Issues of administrator XP

I tried to access my computer in mode without failure, but it request administrator password that I do not know and has not implemented.

Also, when I boot the only user that is displayed is a limited user and can't change administrator because I do not have the password and cannot access.

It's almost as if I was locked out of my own computer.

I have error Acronis Managed Machine to come and it's the only thing that I changed the password recently on my computer.

No idea if this is what caused the blocking? How does work and how can I change it?

I tried just about everything I know in addition to taking a hammer to the computer and that's why I'm here.

Thanks in advance. KN

Please, to drop the hammer and slowly move away the computer... lol.

When you start in safe mode, and are presented with the Admin account you just press enter without entering information in the password field?

Unfortunately, we are very limited on MS Answers as to the amount of the aid, we will provide when it comes to questions of password. You may need to use Google to find a solution.

  • Sending information to the issuer and confidential form to a database

I have an application form for an air show, can be seen here www.hollisterairshow.com/volunteerapp.php and when the user clicks on submit their information is added to a MySQL database and the user is redirected to a "thank you" page, this works very well and may be sufficient "such what." Try it if you want!

I would try to improve it a little bit in two ways:

    1. View information of the volunteers submitted on the "thank you" page and/or
    2. Give the user the ability to send by e-mail a copy of their information on their own (it includes days they expect to be available, favorite activity etc.)

The information that the user submits also includes personal information such as email address, phone number and mailing address and are therefore not accessible by anyone other than the issuer and administrator of aeronautics or me. I have a password protected to secure the area for the administrator to access all the info and it works fine. The primary key of the volunteer table is a "volunteernumber" which is a numeric field that is incremented by 1 automatically when recording is written in the table.

    So my concerns are:

    1. How to move the volunteernumber back to "thank you" page so that it is not visible to the user (if I used a URL parameter the user could see that they were, say, volunteers number 29 and it wouldn't take a lot of skill to change to a different number of volunteer and see someone other info)
    2. I think I read somewhere that the sending of an e-mail message can open me up to malicious attacks - not very likely, but still possible

I would really appreciate a pointer in the right direction. I use DW CS4.

    Thank you

  • configuring_oracle_net

    Hi all

I have a query of oracle net for replication configuration...

I have 2 databases on 2 different computers.

name of the Master database with the net service name is orcl and ip = 192.168.1.10

customer (the materialized view site) is the name of database and network hbfm and ip = 192.168.1.11 = service name

now for the success of replication, the client's tnsnames.ora file do the following changes:
    1. the host 192.168.1.10 =
    2 SERVICE_NAME = orcl

    Am I wrong?

    I use 10.2.0.1.0 oracle
    concerning

each tnsnames.ora file should have a network service name and therefore access to the participation of other databases

Which is exactly the same thing that what I said then, "each database must have entered his $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora tns for other databases"

Scroll through the thread and notice that you had posted tnsnames.ora entries that point to exactly the same combination of HOST + PORT + SERVICE_NAME. Thus, the two entries are linking to that same base.
Now, you have posted entries that show that the two databases on two servers different 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.11

Please do not use the terms "database of the customer" or "client site. A client is the software - SQL * Plus, T.O.A.D., PLSQL developer, Developer SQL, Oracle Enterprise Manager Console etc. - that you use to connect to the database and the issue of administrative orders using the language SQL, PLSQL and APIs procedures.

Oracle database console is a client to the databases.
hbfm and hbfp are identifiers for the two databases, who both have the same name of "orcl", on two different servers.
You will later have problems with the installation of multimaster, because the names of two databases must be different and the GLOBAL_NAMES parameter must be set to TRUE so that Oracle can identify them as two different databases. In the real world, two different databases have two different global names.

ORA-12170 research in documentation of Error Messages.
    12170 error is:

    ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout occurred
Cause: The server shut down because connection establishment or communication with a client failed to complete within the allotted time interval. This may be a result of network or system delays; or this may indicate that a malicious client is trying to cause a Denial of Service attack on the server.
Action: If the error occurred because of a slow network or system, reconfigure one or all of the parameters SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT, SQLNET.SEND_TIMEOUT, SQLNET.RECV_TIMEOUT in sqlnet.ora to larger values. If a malicious client is suspected, use the address in sqlnet.log to identify the source and restrict access. Note that logged addresses may not be reliable as they can be forged (e.g. in TCP/IP).

Your OEMConsole is not able to connect to this IP address + combination PortNumber. You have an active firewall? Is the VM database, a server that is not configured to allow connections from a client that has a different IP address?

