It's on, "Extract all" option in windows 7 OS.

Say, I have two zip files on my machine and if I chose the two Zip files and take "Extract all" option, then only the last folder selected zip files are extracted. Is the expected result or he must extract all the files in the two Zip files? Please let me know.

~ Rajesh Vastrad

I would say that this is a normal behavior to only be able to unzip the files one at a time...

    Hi Eddie Hersh,.

Thanks for choosing the Windows Vista Forum.

1 how long have you had this problem?

    2. If it works well before?

Make sure that the download of the file is not corrupted.

You can perform the steps in the link below and check if it works.

Restore and return the file Association in Windows Vista if Original

    1. click on start, and then type regedit in start search and press ENTER.

    2. navigate to the following registry branch:

    NtVersion ntVersion\Explorer\FileExts\ [ext]

Replace the [exe] with the real extension of the file you want to restore the file type association to return to the default Windows Vista original. If you unsure, simply browse through all the Sub-touche under FileExts.

    3. delete the subkey named UserChoice.

    4. exit the registry editor.

  • No part all option when right click

Hello. Yesterday, I downloaded a RAR file and the download WinAce to access. I was overwhelmed by all program options gave me, then as soon as he gets everything in the RAR file I deleted the program so I could go back to the way default to extract ZIP files. Now all my ZIP files have the icon that corresponds to does not have the appropriate program to open it, and when I click right I don't have the option extract all. Can someone help me get this functionality back without having to download a program? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

    Hello

It could be that by default, you have associated all the files in the other (WinAce) program, and now that you have removed this program from the system, Windows does not not recognize the program. I suggest to associate the default files and check whether the problem is resolved. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

  • The button to restore the last session disappeared. New tab, now this tab is my; AST session. Help! Have read all options & checked all, what now?

I am using Windows XP PRO 32-BIT... I read (and checked) all options but still can't find my last session of navigation of yesterday. I opened a new tab in 'My Favorites', only one tab open, so now, this tab is my "last session"...
What can I do now, please? For my research, some I might be able to remember, some are my favorites, but can't always remember the names to find them again, I have a lot of tabs open!
I have a lot of files bookmarked...
Previously I always managed to restore by clicking the Session Manager to restore the last session, but the button seems to have disappeared. Please, I'm old and need of (detailed) easy step by step instructions!
I just remembered I have some work early this morning, it worked well then. I went to make breakfast. When I came back, the computer was disconnected and restarted. But I have no idea why.
Maybe something happened? I cannot now get this morning session or session of yesterday, with all the tabs I had open for research...
    Thanks in advance...
    Sylvia

The user.js file is not there by default.
It is present than if you or other software had created, so if you can't find it, then it's OK.
Note that Windows hides file .js extension, probably, you see only a user with the type of JScript file.

You can see in the screenshot in this article how the words: support page is supposed to look like and where the button is located in the Application Basics section below the user agent.

  • lost my 'extract all' in the documents

When I tried to unzip a folder asked me what program I want to use to open with. Has been given the choice of internet explore and something else. I clicked on internet explore and the screen started blinking on and off for a certain time. Then, all my files zipped turned to white and there was no more any and no excerpt zipped folder. What should I do to get my back zipped folders and choosing "extract all"? Thanks for your help.

    Hello

    You are welcome

The problem is simply to do with the file being modified association, the best way to solve this problem maybe run the Windows system restore.

    Try the following.

First of all, if you have Norton Internet Security installed, you should disable Norton Protection Tamper as shown in the link below.

    Norton self-protection.

Once you are done, turn off the PC.  Windows system restore is usually better run in Mode without failure.  Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  When it has loaded, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours before the file association for .zip files has been modified and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart normally.

    Best regards
