• Satellite L40 - Wlan issue after the new installation of Vista

  Hello
  I have Toshiba Satellite L40 and I lost the recovery disk. So I download the drivers from the Toshiba website and install them. I have a new installation of windows Vista Home premium Edition SP1 also. But Atheros Wireless did not work properly. There a lock button icon status change not always off and the light is always too. But on the screen top left icon that shows the field of wireless connection there.

  Should I install any other updates vista? or am missing some other facility?

• If installation Design

  I tried to install InDesign this morning but it says the installation failed. I hit "try again" and it opens a window on my browser, but it is empty. I will return to the Setup page and it says it's installed 42% (summer say that for the last 10 minutes). I closed and reopened the menu and the same thing appears.  Anyone know how I can fix this frustrating problem?

  Im trying to install into windows 10 with more than 600 GB of my HARD disk storage

  I get an error saying there was an error during extraction of files. Check the amount of space available on your computer and the rights to write to the destination folder. I tried to install about 3 times and nothing worked

  Have tried for the last 2 hours and have been through all the troubleshooting steps-, but the installer goes on "trying to connect to the server. Please resolve urgently

  Finally I was able to solve the problem after a Tech chat.

  I had to disable the firewall and Anti virus for download.

  According to the Tech: "sometimes anti-virus and firewall blocks installation and activation of the Adobe Applications as we have disabled them we are able to install.» Once the problem is resolved you can go ahead and enable it. »

• Issue of form of planning design

  Hi all
  I'm essbase well-versed in (most things), after working with her for nearly 9 years.
  I've always done a practice do not write high-level members (even before ASO came) substitute "Input" hierarchies if necessary for allocation entries. In this way, there is always traceability to the number that was entered.

  To make a long story short (I know, too late), which is the best practice for the design of web forms? Allow users to enter higher levels for allowances, it it works Top-Down AND Bottom-Up? Or create different forms for different uses and it to be an element of training?

  According to me, assignment and determination of objectives must be a process of children with discreet public (c.-a-d./directeurs only). So top-down edict and allocation rules of access rights should be granted to a group of different users of the low up
  Once the targets are presented and allocated at the bottom to the top, process should begin for the bottom upward. And ideally to users that modify the bottom upward should not be editing high down at the same time, nor should they run allocation rules.

• Issues of mode overview and design

  I would like to point out a few glitches in Muse.

  Problem #1:

  I had a pair of photos that I've added some text in a separate text box.  I had problems with alignment, so I put some pictures in a slide show with text:

  If I hit enter again and then delete, the text back to where I want to go.

  Problem #2:

  Occasionally, when I saw a page I design, it seems confused with text in different places I never put and opacity is reduced, as if it was under layers.  I deleted all the text on the page and re-introduced in preview with no difference in the way it appeared, garbled text again and his place with the text, I just deleted.  I go back to the last record and fortunately suits him, but he redefined a few steps.  I not save any screen shots of this fiasco, but I did it with the following has occurred:

  I figured out how to get my adjustment to the animal facts page to be visible.

  I put another block of text on top of the existing framework.  Somehow, however, the underlying text block is showing.

  I don't know what is happening with it, but it's fixed... for now.

• I can't download the new updates from 8 may 2012. I get the error code 641. In a separate issue I get Windows Installer errors.

  I'm running Vista window 6 service pack 2 32-bit.  None of the 8 steps for further research for this error worked.   I tried the regfix_vista.reg and the msiserver.reg proposed corrections and will continue to receive the error code 641.  I spent weeks and weeks on this and nothing works.  I want to give up.  Everyone knows the same problem?  I uninstalled the e/s from my list of software system mechanic who had been previously suggested as being the culprit for this problem...

• issue of safety hibernation

  Hello. I have a Dell laptop which uses Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Recently I used the mode hibernate instead of shut down my computer at night (for the fastest start time in the morning).  My husband thinks that this mode opens my computer until security questions (even if I have security software). I have to disagree.  You can settle the question for us?  (I have a $5 bet on it...)

  Also, there are other problems with the use of hibernation that I should know about? Such as: I read that need us space on my hard disk and defragmentation should be done more often.  Similar problems I should know about?

  • If you need a password when returning from hibernation, then security is as strong as with a normal startup.
  • Hibernation file c:\hiberfil.sys takes about as much disk space than the amount of RAM you have installed, probably 4 GB. With a capacity of 500 GB drive, who cares?
  • Hibernate mode has no effect on the fragmentation of the files.
  • Now, disk caching software is so advanced that you don't notice any difference before and after defragmenting the drive. All delivery is now largely in the eyes of the beholder. If you doubt, use a stopwatch to prove or disprove it.

  How can I specify 3 decimal dimensioning in CS4? When I place values in increments 1/8 ", they round up, that is to say 4,125" becomes 4.13.
