I want dbms_system allows you to change a string to another session parameter. Aims to enable cursor_sharing = FORCE for currently connected sessions.
For future connections, this will be done by a trigger connection, but there are several sessions of app server that will remain connected for weeks or months without change.
dbms_system contains procedures to set integers and Boolean values in other sessions, but I can't find anything on char/string parameters. For what is documented here Oracle DBMS_SYSTEM it seems that nothing like this available.
DB version is 11.2.0.3. Is it possible to do it on this version?
Is it perhaps a sql to activate cursor_sharing = FORCE (and event set through dbms_system.set_ev)?

DBMS_SYSTEM is an old man who was not formally documented.

DBMS_MONITOR is a current which * is * documented, but it has no documented method to set the cursor (for example).

There is no documented way I know to do what you suggest. If you really must do it this way, I would recommend that you open an SR with Oracle Support to ask them. Otherwise, just schedule some downtime for your application and implement the logon trigger.

If it's on the rectangular objects, you may have encountered the bug Rectangle Live which is limited to the MAC versions from 10.7 and 10.8, but not of 10.9 (Mavericks) or 10.10 (Yosemite). If all goes well, the bug will be fixed soon.

We use HPDM to capture and deploy images of Thin Clients HP MT42 Mobile with Windows Embedded 7 HP easy set up shell. The enhanced write filter is configured, so no user changes cannot be saved.

This works very well for us, but now we want to allow users to keep their wireless settings.

We allow them to configure wireless networks, but of course, these changes are lost after each reboot.

I just started usind
Adobe Pro 10.
I have 2 drop down menus both with all menu options drop down same (choice). About 80% of the time the drop-down list
dropdown2 value will be identical to that of dropdown1, so I want to pre-fill dropdown2 with the value of dropdown1 but also allow the user to choose a different value for dropdown2 if they need to.
I know that I can popluate dropdown2 the value of dropdown1 with the custom calculation script following;
Event.Value = this.getField("dropdown1").value
This fills the field very well, but the user cannot choose one different value other than in dropdown1 if necessary.
In my efforts to understand this out is to see that a SWITCH command can be useful, but I don't know how to use the command correctly, or if it is the best way to go.

I was afraid that you would say that, because it complicates things a bit. You must have a way to indicate that the user makes a selection in the second drop-down list box. You can use a global document variable for this. To set up, add a new javaScript to the document level (Advanced > Document Processing > Document JavaScripts) that says the following:

Make sure this code is outside of a function definition. You can call the JavaScript to the document level you want (for example, "init") and remove the skeleton of function, it provides by default.

Next, add the custom script after typing for the first drop-down list box:

Get the value of the selected user

Get a reference to the other combo box
