iStore active basket in the database
does anyone know the name of database table that contains information about current basket (not converted to order again)?I looked at IBE_ACTIVE_QUOTES_ALL with quote_header_id as the cart id, active_quote_id as cartid but it did not work.
Thank you.
You can find this information in the following tables.
1 aso_quote_headers_all - cart headers
2 aso_quote_lines_all - trolley lines
4 aso_quote_line_details (if you have the config and service lines)
3 aso_payments _ on the cart payment information-
4 aso_price_adjustments (if the basket has discounts)
5 aso_shipments - shipping method information
I hope this helps.
Thank you

Active session on the database
Hi all
again, I have a question, this time about the rules and alarms.
I found the rule on the total Session limit... This rule indicates the percentage of the database connection.
My question is... where is the applicable rule for the number or percentage of Session Active, because it is active and Total Session are not the same thing. I use Oracle cartridge 5.7.5.2
Maybe someone knows how to create the rule for number of Session Active, because this number is obviously on the dashboard.
Thank you
Nikola
Hi Nicola,
You can certainly implement such a custom rule because relevant data are already available in Foglight topology.
You can create a custom rule using the topology summary of the session:
Relevant metrics that are located under the path /clusters/ [instance X] /sessions_summary_data/ topology
- active_sessions
- active_sessions_pct
If you don't know how to create a custom rule, please contact your account manager, Foglight and it will direct you to the relevant PSO object that it can create for you.

Failed to refresh the database after a forced shutdown of the business rule
Hello Experts!
I am currently test and adjustment of performance of business rules in Hyperion Planning 9.3.1. I started a business rule in the Regional service Console that ran a lot too long so I decided to stop it manually. But after this manual stop when I try to refersh Essbase of Hyperion Planning (Administration > manage the database > database update) I get the following error:
+ com.hyperion.planning.olap.EssbaseException: impossible to restructure. There are other active users on the database [%s] (1013101).
I remember having forced company rule stops earlier in other Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 deployments and they did not generate such errors. So could you help me on how to stop Hyperion Planning of this error after manual business rule stops because it's very likely I'll have do them in the future? Thank you very much!Are you sure he permanently stopped and everyone is out of the database, you can enter into the EAS, see view sessions.
See you soon

Know if the database was activated by tilting or passage to the
Hello
I would like to know if the backup database has been activated by a failover or a failover
I would test triggering one after startup, so access to the database views available in Mount only.
If you have an idea...
Reason: a configuration of Golden on both and the resynchonization process gate is different after failover or passing.
Kind regards
Franck.
Just a quick note, you have probably already discovered, you are looking max on channel...
You probably mean something like this:
Select end_of_redo_type from
(
Select row_number() over (order by stamp desc) rnum,
end_of_redo_type
v $ archived_log
where end_of_redo = 'YES '.
) where rnum = 1;
Also V$ DATAGUARD_STATUS should contain messages (at the backup site) such as "Terminal recovery:...» "during the FAILOVER. But I don't know if this should be taken as reliable information, it "might" be changed in future releases.
Edited: * the related information to the "Terminal recovery:" is based on my own tests * "."

Hey Evan,
Here's the article for SQL Server:
http://communities.quest.com/docs/doc-14838
Your retention settings (Configuration-> retention settings) will only be applied when you stop and start your server service NMS Quest (ptserverservice.exe).
Apart from this, stop the services you can manually delete all the files in data .sdf file. DO NOT DELETE ptdb.sdf. This file contains all of your devices, policies and other settings.

Active Directory and the Source of data in Application Weblogic
Hello
I was asked to find a way to record information of users created via Active Directory in my datasource request so my application can control if the user as authorization.
My application, services to extract the data and the data source will be in the weblogic.
What I found so far that there was to be a supplier Active Directory in the weblogic for authentication, and it will work similar to the SQL provider, put all the users and groups in the weblogic.
Basically which, according to me, I have to do is create something (service or DB package function perhaps) that will allow to establish synchronization between the two AD and my database somehow.
How I can do it, or there is an easier way to do it?
Thank you
Hello
Yes, that is what I suggested in my initial post. In some scenarios, I also use JAVA API for details of user AD and works pretty well.
Thank you

Hello.
I read a lot of discussion and documentation on this subject, but the things I'm trying to work.
I want to connect from Oracle to SQL Server. I did the following steps:
(Taking into account, that I want to connect to a database SQL SERVER called GS2PIASQL03\INSTANCE3)
Create the odbc connection in the oracle called running GS2PIASQL03 Server
Name: GS2PIASQL03
Description: GS2PIASQL03
Server: GS2PIASQL03\INSTANCE3
With authentication sql server using a login ID and passwotrd entered by the user
Connect to sql server to obtain default settings for the configuration option extra
User: rema_read
Password: xxxxxxx
Master default database
Use ANSI quoted identifiers
Use nulls, padding and ANSI warnings
Perform the conversion of character data
Finishing and test the source data before TESTS COMPLETED successfully.

