U2415 bad consistency

I bought a few days ago, Dell U2415 monitor and I noticed a uneven backlighting problem. The lower right corner is brighter on a dark background, and the lower left corner seems to have a patch (as opacifying effect). I don't think it's normal to have such a difference. He will be replaced? What is the procedure?

It is in the production of specifications of uniformity of the backlight. Dell will not exchange it. Inside the first 30 days of the date of delivery of Dell, you can return it for refund. We do not validate our monitors in a dark room. We validate our monitors in the halls with a minimum of 150 lux which is standard office lighting.

  • Cross spectral power and consistency of the 2 signals

    Hello

I try to get the cross-spectral power and consistency of the two signals. I should be able to get this:

"The cross-spectral power and consistency of these 2 signals have been calculated on a window (8.5 minutes) 1024-sample using the fast Fourier transform applied to the 3 overlapping of the panes of 512-sample in the window of 1024 consistency." In each pane, the data were the first linear straightened and with windows by using the Hanning (cosine) function before the calculation of the Fourier transform. The 1024 coherence window was so advanced by 256 samples (2.1 minutes), and the calculation repeated until all BDUS/interval of N - N series have been analyzed.

We used the product of consistency and the cross-spectral energy to weight these 2 effects in order to quantify the degree of the hitch.

I should get this chart type

The RR signal I straightened before that trying to get the power crossed with sampling freq = 2. And I put 2 ways to get it.

consistency too and later the product of the two. Im trying to get the spectrogram and watch later 3d like picture.

    I have attached the vi.

    Consistency is perhaps badly fixed.

    Thanks for the help, guys.

    Kind regards.

you made a few mistakes, example en by overhauling it you can't do the segments overlap, that's why you should go with a loop and the creation of a subset (and this is why I suggested para window ASD)

You must also set the indexing of the product release and do not concatenate, penny you released 2d end that you can use for 3d graphics

FS in the mathscipt should also be in hz, not in seconds, I told you the last time (he is shown in the help)

  • Should be checked for consistency

I received the following message during the time I turn on my computer, "one of your drives should be checked for consistency. You can cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended that you continue. To skip disk checking, press a button within 10 seconds. »

Then I press any key to cancel, but restart the computer again and the same message on the screen shows. Please let me know how I can fix this problem, thanks.

After a regular stop. Turning off too soon may cause chkdsk run. But I guess you do.

Interestingly, something different may be at stake.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/831374 tells a similar message if there are too many files on the disk and that you are not running the latest service pack.

If this happens during more than once then-
Well, if it was the 1st time in 2nd or 3rd then maybe you don't shut down the computer properly, can you just don't let the scan disk utility (the tool that checks your hard drive for consistency) to complete its work when the pc starts. But if this is not the case, then maybe your hard drive has developed bad sectors, or there may be another problem with him.

To check the conditions weather, the above is true then right-click on the drive on which is checked at startup and select scan disk. See the results and you will probably notice the problem yourself.

    Hi DanaCox,

You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

I suggest you chkdsk from the Recovery Console and check if the problem persists.

At the Recovery Console prompt, type which Suits, and then press ENTER:

    CHKDSK [/ p]: [/ r]

Note: At first, try to run chkdsk/p & check if it helps. Later, you can run chkdsk/r.

  • Error: "one of the drives should be checked for consistency" to start the computer

    The original title: disk space

My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5000 running with XP Home Edition. At a hard 100G drive with 2 partitions fat. Recursively shows problem at startup. The message displayed is "one of the drives should be checked for consistency. So when he was checked always check disk space and get stored at 41%. I tried to restore several times, but it is once again no place for a long time.

Could you help me with this?

    Hi RodrigoGodinez,

Sometimes the disk check always starts check the file system on one or more drives for consistency. If no button is pressed, the disk check is aborted. In fact, it is because a data structure of the disc or file is corrupted which can not be recovered and check disk always runs at Windows startup.

Restart the computer and run the command chkdsk from the recovery console.

To boot into the recovery console, see the following article:

    Additional reference on:

For more information about the disk check, see:

Note: While running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk attempts to repair this area so all available data on this risk to be lost.

If the disk check done in start the computer every time, here is an article that could be useful for:
  • my laptop continued to go to the blue screen that says disc C needs the consistency check

It says checking file system on C: the type of the file system is FAT32, one of your disks needs to be checked for consistency...

Windows® will force a check disk when it detects that a volume has been dismantled not properly or may be damaged.  If it detects the need for control is somewhat variable.

Windows® always sets a bit in the master file Table (MFT) indicating that the table is opened when he set up a disc.  At that time, he creates one in memory a copy the MFT in which he first made changes, then planned to be written to disk.  She does it for operations files of speed.  If the system is out of tension or breaks down, the copy of the MFT in memory is not written to disk.  Files and folders may be lost, the list of the blocks that are allocated and free on the volume can be corrupted.  It really bad case, blocks can be assigned to multiple files.  So little open of the MFT is defined at the beginning of Windows®, it can schedule a check disk.  Compromise power and system hangs often lead to the automatic functioning of 'chkdsk '.  Even if Windows® is not, it is often a good idea to run or schedule a check disk if a system is turned off without stopping or if it crashes.

