issue of the listener status

Hello

I am migrating the database of a domain to another controller and when I try to start the listener on the node migrated, I get the message below.

He said that the listener is started but its unable to authentcate the user. Is this a problem?

LSNRCTL > start

AMT-01106: listener using the name listener fleet has already begun

LSNRCTL > status

AMT-01189: the listener could not authenticate the user

Thank you

AMT-01189: the listener could not authenticate the user
Cause: The user attempted to issue a privileged administrative command, but could not be authenticated by the receiver by using the local operating system authentication mechanism. This can occur due to one of the following reasons:

1. the user runs a version of LSNRCTL, which is lower than the version of the listener.

2. the user is trying to administer the listener to a remote node.

3. the auditor could not get the necessary system resources to perform the authentication.

4. the local network connection between the listener and LSNRCTL was interrupted unexpectedly during the exchange of authentication messages, for example if program suddenly abandoned LSNRCTL.

5. the communication between the listener and LSNRCTL is be intercepted by a malicious user.

6. the software that the user is running does not follow the authentication protocol, which indicates a malicious user.

Action: Make sure that administrative commands are issued using the LSNRCTL tool, which is a version equal or greater than the version of the listener, and the tool and the listener running on the same node. You can issue the VERSION command to determine the version of the listener. If a malicious user is suspected, use the information provided in the listener log file to determine the source and nature of the requests. Turn on the earpiece of tracing for more information. If the error persists, contact Oracle Support Services.

    Step 1

    Step 2

    Then on the same server... I installed 11 GR 2 XE with APEX epg configured on the listening port 1522. I purposely created its own listener APEX is very sensitive in connectivity of the listener.
    Two listener now the connection separately for each database.

    Step 3.

    Then on the same server... I installed 11 GR 2 EA and the listener uses port 1521. If this setting overrides the listener 10g... while I'm not disable it. And then began the 11 GR 2 new of the listener.

  • Issue of the listener to RAC

    Hi all

    I have a 2 RAC node and when I run the lsnrctl services command on node 2, I get a list of services, but when I run the same node 1 I get

    The listener supports no services

    is this normal or should I receive a list on both nodes?

    I'm essentially looking to get to the bottom of why one of my databases on this implementation RAC keeps giving me an IO exception: the network adapter could not establish the connection in EM, but I failed to find an actual error for this number yet.

    Thank you

    I don't understand why. Now I have the Listener.ora files on both nodes which look different with what you put and that without it, why is this?

    The listener expects the requests from Clients to connect to the Instance. It receives connection requests incoming clients and handles the traffic of these requests to the database server.
    For example: If node 1 is down, listener node redirection 2 while waiting request to node 2. This listening port on both nodes must be different.

  • a dll Win32 winspool call for the issue of the printer status

    Hello

    I apologize because I do not understand Win32.

    I for 2014 LabVIEW full development system and want to access the Win32 API.

    I am trying to write a function to determine if a printer is out of ink or offline for some reason any.

    I see that the MSDN Winspool library has the features I need.

    According to the MSDN Web site, the dll is Winspool.drv.

    https://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/Windows/desktop/dd162751 (v = vs. 85) .aspx

    I tried to do a call library function in LabVIEW, but it is the search for DLL and does not recognize the Winspool.drv

    It lie in the methods in LabVIEW to access the Winspool, or nobody knows what the correct dll (and location) I call is?

    Ultimately, what I want to do is open printer-> get jobs-> status of--> close printer.

    Seems simple enough.

    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    You use a 32-bit version or 64-bit LabVIEW? If you use the 32-bit version, you should not try to load the 64-bit version of the DLL. Surprisingly, the System32 directory is for 64-bit dll, and the SysWOW64 folder is for 32-bit dll. If you have installed the 32-bit version of LabVIEW, try SysWOW64 winspool.drv.

  • Issue of the listener...

    I'm not too good with the whole concept of 'listener' and I think that's what I would need to use in this situation, but I don't know how. I hope someone can help me...

    Basically, I want to call a function every time that you press the ENTER key on the keyboard, but ONLY when a certain textfield (in this case, called "search_txt") has focus (the cursor or other)...

    How this is done? Thank you!...