Hey Vinny,
No, the host tnsnames.ora must not refer to the place where the SQL * Server database is active. The tnsnames.ora entries is intended to guide the user who calls the database link by using this entry to a listener running on the computer and the port in the entry. The listener then directs the user to everything that is referenced by the SID in the listener. If it is an Oracle database, then you are linked to the database. If this is an entry of gateway referenced by having the (HS = OK) then you are linked to the gateway which then liaises with what non-Oracle database is accessible through the gateway of the option. You cannot directly connect to the non-Oracle database by using the IP address of machine non-Oracle in tnsnames.ora. You need to go through the door entry referenced by the listener to establish the connection.
For the listener, you can set the path to the ORACLE_HOME of the gateway or RDBMS. However, the best option is to give the listener a different name from the default, so for the gateway, you might have-

1. as you have said several times, you performed the restore, then you have not yet checked the parameter above so defined or not?
2. I hope that its very easy to understand ENGLISH characters
3 try to correctly set the parameter and size, try again to display the error (since some changes for thread 1 is necessary (hopefully, you gave 123 repeatedly instead of posting of the number of real change in your message))

Here's my question after tons of research and test without have the right solutions.
Target:
(1) I have a 12.1.0.2 database unique main enterprise 'testdb' as database instance running on the server "node1".
(2) I created physical standby database "stbydb" on the server "node2".
(3) DataGuard running on the mode of MaxAvailability (SYNC) with roll forward in real time 12 default c apply.
(4) primary database has 3 groups of one-man redo. (/oraredo/testdb/redo01.log redo02.log redo03.log)
(5) I've created 4 standby redo logfiles (/oraredo/testdb/stby01.log stby02.log stby03.log stby04.log)
(6) I do RMAN backup (database and archivelog) on the site of relief only.
(7) I want to use this backup for full restore of the database on the primary database.
He is a DR test to simulate the scenario that has lost every primary & Eve total servers.
Here is how to save, on the database pending:
(1) performance 'alter database recover managed standby database Cancel' to ensure that compatible data files
(2) RMAN > backup database;
(3) RMAN > backup archivelog all;
I got elements of backup and copied to primary db Server something like:
/Home/Oracle/backupset/o1_mf_nnndf_TAG20151002T133329_c0xq099p_.BKP (data files)
/Home/Oracle/backupset/o1_mf_ncsnf_TAG20151002T133329_c0xq0sgz_.BKP (spfile & controlfile)
/Home/Oracle/backupset/o1_mf_annnn_TAG20151002T133357_c0xq15xf_.BKP (archivelogs)
So here's how to restore, on the main site:
I clean all the files (data files, controlfiles oder all gone).
(1) restore spfile from pfile
RMAN > startup nomount
RMAN > restore spfile from pfile ' / home/oracle/pfile.txt' to ' / home/oracle/backupset/o1_mf_ncsnf_TAG20151002T133329_c0xq0sgz_.bkp';
(2) modify pfile to convert to db primary content. pFile shows below
*.audit_file_dest='/opt/Oracle/DB/admin/testdb/adump '
* .audit_trail = "db".
* full = '12.1.0.2.0'
*.control_files='/oradata/testdb/control01.ctl','/orafra/testdb/control02.ctl'
* .db_block_size = 8192
* .db_domain = "
*.db_file_name_convert='/testdb/','/testdb /'
* .db_name = "testdb".
* .db_recovery_file_dest ='/ orafra'
* .db_recovery_file_dest_size = 10737418240
* .db_unique_name = "testdb".
*.diagnostic_dest='/opt/Oracle/DB '
* .fal_server = "stbydb".
* .log_archive_config = 'dg_config = (testdb, stbydb)'
* .log_archive_dest_2 = "service = stbydb SYNC valid_for = (ONLINE_LOGFILE, PRIMARY_ROLE) db_unique_name = stbydb'"
* .log_archive_dest_state_2 = 'ENABLE '.
*.log_file_name_convert='/testdb/','/testdb /'
* .memory_target = 1800 m
* .open_cursors = 300
* runoff = 300
* .remote_login_passwordfile = "EXCLUSIVE."
* .standby_file_management = "AUTO".
* .undo_tablespace = "UNDOTBS1.
(3) restart db with updated file pfile
SQLPLUS > create spfile from pfile='/home/oracle/pfile.txt'
SQLPLUS > the judgment
SQLPLUS > startup nomount
(4) restore controlfile
