thanks for reading and your help

Which versions of Acrobat and Reader you have installed? The only supported combination is when both are of the same major version (for example, XI Acrobat and Reader XI, or Acrobat DC and DC drive). Anything else is not supported one can cause problems.

  • HELP HELP: Saving Adobe Reader installed in Nov-2014

I have a guy from the computer that has installed the versin free Adobe Reader (10.1.13) last November 2014.  I did have the opportunity to use this software a lot, but 2 days ago, I needed to.  I finished a MS Publisher document and needed a PDF version.  I hit print, selected PDF in the print dialog box and click on go.  Adobe Reader loaded and made the PDF unless he had a large diagonal watermark across the document saying "Not REGISTERED".

Clearly my computer guy didn't create an Adobe account and save the use of the software.  During the last 24 hours, I've been trying to register this product and does not.  I've set up an Adobe account, but there is no where I can see to get the registration number of the installed product.  I tried to install Adobe XI but I use Vista on a 32-bit PC and as far as I can check XI will not install on Vista.  I tried to re - install Reader X but just, he stops and tells me that the software is already installed.

How can I register my Adobe Reader X, which was installed in November last year and so remove the watermark of the "UNREGISTERED" diagonal of grand than apperas in the whole of my PDF files?

    Please help I'm getting desperate.

Adobe Reader does not create the PDF file. What software do you use to PDF printer?

Thanks for the screenshots.  There was actually a problem with downloading images yesterday.

You can try if the MSI installer works better: http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.0/en_US/AdbeRdr1010_en_US.msi

  • can't download adobe reader - message indicates that new version already installed but I don't have Adobe reader installed

It all started when I tried to download the latest adobe acrobat reader update is 10.1.13 but update failed so I deleted the program and tried to download a new version. When I tried to download fails and messages that I already have the new version. Then I checked my system and do not have Acrobat reader.

I don't know why you get these errors; After running the cleanup tool, nothing like this needs to happen.

But let's try another approach; Download and run

    1. vacuuming ( http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) tool new
    2. the MSI 10.1.0 installer

  • Newly installed adobe reader stops immediately after the opening

I just installed Adobe Reader (on a Windows 7 computer), but I tried to open it it starts and stops immediately. I have another PDF generator that came with the computer (Stat Nova PDF) which could interfere with Adobe reader.

Works with Adobe reader installed or PDF software.

Is there a setting to make Adobe default PDF reader?

I can't risk to uninstall the software original PDF (Stat Nova PDF), it must be for a rush job and can't risk have no functional PDF reader at all.

    Thanks for your help

First thing to try: go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader and Eula.exe execution, and then click I accept.

  • should several Adobe products installed, I uninstall one of them?

    redundant Adobes?

Tried to watch C-SPAN2 to slow down, slow down the buffering... I was using WI - FI, which indicates the signal is very good to excellent and speed said 54 Mbit/s, but I don't know if those are the real numbers in practice.  In any case, C - SPAN2 VIDEOS prompted me to download & install ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 11 ActiveX64-bit, which I did.  Then, I checked under PROGRAMS & FEATURES, where I found the following Adobe facilities:

    Adobe Air - installed 16/04/2009
Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin, installed on 23/03/2010
Adobe Reader installed on 25/09/2011 9.4.6
Should I UNINSTALL all three of the above, now that I have installed Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX64 bits?
    Please notify.  Thank you.

    Hello

Are you having problems with the Adobe Flash Player installed on the computer?

If you try to upgrade to a newer version of Adobe Flash player, I you suggest to uninstall the previous versions installed on the computer and then try to install the latest version of it.

As you already installed, check if you are facing a problem. If there are problems, then uninstall the old version and install the latest Adobe flash player and Adobe Air.

Check the link for the latest Adobe flash player and Adobe Air:

  • Adobe Reader 10.1.4 update to the latest version

    Hello

I have a few PC with Adobe Reader installed 10.1.4 and would like to know what should be the proper upgrade path. I know that version 11 is out at the moment, but for now, I want to just update to version more recent 10 x (I think it's 10.1.16?)

I will need to uninstall it before installing 10.1.16 10.1.4 or can run the new versions installed to upgrade 10.1.4 without any problem?

    Appreciate any advice.

    Best regards

  • How to upgrade my adobe reader 8.1 Windows software to the latest version?

I want to update adobe reader on my Windows 8.1 applications software to the latest version without creating two adobe readers.  How do I do that?

    Hi toddc57146299,

Please note that Windows OS 8.1 has a built-in pdf reader. I hope that you do not confuse with Adobe Reader.

If you have Adobe Reader installed on your machine, go to the Help menu and then click on "Check for updates".

You can also install the latest version of Adobe Reader using this link: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions ; It would automatically replace the previous version.

    Kind regards
