  I cannot use apex_4.2.3 with apex_listener ords_2.0.6 under tomcat6.  My operating system is Linux with the distribution of Oracle_Linux_Server_6.4, which is similar to RHEL_6.4. The database that I use is XE_11.2g.

  I think I'm just following the instructions in the ADR (E25066-10) installation manual. I am able to run successfully using ADR in stand-alone mode, but I can't make it work with tomcat6.  After you have copied ords.war and the images directory apex in the tomcat webapps directory, I get errors when I try to start ADR under tomcat.  ADR is listed as an application using tomcat manager/html, but the column 'Running' brand ADR as fake and tomcat "will not start" it.

  The error message is correct because I DO NOT have a file named:

  I samplesales.rpd three SPR, paint.rpd, sh.rpd.
  
  I can not open them in offline mode, but when I opened online, the only list I see is Analyticsweb, and when I open it, it says failed to connect.

  Are you sure only that is... If so check the DSN to which RPD, it points towards... did you create a DSN or using the default?

  You check in the administration tool or dashboards that are visible on the presentation server? If you see the front-end server and if it is show you samplesales then this front-end treats the instanceconfig.xml

  Apache can be stopped using the adapcctl.sh script. If this is not enough, issue ' ps - ef | grep apache-i"to discover the list of operating system Apache processes.

  You will find all the details on the error in the log file?

  This worked before? If so, the changes have been made recently?

  Please run AutoConfig and see if this helps solve the problem of script.

• Oracle APEX Apache connection problem

  I have an interesting problem. I would like to install the Apache Server with mod_plsql on a server with at least another Apache server running. I thing it's an iSuites Oracle Portal. It doesn't seem to be an Apache Server installed on the machine in addition to the other server. I think that the iSuites server can be a server and report forms. I would like to set up 'my' Apache server to maintain my APEX development environment.

  I'm guessing what you have is actually an installation of server applications. Basically, you need to copy the images directory and configuration and the alias for her as well as descriptors of connection in the dads.conf file. The following post has some links that should help.

  I use a use of a region of the tree Mobile Application. The tree implementation is defined on Tree APEX.

  When I run the Application, I get a symbol of continuous loading.

  When I use the same SQL, region and implementation in a desktop app it works fine.

  I can't get it working on a Mobile Application with the implementation of jsTree.

  The area of the tree is not supported for mobile pages. If you use the new page Wizard to create a mobile page, you will see that it is not established that the area of the tree. It only appears if you decide to display unsupported. What seems like a bug, it's that the tree is displayed in the Gallery of areas of the page designer.

  The implementation of the tree of the APEX (widget.treeView.js) is a jQuery UI widget. Even if the core of widget in jQuery UI and jQuery mobile are essentially the same tree view widget has additional dependencies such as $. UI.mouse. the reason why the old jsTree can work at least a little, is that it is a jQuery plugin not a jQuery UI plugin (if I remember correctly).

  We use LDAP authentication in our applications. Now, the ADMINISTRATOR stressed that all passwords are saved in the logs if monitor you the session apex_public_user with dbms_monitor.session_trace_enable (you define binds to true to get the parameters passed).
  
  Although it could be argued that a user how is allowed to run dbms_monitor should be a s/n trust, the requirement is to hide passwords in logs. To my knowledge, it is impossible to do, or am I have wrong here?
  
  If this is true, is the only option to use safely LDAP is for the browser authenticate directly, without going through any logic apex?

  How your custom permission of LDAP look like? You call the APEX_LDAP package? If you want to avoid the bind variable in this context to prevent their record in the trace file, you can use the V function instead. For example:

  For the listener to APEX 1.1 you must create an administrator user for configuring the listener of the APEX in Weblogic.
  For example, "adminlistener" with the role 'Admin '.
  Looking for more information in the documentation of the listener.

  When you start http://:/apex/listenerConfigure (new configuration) or http://:/apex/listenerAdmin (configuration), you need to identify you with this user to administrator. Thus "adminlistener".

  When configuring the Listener page you define the connection to the database for APEX.
  This is done with the APEX_PUBLIC_USER account.
  In addition, you must set the host name, port, the sid or the servicename of the database.
  After registration you can start the APEX in the browser.

  I have APEX page with an element of the shuttle that has a valid LOV, but the selection list fill out until after the page has been submitted (a key) at least once.
  
  Has anyone else encountered this problem and figured out how to get the list to load the first time?
  
  I use the Application Express 4.0.1.00.03 and Oracle 11.2 g.

  You can set the shuttle as a LOV cascading and specify its parent depending on items(and the ones to be set to session before refresh), so that the shuttle is updated when you change the items to his parents and without presentation of the page is required.

  What is your name?

  Best practice is to take advantage of the ApEx into the subscription mechanism. You start by creating an application that is not supposed to be used for anything other than an application of 'model '. Here, you add your theme as you like, but also all shared components you want to what others asking to be able to "consume." Then, when you create a new application sign up for the application of the model. Later you can push changes to the application of the model to all subscription requests.

  To avoid having to re-register during the creation of each new application, you can create another application that is used as the starter for new applications with the updated subscriptions set up. Then you simply copy this application when you want to start a new.

  I am trying to create an interactive (IR) report that has more than 160 columns... He said that the maximum limit is 60(or 64) columns... I remember when I started just to build the application, it has allowed me to create the report with 160 + columns but I didn't start with IR. My entire application was built, and it's the only thing that remains to be done... Is it still create an IR with columns 160 + now that I am almost finish the app...

  I had the same thought; If it is possible to create a new appl with IR with 160 + columns then do.

  After creating a new appl revert to the original app, open one of the pages, click the copy button on the top of the page, click on 'Page in another application', select the new appl with IR, then select the page with IR... Follow the steps

  Hey all. I try to use Apache to proxy port with APEX. We have a client that blocks their out past ports, so I need our application to run on the network on ports 80 and 8080 not. So basically, I'm trying to turn this:

• Need help in configuration of Proxy reverse using Apache - R12

  We have a reverse proxy configuration using Apache 2.2 for Oracle Apps R12.
  Demand is expected to go this way: Load Balancer (Port: 443) (https)-> reverse Proxy (Apache-> Server(Port: 8000) Application)(Port: 8000)-> database (Port: 1521).
  Application is configured in https mode.
  
  Now, when we go to the URL we get initial redirection page. i.e.
  The E-Business Home Page is located at https://upgtest.ultimatix.org/OA_HTML/AppsLogin
  If your browser is not automatically redirect to its new location, click here.
  
  Then after redirection we get 404. Single application (without the reverse proxy server) works very well. We get the problem when you use the reverse proxy server between the two.
  We receive a 404 error on apache reverse proxy server. Please help us to solve the issue.