RMAN > restore primary controlfile to ' / home/oracle/backupset/o1_mf_ncsnf_TAG20151002T133329_c0xq0sgz_.bkp';
RMAN > change the editing of the database
(5) all elements of backup catalog
RMAN > catalog starts by ' / home/oracle/backupset / '.
(6) restore and recover the database
RMAN > restore database;
RMAN > recover database until the SNA XXXXXX; (this YVERT is the maximum in archivelog backups that extends beyond the scn of the backup of the data file)
(7) open resetlogs
RMAN > alter database open resetlogs;
Everything seems perfect, except one of the file log roll forward pending is not generated
SQL > select * from v$ standby_log;
ERROR:
ORA-00308: cannot open archived log ' / oraredo/testdb/stby01.log'
ORA-27037: unable to get file status
Linux-x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory
Additional information: 3
no selected line
I intended to use the same backup to restore primary basic & helps record traffic and the downtime between them in the world of real output.
So I have exactly the same steps (except STANDBY restore CONTROLFILE and not recover after database restore) to restore the database pending.
And I got the same missing log file.
The problem is:
(1) complete alert.log filled with this error, not the concern here
(2) now repeat it in real time apply won't work since the Party shall LGWR shows always "WAITING_FOR_LOG."
(3) I can't delete and re-create this log file
Then I tried several and found:
The missing standby logfile was still 'ACTIVE' at present RMAN backup was made.
For example, on db standby, under Group #4 (stby01.log) would be lost after the restoration.
SQL > select GROUP #, SEQUENCE #, USE (s), the STATUS from v$ standby_log;
GROUP # SEQUENCE # USED STATUS
---------- ---------- ---------- ----------
4 19 ACTIVE 133632
5 0 0 UNASSIGNED
6 0 0 not ASSIGNED
7 0 0 UNASSIGNED
So until I take the backup, I tried on the primary database:
SQL > alter system set log_archive_dest_state_2 = delay;
This was the Group of standby_log side Eve #4 was released:
SQL > select GROUP #, SEQUENCE #, USE (s), the STATUS from v$ standby_log;
GROUP # SEQUENCE # USED STATUS
---------- ---------- ---------- ----------
4 0 0 UNASSIGNED
5 0 0 UNASSIGNED
6 0 0 not ASSIGNED
7 0 0 UNASSIGNED
Then, the backup has been restored correctly without missing standby logfile.
However, to change this primary database means break DataGuard protection when you perform the backup. It's not accept on the production environment.
Finally, my real questions come:
(1) what I do may not do on parameter change?
(2) I know I can re-create the control file to redo before delete and then recreate after. Is there any simple/fast to avoid the standby logfile lost or recreate the lost one?
I understand that there are a number of ways to circumvent this. Something to keep a copy of the log file waiting restoration progress and copy up one missing, etc, etc...
And yes I always have done no real-time applies "to the aid of archived logfile" but is also not accept mode of protection of production.
I just want proof that the design (which is displayed in a few oracle doc Doc ID 602299.1 is one of those) that backs up data backup works effectively and can be used to restore the two site. And it may be without spending more time to resume backups or put the load on the primary database to create the database before.
Your idea is very much appreciated.
Thank you!
Hello
1--> when I take via RMAN backup, RMAN does not redo log (ORL or SRL) file, so we cannot expect ORLs or SRL would be restored.
2nd--> when we opened the ORL database should be deleted and created
3rd--> Expecting, SRL should not be an issue.we should be able to do away with the fall.

My Weblogic 12 c StartWeblogic.cmd failed after that I configured the migration of the cluster to the database with the name of the table as none. I can't even to the Server Admin page.
Before that, I remove the. log.lck, process.id, process.lck files in the nodemanager directory

It may sound crazy that I am answering my own post. As he complains about MigrationBasis. I tried to go to the config.xml file and changed
Cluster-0 unicast database TO
Cluster-0 unicast consensus And at least I was able to restart Server Admin and go to the Server Admin page. The Cluster-> Configuration-> Migration is always on view from database as the basis for Migration.

