Issue when the external Web service call

Hello

I'm calling the webservice from BPEL which fails with the following error:

Cannot call endpoint URI 'http:---' successfully due to: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: failed to read the answer: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: content is not allowed in the prologue.

When I try to test the standalone version of webservice, it returns the following data-

< assystEJB >

< AssystUser >

< id >

<! [CDATA [1409]] >

< /ID >

< shortCode >

<! [CDATA [TESTUSER]] >

< / shortCode >

< / AssystUser >

< / assystEJB >

What could be maybe wrong with integration?

Pointers are appreciated!

Thank you!

No guys, his problem with binding HTTP adapter, when the REST service is invoked by using the HTTP adapter, it adds its own operation.

Due to which this error is visible. I now invoke service REST of java and its working fine.

This occurs if you have several (different webservices) WSDL imported into your project and they share common artifacts(XSD's). In this case, what you do, it's just that you separated from xsd to wsdl and deleted conflicts. This approach is suggested when you do not have control on WSDL that may be provided by different team and they all share common XSD.

  • [MAF - AMPA] How the custom/override error after the failure of the asynchronous Web service call?

    Hi Experts,

I am looking for a best practice to make the error handling in the MAF.

Currently my application is using AMPA and call the REST service.

However, I would like to know how to handle this kind of error

    1. the device is not connected to the network (can we personalized it?)

    error2.png

    2. the device is connected to the network but cannot call service

    error1.png

3 and the other exceptions of the asynchronous call to the AMPA

In addition, how to mark a method call in the exception handler?

referring to this http://multikoop.blogspot.com/2014/02/adf-handling-exceptions-from_14.html in ADF tf we mark as exception handler.

    Best regards

    Hendry

    Hendry,

You have several options. It depends on how you want to handle exceptions:

-If you just want to hide the mistakes of web service end-user call, you can set the showWebServiceInvocationErrors property in the persistence - mapping.xml to false (you want to generally this set to false, by putting your application in production, the default value is true, because during development, it is more convenient to directly see the errors of appeal WS)

-If you want to display a custom error message, you can create a subclass of RestJSONPersistenceManager, register for this subclass using the property "remotePersistenceManager" in persistence - mapping.xml and override the handleInvokeRestServiceError method.

It depends also how you want to process POST/PUT/DELETE requests that fail. Do you want the AMPA runtime register this request as pending for the runtime synchronization action automatically tries to return the claim later? Or you just want to display an error message to the end-user with a text like "try again later?

  • The analysis of the external Web service XML data IS

    Hi all

I'm looking to analyze the data returned by the Scopus API with Apex webservice.

First of all, I tried parsing the JSON, however, it seems that the apex_json.parse function does not produce a result when the string contains a ':' character.  (It looks a lot like the webservice returns returns a JSON XML version below, namespace and all).

So far, the best I could do is to extract the total results by XMLTable:

    SELECT results.totalResults INTO numResults FROM

            '/search-results' PASSING xmlResult
             COLUMNS
             totalResults NUMBER PATH '//opensearch:totalResults') results;

I'm not convinced that using XMLTable is the best solution, but that's what I've learned to work.  Take it further proves to be more problematic.

Ideally, what I want to do is get the Subproperty, favorite-name/given-name, favorite-name/initials, favorite-name and affiliation-affiliation/current-name in a collection, as well as the entrance of <>... < / input >.  The user can then select the correct author, and we can use the full set of data to process.

I'm sure that my problem comes down to manage multiple with XPath, although namespaces that putting my XPath through Validator online gives the desired result, it does not work for me in my PL/SQL.

If someone could provide some tips and suggestions, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you very much

It is not clear where you encountered problems because no details of the attempts to obtain the required information has been provided. Is not clear from the description exactly what "...". along with the ..." means, so I assumed that you want to store this item as an XML fragment in the collection. It is therefore necessary to use a loop with apex_collection.add_member as the most effective create_collection_from_queryb2 method doesn't have support to complete the collection XML column:

    ...

/* Assuming the xmlResult variable is set somewhere previously... */

      apex_collection.create_or_truncate_collection('SCOPUS_RESULTS');

      for scopus_entry in (
        select
            se.*

  • Passing parameters from the request to an external Web Service

    Hi all

I'm not new to ODI, but today I have to work with Web services, something I've never done before.
    so I need help.

My new project aims to fill a DB table, but the only way to do it is passing data through a web service.
The web service already exists and I can't create a new one, so I guess that by using Data Services ODI is not a solution.
This web service is waiting for the values in the column, and there is an insert in the final table.
Finally, I want to call this Web Service and pass through the settings from a query of RDBMS.