As to your question about replication of clues... what EXACTLY are you trying to do? You started off saying that you are "replication via the materialized views. Where are the clues in the image? A materialized view is a local representation data retrieved through a query. (Or search the documentation for a formal definition, better it is of a MV). You generate clues on a MV if necessary.
The MV is different from the source table. Source one or more tables may have clues. The MV may have clues. There is no "replication" to do.

If you speak of MultiMaster replication, Tables and indexes are replicated as objects via some DDL statements.

    I suggest that you understand:
    1. that the servers, data bases are on.
    2. If the SQLNet connectivity is enabled.
    3. the question whether the two databases have different names.
    4. the question of if you are replicating tables or create materialized views.

If you configure a production environment in the near future, do not use 10.2.0.1. Use 11.2.0.2 or 10.2.0.5
Consider learning Oracle Streams or Golden Gate as long as other options.

Getting back to the basics. I don't know what 'book' you follow. How about you read the documentation?

It is 10.2 on Advanced Replication documentation:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B19306_01/server.102/b14226/TOC.htm
It's literature 11.2 on Advanced Replication:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e10706/TOC.htm

(You can also find documentation on water courses in Oracle database documentation set from the 'List of books' link. Golden Gate is a separate product).

  • The CF Page SLOW response

I have a rather robust query that draws an oracle server. The page won't load - and always crashes on a timing error after 60 seconds. If I immediately revive if properly load in a few seconds.

If I cut and paste a SQL of the query, the query editor runs in less than 4 seconds.

Obviously, this must be some kind of issue CF Administrator - perhaps something about how I put it in place. I have added the company, which runs an Oracle DB on a server. I am a novice when it comes to the configuration of the system - all the tips you have, if you would be material for a beginner, would be appreciated.

OK, let's go this way (the discussion of CFQUERYPARAM). But you say: "the page won't load - and always crashes on a timing error after 60 seconds. If I immediately revive if properly load in a few seconds. If I cut and paste a SQL of the query, the query editor runs in less than 4 seconds. Obviously, this must be some kind of issue CF administrator... »

Well, I would not jump to that conclusion. I mean, say you that the first performance was slow, but then a refresh of the page run fast. That sounds just like it took time for Oracle to compile the query, and then find and load the data (in its cache) and past again to see the fact that he ran fast the 2nd time seems to confirm this, as does your query execution in Oracle directly. Each of them could be re - run the execution plan created the first time and can tear out recordings of Oracle buffers.

To confirm this is to change the SQL code (running in Oracle directly) for the other columns. Which will cause the Oracle SQL statement compilation. May also change the Where clause to obtain various documents (so different load data into Oracle stamps). This query takes so "longest"? If so, if you run the same code in CF (after that), it turns more 'fast '? If so, this could confirm these suspicions.

I realize, she's maybe not, but it seems to exclude. Things are usually not completely mysterious.

There are also ways you can ask the DBMS to report the execution plan and statistics on the creation and execution of the query, on the side DB, although these are not always readily available to CFML. Indeed, the tool that I recommend for such a case in SQL Server SQL Server Profiler, which allows you to look at what the queries come in SQL Server SEE (among others) and shows a lot of details. I imagine that tools like this for Oracle, too. It may be paying more on what she things on these queries if/when they run slowly.

    Hope this is useful.

  • Windows 7 Administrator issues - programs will not start

I just upgraded from Vista to Windows. I thought that everything went OK but I noticed even if my user account is an administrator account, windows media player does not start unless I opened by clicking right and "Run as Administrator". Also in IE8, I can't download and some forms does not appear unless I 'Run AS Administrator'

    Any help please?

    David

    Hi David Spencer,.

I suggest that you allow the default Administrator and check if it works.

    1. open an elevated command prompt.

    i. Click Start.
    II. on all programs.
    III. click on accessories.
IV. right click on command prompt.
    v. click on run as administrator.

    2. to activate the hidden - built-in Administrator account

    (A) in the elevated command prompt, type
NET user administrator / Active: Yes, and then press enter

    3. to disable the hidden - built-in Administrator account

    (A) in the elevated command prompt, type
NET user administrator / active: No. and press enter

    4. close the elevated command prompt.

    5. close the session, and you will now see the built-in Administrator account log additional icon (active) or removed (disabled) to the log on screen.

I still have the same problem persists then, I suggest you perform the clean boot.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".
To perform a clean boot on a computer, follow these steps.

