    I bought the package of Microsoft Family Pack Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit upgrade. I upgraded my HP Pavilion m9525f without problem. However, when I upgraded HP Pavilion Media Center m8547c PC my work wife I noticed that the partition image factory had changed from blue to red. His computer is now slower that it was running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit years she gets blockages requiring restarts.

    I have installed all the software HP upgrade to his computer and deleted all unnecessary programs, run the cleaning program in Accessories, defragmented the drive and ran sfc/scannow, who finds no problems with its operating system files.

    There is a serious problem, indicated by the change of color of partition to factory?

    Hello Archquark, you can delete the partition D: HP Recovery restore and recover this disk capacity.

    If you have the game to restore HP Recovery disk, which you should have done when you've got the system, you can still use them to restore the system back as it was when shipped from HP.

    I, personally, to remove these partitions recovery, because as you said, that they are usually outdated very soon after you get the system, but I wouldn't recommend others that under normal circumstances.

    I don't know why a temp. file was created in your D: Recovery partition.

    Windows 7 installation can be linked to the Vista install, and you will need to have Vista installed in order to perform the upgrade to Windows 7 If you have in the future.

    There are a few different methods that Microsoft and HP use to upgrade to Windows 7.

    I got a system until Windows 7 came out, but with a free Windows 7 upgrade when it was released. I got the Windows 7 upgrade disc and he ran like an upgrade. Later, I had to change the hard drive without an operating system installed and was able to perform a new installation with the provided HP Windows 7 upgrade disk.

    Appears to be a tossup. If you decide to delete the D: Recovery partition, you probably that in the Windows 7 Control Panel Setup, administrative tools, computer management, storage, management records.

    When you get there, just select the D: Recovery partition and select this option to delete the volume.

    Then select the C: partition and choose the volume and it should expand the C: partition to include the ability to partition D: previous.

    For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

    It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

  • Pack of Estonian language of Windows 7 Home Premium

    I have a Windows 7 Home Premium in English and I would like to change in Estonian. But it is true that Windows 7 Home Premium does not (yet) support Estonian pack (MUI and LIP), Web sites even tell that?

    Only Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise Edition supports language packs. Estonian is one of the available languages. The Ultimate upgrade is usually the best option in these circumstances because it allows you to switch between languages in the future without other expenses (& you get the other features of ultimate). We don't know what you did on the Acer recovery Partition.

    Here's the General info re reinstall Vista (your XP installation does NOT come in the advice given):

    Vista Media recovery obtaining and/or using the Vista recovery on your computer Partition to factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    https://secure.TX.Acer.com/rcdb/main.aspx?brand=Acer

    Contact Acer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11, ACER is Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Change Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 of Windows 7 Home Premium

    I've been running Windows 7 Service Pack since I got the computer, but in the last two years a "this copy of windows is not genuine" made my black background.

    He asked me for a product key, the thing is that windows 7 profesional was already installed and it did not bring any installation disc.

    When I searched in my PC, I found a small label that had the product key on the side.  The problem is that the product key for Windows 7 Home Premium!   I do not have a disk to install windows 7 Home premium, nor have I any money to buy another drive or key.

    What can I do to uninstall windows 7 pro SP1 without losing all my files and install windows 7 Home premium!

    Help!

    This has nothing to do with Service Pack 1, but rather than the version that you have installed and the key you have will not work.

    To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop -http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

    Hello

    I had similar problems with my laptop 64-bit Windows 7 & iTunes.  Finally, I have iTunes installed 10.5.1.42, thanks to a friend who has downloaded onto a CD using their Apple laptop.

    The installation of thin attempts, where the previous CD was working using the direct download did not, despite trying many options, such as turning off the firewall and virus checkers and using another Manager download (Softonic) instead of iTunes.

    Downloaded Softonic iTunes 10.4 despite my 10.5 selection, and despite it, saying he was downloading 10.5.  iTunes installed 10.4 successfully, unfortunately I needed 10.5 to update my iPhone OS.

    When I saw the 10.5 iTunes download (downloaded via iTunes), using 7 - zip, the message "broken file" appears next to each file in the screen of 7 - zip.  It seems that the problem was with a corrupted download.

    Once I installed iTunes 10.5.1.42 from the CD, I went to update my iPhone OS via iTunes and my computer laptop 64 bit of Windows 7, but guess what... download corrupted file iPhone OS.  If the same friend upgraded my iPhone OS using their Apple laptop.  I then synch had the iPhone with my own laptop.