    There is nothing to worry about it. UNKNOWN means, the listener knows the orcl SID because of the list of SIDS. This is called static record. If your instance orcl's up, PMON dynamically registers the listener (if you are using port 1521 without additional configuration), which leads to a READY State.

  • Configuring the listener and other issues

    I installed 2 instances of database on the same database and the same house database.
    Instances use the same listener. If I try to start the business manager in the browser for both instances,
    Enterprise Manager starts just to the last installed instance. I edited the listener.ora one file
    Add a Description more with another port number as follows:

    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1522))
    )

    for the following content:

    LISTENER_APPDB =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
    )
    )

    now the file looks similar to the following:

    LISTENER_APPDB =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
    )
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = merge)(PORT = 1522))
    )
    )

    ADR_BASE_LISTENER_APPDB = D:\app\oracle2

    SID_LIST_LISTENER_APPDB =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = CLRExtProc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = D:\app\oracle2\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1)
    (= Extproc PROGRAM)
    (ENVS = "EXTPROC_DLLS=ONLY:D:\app\oracle2\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\oraclr11.dll")
    )
    )

    I also changed the port of one of the instances in the file tnsnames.ora from 1521 to 1522.
    It is now possible to launch Enterprise Manager in both cases. But after I connect to one of the
    bodies with Enterprise Manager from the logs of the other instance. Is it ok then? Will I have problems
    with this configuration? Should I do something different?

    Second question: if I installed an instance during installation, some patches where
    automatically installed. After that, I installed another instance. Do I have to patch this body too?
    Are the hotfixes installed for the DBMS together or just for a single instance?

    * Third question: if I have 2 case how can I set the parameter btree_bitmap_plans for only *.
    one of the instances? I found the following code to do this:

    ALTER SYSTEM SET "_b_tree_bitmap_plans" = false SCOPE = SPFILE;

    but for which the instance parameter will be defined for both or just one? What I have to choose
    one of the instances? How can I do?

    Published by: 995273 on 21.03.2013 02:49

    Set oracle_sid = your_db_name

    then, in SQL, use command below

    ALTER SYSTEM SET "_b_tree_bitmap_plans" = false SCOPE = SPFILE;

    Do you have any recommendations for the Support of Oracle to use?

    What is the problem solve you them by having more than one listener? And exactly how would you believe one of them is "for security"?

    We wanted it for each database to have its own listener named after the name for example.

    It's like the construction of a separate switchboard for each phone customer.

    For a listener instance, base on the listener can access control.

    I'm not sure that understand what you mean. In fact, I'm quite sure that I have no idea what you mean.

    There is a good justification for a bad practice. "The guy in front of me he did it."

  • Communication with the listener OEM problem

    Hi all
    for some reason, my OEM is corrupted and when activated, it messes with the listener. I have found the problem lies in OEM, rather than in the listener since I can establish connection between SQLdeveloper and the server through the listener without any problem.

    I have the named instance INARA, host named FIREFLY. SNOWDROP.COM and the listener named ORACLE_LISTENER.

    I closed the SQLdeveloper application and its listener and OEM first to identify the problem. After that I started OEM, emoms.log dumped Log Management Service:

    Looked like OEM had some errors and warnings after it opened, but I don't know what they meant.

    After OEM is started successfully, at least according to the commandment of emtcl, I started ORACLE_LISTENER listener. At this point, I did the loopback test using NET manager on the server, and it took forever so I aborted it. The database at this point was still open and running without problem however. Taken TNSPING 157080 msc to return an OK value, meanwhile lsnrctl status ORACLE_STATUS was at a standstill.

    Then look at emagent.trc after that the listener was launched:

    At this point, part of the NET services caused by OEM, corruption has been altered, but I didn't know what caused it. NET with his listener services can operate normally after I stopped OEM and forced killed the listener and restarted normally.

    No idea how to solve the problem of this point?
    Kind regards
    Val

    Valerie,

    The problems are manifold.

    1 in listener.ora are two defined listeners, as well running on port 1521. This is not going to work. As the default listener name is 'Listener', probably the named listener "listener" is launched and the listener called 'oracle_listener' has never worked. Check this box by issuing

    status lsnrctl listener

    lsnrctl status oracle_listener.

    Delete oracle_listener.