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

Please follow the system in the boot environment. If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to an application or a service, we have disabled. You can use the MSCONFIG tool again to reactivate the disabled one by one element to find the culprit.

If your issue is resolved, follow the how to determine what is causing the problem section in KB article to narrow down the exact source.

  • EUL5. SQL and other administrative issues

I am responsible for creating reports for an application based on Oracle.

As part of the purchase, the supplier of the application supplied discoverer.  The seller installed discoverer.  The provider support is not very well on their own request, so I don't even try to get help from their share of issues of discoverer.

Some of the users of the application build reports using discoverer; I, personally, hate it.

I am, by nature of my post, considered the Discoverer administrator, however.  I don't know anything about the software, but have recently found how I can get the end-user reports shared for me (for purposes of, then, sharing to others) through SQL (I know, I know - is not supposed to do it this way - but to get my end users to track the requests on the part is like pulling teeth).

In read so, however, it became clear that I had no EUL functions installed for END user license holder.

I tried to run eul5.sql, and I get "insufficient permissions", if!

What owner eul permission would be missing, and how I give you that?  (I have access level of the Oracle database sys taking the NLY).

    Thank you!

Start with the following privs to the eul_owner:

I think preventing the admin account to remove or install devices.  This causes a problem.  Looks like it's AD GP as is grayed out and I can't add locally.  The network team claim there is no GPs AD to limit the admin account local they know of.

Also, I try to use the process on the machine monitor, but who needs administrator rights and he repeats that the local administrator account is not a member of the Administrators group, but it is.

Any ideas?  Even if it's just he Process Monitor bit setting?

And looking at the photo can someone explain which means that icon next to load and unload device drivers.  It is different from the others and think that it is linked, may be trying to tell me that it is a strategy of AD Group.

I talked to the networks, they said there is not together AD GP for this.  I used the local administrator account to create a new local administrator account and put it in the Administrators group.  Connected to it and it also has the same problem.

    Any ideas?

The symbol, that you reference indicates that the setting has been locked by group policy and is not editable.  When I saw it in the past, the only way I could replace, it is using "secedit".  For more information about this command:

    Hi RDCICON,

    1. which device you are connected to the USB port?

    2. you still get the same message when you connect the usb device or use the device on another computer?

    Method 1:

You can try to run the tool built into Vista Network Diagnostics. To do this, click Start, go to network and select network share.

  • Windows Vista administrator issues

Help, please! I just bought a new computer, and somehow, I'm not the administrator! I tried everything I could think of it won't let me edit my account or log in as administrator. I was going even to reinstall Vista but I can't do either because I'm not the administrator.

    Hi Dreaneni

If there is no administrator account on the system, you should be able to boot in Safe Mode and use the built-in Administrator account. This account is designed to be used in emergencies when no other administrator accounts are available.

It is a simple procedure, step by step, but it's long. Print this message before you continue.

    Click the button start .
On the bottom right side of the Start menu, click on the arrow icon.
In the context menu, select restart.

As soon as the screen goes black, start typing the F8 key.
Keep tapping the button until a black screen with white lettering appears.
It comes to the Start screen.

    Safe mode should be highlighted.
If safe mode is not highlighted, use the arrow keys to select this option.
    Press the ENTER key.

The computer should start at the login screen. (Be patient, this may take a few minutes)
The login screen, you should see an account named administrator.

Click on the administrator of account.
There is no password for this account, then the computer should boot directly into Safe Mode.
(Again, be patient, it will take a few minutes)

The screen will look strange, because it is diagnostic for Windows mode.

Once the desktop appears, you are now logged with full administrator privileges.

Go to Start , then click Control Panel.
On the left side of the Control Panel window, click the Classic view menu item.

After the update of the screen, scroll down and double-click user accounts.

In the user accounts screen, click Manage another account.
Select the name of the account that you connect normally.

In the Edit window, select change the account type.
In the window choose a new type of account , click the administrator option.
Click Change the account Type .

Exit control panel and restart the computer.

The account that you use should now be an administrator account.

    Let us know the results.

  • Can't get out administrator accout and other issues

    Hello
I don't seem to be able to disconnect from the administrator on the setting of a standard user account.  It is this way for a very long time.  Is it Ok?  I'm not banking online or buy products, so I think I'm pretty sure.

The other problem is with a block on my backup utility.  It has already happened and usually disappears after a few months.

Security software is off at the start and the third-party firewall.  It's ok, as long as I do not initiate a connection and start everything manually.

True not concerned, but mostly just want to know why?