I'm curious to know what the transaction is started next to the database? I use oracle as database and ojdbc6 driver to connect to the db jar.
I'm also curious to know what exactly is a connection? There I can relate to a database session? taken do allow to install a java application on the database server?
Thank you!

Non - autocommit affecting false does NOT create a transaction.
You can EASILY search the Web for definitions of terms such as the transaction, logon session.
The Java tutorials has a track for "aid Operations."
https://docs.Oracle.com/javase/tutorial/JDBC/basics/transactions.html
Turn off autocommit Mode
When a connection is created, it is in autocommit mode. This means that each SQL statement is treated as a transaction and is automatically committed right after his execution. (To be more precise, the default is for a SQL statement to be engaged when it is finished, not when it is executed. A statement is completed when all its result sets and update counts were recovered. In almost all cases, however, a statement is completed and therefore committed, just after his execution.)
How to allow two or more instructions which lie in a transaction is to disable auto-commit mode. This is illustrated in the following code, where
con
is an active connection:on.setAutoCommit(false);
The Java API tells you what a 'link'
Connection (Java SE 7 platform)
A connection (session), with a specific database. The SQL statements are executed and results are returned as part of a connection.
See where it says "connection (session)?
And the Oracle documentation can discuss those from the point of view of DB
https://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/CNCPT/Transact.htm#CNCPT117
Introduction to Transactions
A transaction is a logical, Atomic work unit that contains one or more SQL statements. A transaction includes the SQL statements so that they are all committed, which means they are applied to the database, or all canceled, which means that they are cancelled from the database. Oracle database assigns to each transaction a unique identifier called transaction ID.
Oracle transactions obey the basic properties of a database transaction, known as ACID properties. ACID is an acronym for the following:
. . .
After the end of a transaction, the next executable SQL statement automatically starts the following transaction.
. . .
The Oracle documentation also discuss when a transaction begins - which may be different from another database

- When a

instruction is emitted - When a transaction is explicitly started with one

[CARS] Add the new disk in the database running environment
Hi all
I want to ask a question about oracle RAC especially to add a new disk.
Here's the situation for existing oracle RAC
1. There is 1 oracle clusterware (CRS), ASM and 2 node RAC
2. There is a demand to add a new disk to existing diskgroup
3. all CRS, ASM and RAC is in the online state
I read document oracle (How to add a new disc to year Diskgroup existing RAC Cluster or stand-alone Configuration of ASM (Best Practices).) (Doc ID 557348.1()
My question is,
1. that I should stop the database, ASM and CRS when add a new disk to existing diskgroup?
2. are there steps that has already been proven to add a new disk in an operational environment?
Thank you
Adrian
My question is,
1. that I should stop the database, ASM and CRS when add a new disk to existing diskgroup?
No, you need not bring down the ASM or DB
2. are there steps that has already been proven to add a new disk in an operational environment?
Yes, you can add the disk, ASM automatically rebalance and share the workload on the new disk.
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/server.111/b31107/asmdiskgrps.htm#OSTMG10070

Creating asset - do not fill column subtype in the database table
Hello
I'm having a conclusion active problem newly created in the donor, which means that I can't use in other assets.
What I found that new capital recently, do not have the subtype column overflows into the database. I think that might have effects in the content tree, but I can't even find in the search without any filter bar.
This is the screenshot of the table filtered by flextemplateid:
And here are the results of research, that I get when I search in the content also filtered by flextemplateid tree:
As you can see, those with the correctly filled subtype is indicated.
Someone knows why this phenomenon happens?
What can I do to fix this?
Thank you
Mariana
I could finally see my newly created goods. That's what I did:
Tab admin - configure global search
and then I have re-indexed the assets that I needed.
He fixed it.

Have you not through document link to Gavin at least. It's very simple steps. If you wait until other measures, then won't them.
He had provided the demonstration, at least get in 'google' (you'll have so many links)

Hello
you are using IBM AIX PowerHA for your database (active/passive) configuration. then you just install the binaries 'once' on one of the nodes. then coordinate with your operating system administrator to configure the fail the test scenarios.
for your question. before you start the database, make sure that there are no "orphaned" oracle process using the UNIX grep command:
$ ps - ef | grep ora
Kill the oracle of the hanging of the process to release the lock on the database file handle:
$ kill-9
I hope this helps.
Kind regards
