Issue of image trace

Hello

I'm trying to draw this simple drawing and I am not having any luck.

It's as if the image is too small or something. Any help would be appreciated.

Capture1.PNG

When I click on "trace", it deletes the angle lines:

Capture2.PNG

I think that the image is simply too low for a good result.  But, in looking at it, it should be fairly quick and easy to re - draw using Illustrator tools and the final product would be vacuum ahead, too.

  • Question of dilation image trace

I need a lot of trace of image of small images of 6 colors. I think that once I am happy with the results of tracing I need to enlarge the image. The problem I have is that as soon as I did, it seems to take a lot of my machine and everything starts to slow down a bit. Is what I can do to an image traced and enlarged the image to make it simpler and therefore consume less processing power?

I thought I could re - save each image to a png or something, but it means everything twice.

    Appreciate any help on this.

    Bravo!

How many points/paths are you end up with? so that's not the hundreds of thousands, I would have thought you would be nice.

  • In Illustrator Image Trace, how "place" an image at the same size as the PS file?

If I work in Photoshop in 300 dpi and I want to insert a border around a form, with the help of Illustrator to create the plan, such as it is, it is impossible to do that. Go all the way back to Streamline (someone he remembers Streamline?), if you placed a picture of the automatic route, vectorization, or, now, 'Trace of Image', the placed image would be just that a copy of the same size of the file original raster. Not now. Now, placing an illustration for tracing involves waving a positioning reticle identified as '1:1 ' with which you can make the image is traced back to whatever size you want, and there is no ghosting or model to help size with reliability. At least, as far as I can tell. Am I missing something here? I went through the files using Illustrator and a copy of the 'Illustrator CC' of Weinmann. Nothing. It seems as if the Image monitoring mission is no trace, but to resize, so that the vectorized image likeness no size-the original.   Can anyone help?

    Birck,

The value of W (as is the value of H) is in pixels if the selected unit, and in this context, a pixel is identical to a point or 1/72nd of an inch, corresponding to 72 DPI.

So when you place the image, the w and H values reflect pixels real x the size in pixels of the image, regardless of the resolution created / used to in Photoshop.

And that is why it must be reduced by multiplying with 0.24 and do appear in the size corresponding to 300 PPI.

    No need for percentages.

But you can also select the image and use the object > transform > scale and apply uniform 24%, which is equivalent to multiplying by 0.24 as described.

  • Resolution issues of image (redirect) on my new DELL XPS 13 (2015)

I just bought my new DELL XPS 13 inch 2015 model Corei7, touch screen version.  As soon as I came to explore, I noticed that the fonts are super sharp and high resolution, which is great, however, images/logos of websites such as facebook, cnet, and many others is a bit blurry and pixelated. Why is this the case? I have a pro apple mac book and all the images load perfectly here.

What could be the problem and is it possible that I can find a solution or this?

  • Flash - how is the HUGE issue of image resolution and HD - support

    Hello Flash Forums,

It's been a while since I've posted, but I would love to inform me of some of the old pros here concerning best practices using flash for large-scale environmental labelling:

1 flash supports high definition correct? I did a google search and see that it does - but not sure that I need a plug-in or it is just a parameter? My question is more inspiring-animation flash maybe highDef, or only the videos that it displays?

    2. I'm working on a graphic very large environment (like 40 ft high) and curious to know if anyone can tell me how you deal with images at this size? I remember vaugely that they do need to be 300 dpi, but I still need to maintain a certain resolution?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

The limiting factors, that you're going to have case are more likely to see with what will actually being run / play your Flash content and feed it to this view. Who is responsible for the implementation of the computer system that displays this could answer. Discover the resolution of their screen set up. It will probably take a projection installation, which shows regardless of the media to a size of enlargements of. Ask if the HD 1080 video will work and if they used before, and how did he watch, etc.

If the screen ends up having a resolution of something of significantly higher resolution monitor 'high' of what a designer is, have not necessarily to have your Flash showing 100% and fill all these pixels. You can have good results by creating your Flash to width reasonale & height and then scaling that 150%, 200%, etc.

