Issues for scheduled task

Hi guys,.

I have a few scheduled tasks that works well.  I tried to create a new scheduled task today. It is a Powercli script that is compression and encryption of output with the public key and send by Mail.

So, for some reason, a scheduled task that runs through without error > but did not have encryption.

-the PS file works manually without problem

-manually tested a bat file with the full path to powershell.exe and PS = works as well

Just once, I try to plan its > it does not Code. simply paste the Code problem

do I need special Arguments in the scheduled task?  It has not set up for others.

# #Encrypt #.

$gpgpath = "C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU\GnuPG\pub\gpg.exe.

$recipient1 = "xxxxxx".

$recipient2 = "xxxxxx".

$encrypt = "recipient $recipient1 - recipient $recipient2 F:\Report\vCenter\Finance\9-6-2016\Finance.zip--encrypt--.

$Process = start-Process $gpgpath $encrypt - WindowStyle hidden

If I make a New point between lines > it creating folders as test > just to see if script is running or not.

I have some ideas right now, why the scripts - but does not not the encryption Code. As manually PS is doing well.

I even made with 7-zip. and that works well.

Perhaps some clues?

Best regards

Max

You specify an account under which the scheduled task to run?

By default, this is the system account if I remember correctly.

System wakes up to the task at the right time, but falls asleep almost immediately after starting the task.  Power management is set to put the computer to sleep after 20 minutes, but eventlog shows the alarm system at 01:59 for the scheduled task and to sleep at 02:02.

  • Change the time for the scheduled task, I added

I created a schedular system file (.vbs) that supports the backup of the database of one of my application. I added this file to the scheduled task. I put the time of execution to 15:00 daily, now I want to update at the time of execution of the task sacheduled. How can I do? I use Windiws 7 Home premium.

    Hi Aurélie Rozier,.

Click on the Start button and type "Calendar" in the search box. The option tasks planning must appear in the search list. Click (or double-click) on this option to launch scheduled tasks. When the window tasks planned opens leaves the Task Scheduler list fill out and then look to the bottom of this list for planning thye name, that you want to change. When you have found, right-click on it and choose Properties. In the Properties window, click the triggers tab and then click Edit at the bottom of the special editing window. You should be able to change the time from there.

  • How to manage the timestamp custom scheduled task, written for target recognition

    Hello

I wrote a custom users reconciile system scheduled task target... but whenever I run the scheduled task to target Recon... it generates the Recon. events for all users.

How to handle this... How to pass the timestamp value to custom target Recon scheduled task.

That is why ignoreEvent() API is provided in the interface of the IOM.

But he does this method comapare ignoreEvent() values with IOM user profile user or users process form values?
Yes, it works for both. The input of this API argument is the name of the resource object and the Office of receiver can be approved / target you created. SO for your resource target reconciliation, it works for you.

  • IOM - how set up a notification for ANY scheduled task got error/failure

    Hello

Can we in place a notification for ANY task scheduled (generally) in which case it fails?
I know that we can develop a custom on-demand task and then send a notification through Java code but I think on the analysis of the aspects, I mean, if a scheduled task that must be completed successfully had a mistake, IOM admin may be notified to work on the incident.

  • Strange problems with scheduled tasks

    Hello Microsoft community.

I have a domain with many servers (windows Server 2003), and there is a database of oracle on one of them. I usually use a batch file to back up the oracle database, and I'm sure that this lot works perfectly.
So I logged on the server that contains the oracle database and create a new weekly scheduled task to back up my database, and the timing worked well in the first day.
The next day, I logged on the server to make sure that the backup works, but I found a sentence (cannot start) under the status column and (0x1) under the column last result.
I tried to delete the task and create it again, but nothing has changed.
I used both domain administrator account and the Local Administrator account, but nothing has changed.
I tried to check the task when I connect and disconnect, but nothing has changed.

The accounts that I used to create the task have the full control permissions on the source folder that contains the batch files so the destination folder that contains the backup files.
The Task Scheduler service is set to automatic type and its status is started.
Whenever I double click the backup batch file works fine, but the task still does that for a time.

    What should I do?

    Kind regards.

  • What is the scheduled task ' in * ' (there are a lot of tasks (At25 - At192))

I use Ccleaner on my desktop and it showed a lot of tasks scheduled with the name 'At' and a number behind them (25-192). They seem to be run by the same file "WQ3203G0.exe", so I was wondering what all these tasks/is this file?

There is a certain malware (details of which I can't find in my notes) which creates a lot of scheduled tasks in your system, so it seems that your system is currently or has been infected by malware.