Thresholds of power can even cause physical damage disc if it is written sectors when turned off and can cause unrecoverable errors.

Letting Windows® check records is an important part of its operation and must not be ignored without a really good reason.

Skip the drive checks because we can't be bothered, or not wanting to wait for the cheque is jeopardizing the basic integrity of the system.  Once a disk check is scheduled, Windows® will persist in asking to perform the audit, until it is actually executed.  One can notice a regular disk check as if a regular disk check is not allowed.

Ignore you the check disk at your own risk and peril and you better have a good backup if you do!

  • "Your drive should be checked for consistency.

    Hello

I was wondering if you could help us?  I am running Vista on a Dell laptop and recently have been receiveing "your drive should be checked for consistency" at the start - it, then crosses the chkdsk to BACK process.  It goes through the process very well, deleting some files and move others. However, once I have connected to Windows, my laptop does work for a few minutes before freezing completely upwards. I thought it was just streaming elements that aggravate freeze it, but it seems to freeze no matter what I do.  I continue to have force a switch to stop/off that I can't even restart.

Its been my computer completely unusable - is there something I can do to solve this problem, apart from buying a new one?

    Thank you!

    Katie

Thanks - how could I do?  Is this a hardware problem?

Sounds like it... You said, "it goes through the process very well, deleting some files and moving others." which tells CHKDSK is to find questions and tries to compensate for them.  However, who can only go so far and if there are internal physical damage on the disc itself (disk drive I guess - not an SSD) then the damage could extend.  Sooner or later, you might get to a point where you don't even have the option to boot.

    What your backups?

You can find the manufacturer of the hard drive itself and get their diagnostic utilities and test the drive entirely with those.  That will tell you if you have real bad sectors and like it or whether a zero and writing with their utility and the new installation of the operating system could help.  It is more likely that it is a pity however.

  • "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block" on Dell Vista SP2

I am repeatedly getting the error "the device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." in the event viewer. Recently, I fixed a security problem that prevented me to install windows updates. For this, I ran CHKDSK (see results below), System File Checker, and a complete analysis of the system of McAfee, spybot and Malwarebytes, both in security and the good start. How can I check for errors on my HARD disk?

    --------------------------------------------
    My problem earlier wire: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/is/genuinevista/thread/60c76236-abd2-4fea-8980-007f424a8eb0

Although most things seem to work very well, "the device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." error still occurs in the event viewer despite the installation of updates/CHKDSK and SFC. Check the results of said disc 'the volume is clean' and the System File Checker showed no errors. Windows resource protection did not find any breach of integrity. Any ideas, what is happening?

In addition, I don't know if this is related, but a problem with the wireless network connection keeps recurring. "Windows wireless service" is not automatically start during the boot. It must manually be diagnosed and started. He gave the following error message:

In network connections, the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols are verified and most up-to-date driver software is installed. When I tried to update the drivers under devices, I got the following message. "The best driver for your device is already installed. Windows has determined that the driver for your device software is up-to-date.

I intend keeping an eye on the controller log and running an analysis of consistency check soon.

Don't you think that the disc is a failure?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello.

Looks like the average of errors on the existing LBA on the PD 01 have been corrected. Ensure that the controller and the drives hard firmware is up to date. Go head check consistency, a race of diagnoses and a review for more information.

  • U2415 - two connections for Display Port

This is my first contact with Dell support and the first time I use the interface of the RFP.

My question will appear in some basic way a lot of people, but I'm confused by the fact that my new monitor is equipped with a cable, which I assume is the only one, I really need to connect. However, the documentation does not confirm it.

On the contraryt, there are two connectors on the monitor that are commented out using the interface to display, but with a different connector port. It's confusing and the documentation is only adding more confusion.

Do I need a cable only? I got a cable with on one side a marked connector of the symbol "monitor - like".

If so, I don't understand the purpose of providing two types of connectors and the need for an explanation (bad), not yet available in Dutch!

Port numbers are 4-5 on page 10

    Thank you

If your computer graphics card has the size DP (DisplayPort) out, to connect like this =
RFP computer on--> Dell DP to the CDM cable--> U2415 CDM in

If your computer graphics card has the mini size CDM (Mini DisplayPort) out, to connect like this =
Computer AMD at--> Dell mDP to DP--> DP U2415 cable in

Why we offer both? If the end user can daisy chain multiple monitors. As explained on page 27. Or connect two computers to the same screen using these different ports.

For Belgium, the language is french.

  • U2415 - when I changed the monitor upside down I hear something like a screw wandering inside.