Before creating this post, I searched around articles and documentations and the only thing I found was on the documentation of ODI, but was really short:

Using the mechanism of binding for applications:
It is possible to use the mechanism of binding when using a web service call in a procedure. With this method, it is possible to call a web service for each row returned by a query by setting the request based on the values of the line

So it seems to be possible, but if you have some clues on how to do it please let me know...

    Hi Brice...

    How are you my friend?

    It's not that difficult...

Have you ever used the tool of odiInvokeWebService?

All you need to do is call this tool in a target tab of proceedings and in the use of the source of the query.

Don't worry about variables "bind", call the kind of substitution ' # ', it will work better.

    Does this make any sense?

  • ODSI web service calls

    Hello

I want to route the ODSI web service calls to different hosts in different environments. In other words, in my development environment, I don't want to call a quick service to "myosb - dev.mycompany.com:7001", but in production, I don't want to call the same service to the "myosb - prod.mycompany.com:8021".

I see that I can configure a different port for the Physics Department in the ODSI administration console. However, it is not very practical, since the original WSDL must contain information port for all environments from the get-go. If the service is reinstalled in the production, I need to update the wsdl file and redeploy my data space for moving. This can be a problem due to the cycle of deployment of my app be out of sync with the service that I give the floor.

My question is: is it possible to configure the addresses to host more dynamically? Is it possible to use a variable to control this information a set of services that are located on the same server?

Go to the Console ODSI. Click your data space. Click the physical Source (at the bottom of the left panel).
Click on "Web Services" and select the Web service you want to change.

You will see a place where you can specify a 'new value' for the wsdl file. So if you make a copy of your wsdl and the change of the

to the other server, you could specify that wsdl.

It seems you could also copy the "service" element (or just the "port" element) in the original wsdl, and substitute in the ODSI console for the appropriate service or port. I've never tried that. I'm not sure if you also need to copy any elements that refer to the service or port.

  • Problem during the call to an external web service - CRM 2013

    Hello everyone.

    It's my scenario:

I do a real-time CRM data integration with other software. I have deployed several plugins, for the most part in messages to create/update, for entities I want to synchronize. The developers of other software gave me the web service endpoint and I created the client using svcutil. Manually, I created the link and gave it to the generated client, as well as the end point. In the events of the first, I could synchronize some records, but I had a few mapping errors. I debugged the plugin, corrected errors, and when I want again to the tests, the plugin is throw me an exception when any method of the web service. Let me explain the problem:

    The exception:

I have instantiated the web service client (passing the binding and endpoint). And when I try to call any method (e.g. Add), it throws the exceptions "InvalidOperationException. I started to debug the code and I noticed that just before calling the web service method, the stills in 'Opening' client state (as you can see in the picture above). Of course that throws the exception.

    { The complete exception is: ' cannot modify the purpose of communication, System.ServiceModel.ChannelFactory'1 [IAxxisWcfServices], although it is in the Opening State. "} System.SystemException {System.InvalidOperationException}

I did a test, outside the environment of the CRM, on a console application with the same conditions of the customer web services (generation with svcutil manually passing the same binding and endpoint), and the same order, the code of the plugin and everything works well. The State of the customer never stills 'Opening', so I put discarded any problem with the web service.

Does anyone know if I'm missing something in the code? or some configurations?

CRM is 2013 on site with the latest updates.

    Thanks in advance.

  • CASE to call external web services

    Hello

I wonder what I should put in place to make calls to external web services providing data, which must be kept by the CAs in a record store.

Could someone give me some advice?

I think it must be different, then from the analyses of the documents or sites Web.

    Heiko,

What is the format of data that you get from the web service?

I'm not aware of frank manner (out of the box) to obtain Web service data in the ERMS. You have two options:

~ Add an intermediate step, like get Web service data in a database or store the answer in the form of XML file, then pointing to your to that source intermediate certification authorities.

~ Write java code using the API short to get the web service data and write this in a record store.

It will work only after that the process is 'complete'.. then you need to check the status... .and when that is complete, then you can check the results.

    1. 1. with the help of RestSession.createSession providing the user name and password.
    2. 2. or by using ProfileServices.loginUser or ProfileFormHandler

    Can someone please clarify

If you call the REST web service from a Java client, you can create a RestSession object using the createSession method. But in your case you seem to be invoking it with an HTTP request, which, by default, would be considered a GET request by application of the REST of the ATG. So either a GET, he would try to get a property "loginUser" of the component/atg/userprofiling/ProfileServices (based on your URL) that would always fail.