Tell us about your system and run some known malware scanners on request and you can clean up the mess that might be left behind.

Since the implementation of the Microsoft Answers forum does not ask for any kind of information system when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a genuine XP installation CD bootable, which is the same Service as your installed Service Pack (this is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

Download, install, update, and make at least an analysis full (not at the same time) with these free malware detection programs:
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

These comprehensive analyses can take some time, but you really need to run.  SAS will probably be just a bunch of Internet tracking cookies, but you can remove them.  Once you have done at least a full analysis, you can do quick scans in the future to save time and save the analyses complete for when you have more time or are really suspicious of an infection of the system.

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

  • Scheduled task does not play if already open WMP, trying to avoid manual close

I'm in a work centre that will make announcements every day on a speaker system that is run by windows media player. I set up a scheduled task to all files that will play, but once the said file is played WMP does not close automatically. This does not seem like a problem, but if nobody closes on WMP, the next scheduled task will not - play which completely defeated the purpose to automate the process and our workers will have to still remember to close WMP 3 or 4 times a day, otherwise nobody gets the announcement.

I have tried implementing a command line with /play wmplayer start/close c:myfile.wav as an executable file and run it with the Task Scheduler instead of the wav file... it did not work. Namely, the /close function was abandoned with WMP.

Is it possible that I can continue to use WMP and completely automate this process without the manual close WMP after each scheduled task?

    Thanks, Ido

    Hello

Thank you for choosing to post in the Microsoft community.

Unfortunately, the question is not clear. The issue to better understand let us know a few things.

    a. What is exactly the question that you challenge?

    b. is the utility of scheduled task does not?

  • How to make a scheduled task to close after 5 minutes?

I have a program that should run for a minute or two, but sometimes crashes.  I created a scheduled task to run every hour, 10-minute course.  Everyonce in a while, however, he crashes and prevents it from running again the next time.  How can I stop the program after 5 minutes?

    Hello

    1. Are what program you referring?
    2. What scheduled task you are trying to run for each hour, 10-minute courses?

You will get an adjustment to close the task if it runs for more than an hour.

I suggest you try these methods and check the status of the issue.

    Method 1:

I would say allows you to delete a scheduled task, restart the computer and re-scheduled task and check the status of the issue.

    Schedule a task.

    Method 2:

Keep the computer in a clean boot and check the status of the issue.

  • Exchange Connector - scheduled task, running time

    Hello

Does anyone have experience with long-term when you run the scheduled task to "Exchange target resource user Reconsiliation" for the first time (full reconsiliation)
It worked for about an hour now and I don't know if it's fake or not. In the event log, I get a bunch of them:
oracle.iam.connectors.icfcommon.recon.ReconEvent: putSingleField: attribute [Message body Format *] not found in the connector object.

    * It varies, e.g. [Format Message prefer to use]

    Advice will be appriciated :)

What version of the connector and what version of OIM? I saw problems with the connector of the ICF and the way in which it is recognised. A few bugs:

1 14757197-> it is to solve the problem where the Get-DistributionGroup is heated in the connector for all users, even if we had removed the configuration of IOM to make distribution of the user groups. In our environment, it's take more then 2 minutes to get distribution group a user of the.

2 14759585-> base connector does not any parameter search for the ORGANIZATIONAL unit in the work of the annex, so the way it works is that it picks up all the user defined in the resource base then iterates through each of them to match the filter criteria in the planning work and creates events if the filter matches. That means, is that all users are loaded into the memory of the Server Connector first, and then they are checked for recon rule. This affects the performance in a negative way. A means of circumvention, it is searching for base in resource limited to a specific organizational unit, but if you have several units of organization and an AD forest with multiple domains, you need to create several resources and which may impact your design of the access policy (as applicable). So, we had this fixed bug where work planning would be an additional parameter of the UO there where we want to get the users of. If you have a very high number of users, it may even crash your server connector. This bug also solves the problem where the filter is now supported for exchange attributes (not all good) in the scheduled task. So, you can put a filter to reconcile (or basically interview) for human mailboxes only.

3 14786992-> this issue got to the mailbox database. The connector works from basic is to run the Get-MailboxDatabase command for each user with no - possibility of identity. What this means is that this command brings
all the databases in the system and returns the last in the list as the user. Two effects here, performance if the number of databases in our case is huge (80) and second is data incorrect in the IOM. Even if the user has e-mail data in the data store 'A' IOM would show that the data store is "Z".

I don't remember anymore but searching metalink and you should find one or two more that we have opened.