Greetings from the Greece. I apologize for my bad English. Has just delivered my new u2415. But when I turn the monitor upside down, there is something like a screw that moves from one side of the screen to the other.  The monitor works perfectly when it is plugged. The warranty covers replacement with a new or not? Or just a new one?

Policy of Dell on monitor to nine = trade
    * If the monitor Exchange is configured within the first 30 days of the date of the original invoice, the replacement will be New
    * If the monitor Exchange is configured outside the first 30 days of the date of the original invoice, the replacement will be refurbished

  • Windows needs to repeatedly check consistency D even if nothing is wrong

I have several SSD and HD, including C (SSD) and D (HD).  At least several times a month, from the start, I get the black screen indicating that d should be checked for consistency.  This has happened for nearly two years.  Sometimes I let him check D and Windows should NEVER found a problem with it.

Why this Dungeon is happening and how to get Windows to stopy hurt seeing D as needing to be checked?

    Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft community. I will certainly help you to question. This problem occurs because of the corruption in the registry or when chkdsk runs at startup.

Important: When running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

Open command prompt high by following the instructions below:

    1. Open the start menu and type cmd.
    2. Right-click on the command prompt and click "run as administrator"
    3. Click Yes at the prompt of the UAC.

Once the open command prompt, follow the instructions below:

To disable CHKDSK from startup using the on command chkntfs /x switch in command prompt. The /x switch will exclude a verification by default startup car. If you have drive C: as your hard drive, then the command to disable chkdsk C: drive analysis would be:

    chkntfs /x c:

Since you have 2 disk, C and D, you can disable chkdsk with the command below

    chkntfs /x c: d:

Hope this information was useful. Let us know the results once you have tried the following steps.

    Thank you

  • Check the disk for consistency

I read messages will this question hide two to five years. I guess my problem is the same: black screen on startup with white 'BACK', writes, "one of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You can cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended that you continue. Windows will now check the disk. "What has happened three times in the last two months, and nothing was found in the mess at the end of the audit.

Responses to previous posts are frankly discouraging - at least for me. I want to know is if this disk check is a signal that all is not well with the computer, or if it's just a gene that will probably calm down. Would it not be in my interest to call a repairman? I'm not interested in venturing into the only registry.

    Thank you.

There is nothing remarkable or unusual in the chkdsk report, no bad sectors or the reported bad clusters.  Run the utility of diagnosis of the constructor on the drive and see if it reports disk problems, go to the web site of the manufacturer of the drive for the utility.

  • The RV042 502 Bad Gateway CGI was not CGI/1.1 compatible

    Hello

I have half a dozen routers RV042 in various places.  They are running v4.0.0.07.  Apparently at random, I had the

    502 bad Gateway

The CGI/1.1 CGI was not consistent.

error when you try to connect to the web interface with google chrome (even with IE too).  This is happening on the side LAN.  I actually didn't notice until my software Opsview monitoring threw up a critical when he did get an http response.

The router otherwise actually works very well.

Since the first occurrence, several of my routers have developed the same error.

I have tried different browsers, clear caches, although I'm not surprised that these efforts were in vain, because clearly there is a problem even when no browser is involved (nagios).  Nagios http checking also returns a 502 Bad Gateway.

I guess that a reboot is in order, but I'm looking for other explanations/solutions before having to restart because I would like to avoid that if possible.  If I can help more, please let me know.

    Thanks for the help.

I know you are trying to avoid a reboot, but I would try and see if the problem goes away.  The rv series starts acting funky when they have not been restarted for awhile.

  • transaction tables consistent reads - undo records applied

    Hello

    on 11.2.0.4 on Linux

In the documentation, it is said:

The report of the following V$SYSSTAT statistics should be close to a:

ratio = transaction tables consistent reads - undo records applied / transaction tables consistent read rollbacks

And the recommendation is that the recommended solution is to use automatic undo management...

We are in automatic cancellation, but the ratio is 38:

    SQL > show Cancel parameter

    VALUE OF TYPE NAME

    ------------------------------------ ----------- --------

    UNDO_MANAGEMENT string AUTO

SELECT name, value of V$ SYSSTAT whose name in ("transaction tables consistent reads - undo records applied",

("tables of compatible transactions read restorations")

    NAMEVALUE

    ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------

transaction tables consistent reads - undo records applied38
    operating tables consistent read recommitments1

    2 selected lines

So, what would be the reasons and the solution?

    Thank you.

This is a good demonstration of why it's a bad idea to blindly follow the ratios.

Once since your instance starts, you had to use 38 undo records to discover the time of validation of a specific transaction. The performance impact of that verification is virtually invisible - worst case, it is you read 38 undo disk blocks to get the necessary information.  All you have is an example where a query ran long enough so that a few hundred to a few thousands of transactions were hiding at the time of a transaction that committed at the same time that the query started - try to 'solve the problem' is a waste of time.