Flash displays no problems dispalying 1080 HD video, and nothing is required other than the Flash plugin. It continues to be updated to Flash Player for improving video support, so make sure you get the latest version installed on any computer that plays. YouTube has begun to show the full HD (1080) all the time, and the thread and so you can always check this site to see videos how smooth are.

  • T450s show issue (corrupted image)

A few days ago my T450s have developed a display problem, as shown in the videos below:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=XYZ-TWDsNJo

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=rRREUYBpzPo

I took the second BIOS video just to show that it is not only related to Windows, so I don't think it's a driver problem. I always had a second monitor connected to the laptop and works well, so I think that the display in the CPU unit is fine, that there must be something wrong with the screen itself into the laptop to work.

  • Trace of image in Illustrator CC 2015

I need help with the track of the image of "new and improved" functionality in its new version of Illustrator. I absolutely LOVED the trace of the image in Illustrator CS5, but everything since then has been garbage. at least for what I need to.

I need image trace to be able to rotate the image as an attachment in a vector and maintain sharp edges of stairs intervened. CS5 does it perfectly, but no matter what settings I use in the new version, I can't maintain nice strong 90 degrees. I know there are people very well informed in this forum, and I hope someone can shed some light on this issue.

The images I work with are 1-bit bmp files, but I had to convert JPG to post here.

    Thank you!

    16.jpg

The solution to my problem was just reinstall Illustrator CS5 on my machine, and just use the trace image feature in this version whenever I need.

  • How to fill the open paths to Trace the Image (automatically)?

I drew this picture with a pencil and parsed it as a png image:

    [Dragon.png]Dragon.png

I want to have closed roads, so that I may fulfill different

areas with different colors easily with the live paint bucket

(for example blue eyes, the rest in brown color).

I've vectorized it my png Image trace (trace first, and then expand the button).

You can see the settings I used to trace right picture of the image.

    AfterExpand.PNG

    [AfterExpand.png]

    1)

These settings are good to vectorize a pencil drawing or

    are there settings better?

    2)

I think that the blue lines are the paths.

Is there a possibility to mix and to?

    3)

You can see there are open paths where they need to be closed:

    Open_Paths.PNG

    [Open_Paths.png]

Is it possible to close automatically with

a function of artificial intelligence in Illustrator with fitting curved paths?

    How can it be done?

    4)

If 3) is not possible, what is the best practice to do it manually?

You can see that the shilouette has a large diameter, so I can not only

create new ways of binding because they have zero diameter.

    5)

First I drew the image with a pencil,

So it was not possible to have all the lines of equal diameter.

    But that's what I want.

Even there is a possibilitiy to set all the paths of a vector image

to a certain diameter in one click?

    (1) totally depends on your drawing. Try to find the best for you.

    (2) view > hide edges

    (3) the live paint function has a detection of space you see in the menu object

    (5) you would nee to draw it differently: create: features

But for this simple drawing: just it draw manually.

I'm turning a vector drawing. I scanned the drawing and opened it in Photoshop CS6. After looking on the web an option was to use the Trace of the Image, but my Photoshop does not appear to be any Panel / tool / window titled 'Image path '. • An excerpt from CAN (can edit, change, etc.) created from a trace of the image paths? (CS6)

    Hiya Adobe community,

This might me up a little, but a long time ago I used to use Freehand as my defacto design tool until I went to I. At that time, I also used "Rationalize" (http://www.adobe.com/products/streamline/) to perform the functions track image is today. While its results were a little rough, the software gave me the vector points, paths and acnhors that I needed. After all the traces, I could manually change the vector traces resulting.

I have been using the CS6 tracing feature, but the only thing I can't understand for the life of me is the question of the "bounding box" for an imported picture. Whenever I have draw a drawing, tracing of AI results always placed a bounding box around the area of the vectorized image. My goal: to locate an item, get rid of the bounding box and extract contours and paths so that I can then change to my link.

Is this possible? Im sure it is possible... I can not find how. (Or I do the wishes of crack?) Everything I have said, if Streamline allowed me to change the track paths, so it would be a shame if AI CS6 is not.

See the image attached for some content. Thanks in advance for any help!