To call the method ProfileServices loginUser() with your argument, you need to tell the system to the REST of the ATG to process your incoming request not GET, but as a demand that you can do to atg-rest-http-method of the parameter control in your application like this

    http:localhost:8080/rEST/bean/atg/userprofiling/ProfileServices/loginUser? [email protected]& arg2 = password & atg-rest-http-method = POST

It should work in this way, your restSecurityConfiguration.xml is correct.

  • Is it possible to recover all the virtual machines in a cluster in a single web service call?

I tried to retrieve the list of all virtual machines in a cluster to a single web service call, but to no avail. It seems that there is no direct web service API to achieve this goal. Alternative options must first recover the hosts or data warehouses in the cluster and then recover virtual machines from there. But still, if anyone has an idea how we can do this please let me know. All help information will be greatly appreciated.

It is possible, if you use the PropertyCollector.

(It is usually the answer to questions of the form "Is it possible to retrieve the X in a single web service call").

    Call"propertycollector.retrievecontents:

    http://www.VMware.com/support/developer/VC-SDK/visdk41pubs/ApiReference/vmodl.query.PropertyCollector.html#retrieveContents

allows you to retrieve a whole bunch of stuff in a single call, which you then have to go through and interpret.

A snippet of code Java VI is not-really-tested to find virtual machines in a ComputeResource (cluster) is attached.

  • Web service call - works locally but not on mobile?

    Hello

I have a web service call (the service is hosted on the cloud is an external area of permamnent) which works fine when I test locally using the Flex Buritto built in emulator or directly by using my browser.

But when trying a android phone (tried a few of them - link one, nexus s and galaxy tab) the service is called but never returns anything.

Is there a good way to trace of call / understand the problem?

    Thank you

Export project based on your device...

If your developling locally you must do in order to get the remote calls to work

    That should solve your problem

  • WSDL to code generation. AS - code does not work with the simple web service

    Hello
I tried to get a very simple web service to work in Flex 3 with AS classes that are generated through the new feature "import WSDL (Web Service)" and for the life of me, I can't make it work. I have attached the WSDL and the little bit of action script code that I use to call my web service.
I don't get any errors during the process of "Import Web Service" and or make mistakes when my web service call. In fact, I printlns on the side server, and I see that my web service method is called. But he is not the only argument that I'm moving to ActionScript and my ActionScript receives either the return value.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

    Thank you very much

    Jason Sapp

    Hi Jason,

It seems that you have a hot from our known issues. You use a literal document unveiled what I see in the code pasted above wsdl. According to the bug [ http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-11388 the code generator does not correctly determine what kind of doc-literal wsdl you and sets the isWrapped and wrappedQName on the request and response of the incorrect operation messages.]

To resolve this problem, go to the class BaseEchoService.as and comment out these two lines:
    requestMessage.isWrapped = true;
    responseMessage.isWrapped = true;

    Then, everything should work fine.

    Hope this helps,
    Cristian

  • Impossible to activate the HP Web services for my HP Laserjet 200 MPF M276nw color

Kindly help, I tried to update the firmware, but still my web services will not turn on.

    G

    Hi GayleneC,

Thank you for the update and additional information.  I really appreciate it.

You indicated that you tried to update the firmware, I wonder because the printer is not connecting to web services that is may not have logged in to check the updates of the firmware.  I have included two links, one is for the Windows of HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility version , the other is for the Mac version of the HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility. Please choose your operating system and we will try and update the firmware without using the front panel of the printer.

After you run the firmware update utility, please disable IPv6 wireless via built-in web server.  Please follow the steps below:

    1. To open the HP embedded Web server, type the IP address of product in a Web browser address line. When it opens, it should look like the screenshot below.

    2. Please click on the 'Network' tab as highlighted in the screenshot above.

    3. Please click on 'Advanced' in the side menu on the left as indicated above. Please disable IPv6 and click 'apply '.

    4. Please click on the "HP Web Services" tab.

    5. Please click on the button "activate". Print the newsletter of Web Services.

  • Unable to connect to the VMware web service: invalid key file

    Hello

We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

    We tried the following workarounds:

    • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
    • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
    • Re on the keystore password

    No change at all...

Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Stone

You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

It is also possible to host Adatper framework/java problems I've seen often.

If you need more information, you will need to prosecute TAC with your service contract please. Normally, we try to solve no newspapers on the forums.