    2 the tnsnames.ora is a mess.
    Apart from the first definition, INARA, everything else can be removed, as they are incorrect, in any case. Localhost means 127.0.0.1, you do not have a listening port on localhost, so all the definitions referring to localhost are redundant.

    Should a .properties file in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman /... with the definition of the listener. Currently I can't find it, but then I use 11 GR 2.

    The status bar was along the bottom of the window. At the right end of the bar, a lock icon appears when you are on a secure site, as bank earnings or invoice. With the now missing status bar, where can I see this lock icon?

    The lock is no longer a part of Firefox; It can give users a sense that a site is secure by not providing all the information related to a site. Familiarize yourself with the Site identity button in Firefox:

  • Issue using the ink cartridges.

    I just replaced all my ink cartridges (and now black twice). He did not print documents sent by my iPad or make copies. However, it will display the printer status. I cleaned the print heads. It is then printed out-of-print diagnostic quality showing all my color cartridges are full, but nothing for the black. I clean the printhead three times now and same thing.

    Hello

    Many printers will not print if any of the ink cartridges do not register. If
    You can remove and reinstall the black print cartridge (had to do that to my)
    Printer Brother last night).

    OEM for the printer manufacturer is responsible for the proper functioning of the
    printer and their drivers. Check with their support, their online
    documentation and drivers and ask in their forums (if any).

  • Install issue with the Oracle database Client in Hyperion 11.1.2.4

    We had problems try raising the EPMA server. I found digging that odp.net was necessary. It seems that we had missed client installation Oracle database on the machine. So I stopped the services and tried to install the client. It always ends with error:

    That means ODP.net cannot be installed in an existing home to Oracle. If this is not the case, how can I install it separately to get the job of EPMA.

    OK got it works by manipulating inventory. It seems that there is an old facility that was causing the problem.

  • Problem with the listener in environment of multiple databases

    Hello world!

    I have a server that is running about 10 databases. And 5 listeners who manage these databases. Some listener manage 1 DB, another can handle more than 1.

    Listener ESSENTIALS that I create the first run (top of the listener.ora file), only 2 DB. But when I show the status of the listening port, it shows the listener to manage all DBs.

    Another listener works normally.

    Could you help me solve the problem?

    Thank you!

    TuanNV

    You must set the LOCAL_LISTENER parameter in each instance to control what other they register with. You have probably enabled by default, so they all register with all that is listening on port 1521.

    Moreover, some people here get mad at the idea of running more of a listener. Be warned.

  • The listener supports no services

    Hi all

    I installed Oracle Database 11 g 2 and Oracle network on a Linux infrastructure, then I created the orcl database.

    I've always been able to connect to my database using SQL * more or OEM. But lately, I am experiencing a problem when you type the command lsnrctl status , and so I am not able to connect to the database.

    My listener.ora file:

    # listener.ora Network Configuration File: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/grid/network/admin/listener.ora
    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.# tnsnames.ora Network Configuration File: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    ORCL =
      (DESCRIPTION =
       (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = pc.company.com)(PORT = 1521))
       (CONNECT_DATA =
       (SERVER = DEDICATED)
       (SERVICE_NAME = orcl.example.com)
       )
      )

    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = pc.company.com) (PORT = 1521))
    )
    )
    ADR_BASE_LISTENER = / u01/app/oracle

    When you type lsnrctl status , I get the following:

    LSNRCTL for Linux: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production on 21-JUL-2014 03:35:48

    Copyright (c) 1991, 2009, Oracle.  All rights reserved.

    Listening Endpoints Summary...
      (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=pc.company.com)(PORT=1521)))
    The listener supports no services
    The command completed successfully

    When you type sqlplus / as sysdba then startup , I get this:

    ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
    ORA-01565: error in identifying file '+DATA/orcl/spfileorcl.ora'
    ORA-17503: ksfdopn:2 Failed to open file +DATA/orcl/spfileorcl.ora
    ORA-29701: unable to connect to Cluster Synchronization Service

    Thanks in advance

    Your listener 'supports no service' is because your database is not and therefore does not not with the listener.  There is nothing wrong with your listening.

    The reason that is not from your data base is written in the startup error message.  "Seems to me that it cannot find the spfile (first file in the boot sequence) because it's about ASM and you're"unable to connect to Cluster Synchronization Service"

    Is your ASM instance started successfully?
