iTunes 12.3 change musical season

I have a lot of music television series and I want to be able to sort by season. Unfortunately, I am running iTunes 12.3 (and do not want to go back) and my options are limited: none of the old window information, and although I tried to change the media type, the options I gave are Podcast, iTunes U, Audiobook, which none have the opportunity of the season. Anyone know of any tricks/hacks that can move?

I tried to line edition-style, and works for the show and ID fields episode, but don't let me edit the numbers of episodes or season (which stubbornly says "No Season" for each song in my library). Help, please!

The new window read the information has all the possibility that the old man had.

There no option 'seasons' for music, because music is not normally organized in this way.

There are many other, already existing tags, that you can use for this purpose: consolidation, commentary, various sorting options and many others.

iTunes can't sync music only after that I have change my ID?

    Hi there Mehta_pooja90,

    Welcome to Apple Support communities.

As I understand it, there is a problem syncing of music on your iPhone from iTunes on your PC after changing your Apple ID in iTunes.

Can you still play the songs that aren't able to sync in iTunes on your PC? If iTunes is not allowed to play the tracks, then you will not be able to synchronize the songs to your device. Try allowing the computer with the account that was used to buy the pieces as shown here:

  • 12.4.2.4 iTunes synchronize all the music on my iPhone iOS 6 9.3.3.

After that the most recent iTunes updated 12.4.2.4 (in Windows 10) and iPhone upgrade to iOS 9.3.3 iTunes sync all my music. A few pieces purchased don't sync and some tunes downloaded from compact discs, which were in iTunes, or does not synchronize completely disappeared from my list of tunes. Even after downloading these tunes again, some are still missing on my iPhone. This happened also with the latest versions of iTunes and iOS.

I followed the suggestions I found on a forum of Apple support, but they did not work. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If it is missing from your media library see library iTunes empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash.

If the synchronization is not copying the right content on then these steps should help:

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  • How to store the original and to remove some duplicate songs in iTunes on a PC Win7, which took place after iTunes to scan for music during a re - install?

How to store the original and to remove some duplicate songs in iTunes on a PC Win7, which took place after iTunes to scan for music during a re - install?

I recently had to format my hard drive and reinstall iTunes 12.3.2.35 on my Win7 PC. As part of the re - install iTunes, I clicked on the button scan for music.  This has created duplicates several of my songs.  I deleted then the duplicate songs from iTunes, but when I went to play a few songs a pop-up said "the song would not be because the original could not be found.  You want to locate? "When I tried to locate the song it is not found, but when I pulled the songs out of the trash they could be found.

How can I keep the original and remove any duplicate songs in iTunes on PC Win7 which took place after iTunes to scan for music during a re - install?

iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.

Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

Use MAJ > display > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

Use my DeDuper script (Windows only) If you are not sure, do not want to do it by hand, or want to maintain ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this background thread , this post for detailed instructions and Please take note of the warning to back up your library before deduping.

(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to temporarily view or CTRL + B to keep displayed.)

The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

  • Why do I need iTunes game when I music Apple

I have a Mac, the iPhone, the iPod (by car) and and iPad. Since a long time I have I tunes game to get the same songs on all devices. Now, I also have music from Apple. Why should I continue with the Match most of the songs are available in the cloud?

Trying to save a little money!

They are not the same. iTunes game is a music cloud storage service where you can transfer your music, but also to have it appear on your devices without having to load the library on each device, thus saving space on your device.

Apple's music is a purchase of the music service.

  • iTunes will not transfer music to iPhone

I transferred a few CD on my mac in itunes. They play very well.

I'm trying to move these songs on my iPhone, but they appear right on my phone as being in the cloud.

iTunes will not transfer them directly from the computer to the phone.

It is not giving me the option manually the music either, only videos and custom manager allow drag and drop on the phone.

    Can anyone help?

Looks like you have iTunes game or iCloud music library enabled, do you think?  If so you are unable to manage the synchronization of the iPhone directly from iTunes.

If I download a new version of itunes, I lose my music library?

    Debby,

I answered this question on your other post, but if you want the answer here, no you won't. You need to stay connected and all your songs will be there, unless something goes wrong, which is rare. If that were to happen, you can always get it back by signing into iTunes and then going to section purchased from the iTunes store and re - download everything.

  • Cancel the iTunes game that changed versions of my music to different

I downloaded a lot of music from a CD over the years and then added to my iTunes library on my phone. I recently got a new phone and used the cloud as my backup. Now, a lot of songs are different versions than the original that I downloaded and I don't want any. Can I delete iTunes match to recover the originals? I had not never asked the iTunes service game in the first place and I hate that they change just the album covers, titles, and even the song itself!

    Greetings maddiejoanna,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support and congratulations on your new iPhone! It's very exciting to get a new iPhone.

I see that you have downloaded music from a CD to your iTunes over the years, and after you have restored your iPhone, a lot of songs are different versions than the original. You want to disable iTunes game (or, possibly, iCloud music library as they provide similar functionality) and recover the original songs. I understand perfectly. I want to help you find your original songs.

You will need to disable iTunes game, iCloud music library or if necessary both in iTunes and on your iPhone. The following articles will help you locate the music library iTunes game and iCloud on each device. Just make sure that you disable each:

Use iTunes on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch game

Use your subscription to Apple's music to get your music on all your devices

In addition, if you prefer not to use these services, you can use the following page to check that the necessary subscriptions were cancelled:

View, change or cancel your subscription

    Best regards.

  • Why itunes continue to change the type of my music?

Why doesn't iTunes change the kind of some of my music to a number of 'Rock' to '17' to play, more importantly, how do I stop doing that?

If it comes to music that you are streaming, or was accompanied in iCloud music library or iTunes Match, then there is not much that can be done. That's how it is coded by the distributor in iTunes. You can report this error directly to Apple via this link http://www.apple.com/feedback/

  • Why don't the addition of metadata to be added manually in the iTunes library song change metadata in Windows Explorer and anywhere else?

Adding metadata to a song in the iTunes library has no effect anywhere else (as in Windows Explorer or the Groove music).

I would like to know if I have disabled this in error or if it is not guaranteed to all visitors.

Where it is not provided to customers, I would like to know how iTunes stores this metadata and whether it can be automatically sent to the library of Windows.

    Thank you.

A reason of changes committed to iTunes cannot be is covered in the tip of the user, fix the iTunes for Windows security permissions but iTunes usually returns to the original data if you probably don't see this particular problem. The other possibility is of several tags.

    Several tags (Mp3 files only)

The ID3 specification allows files to have several tags in different versions and languages, but iTunes does not work properly with simple tags. When multiple tags are present it can sometimes do not apply updates to the tag that reads back (probably update one of the others in the file) and it is also possible that the iPod and iTunes may have different rules for the tag that they give priority to. This could lead to situations where everything is properly organized in iTunes, but then inexplicably collapses on an iPod, or tracks that display different information in Windows Explorer or another media player. There are tags 3rd party editors that allow to manipulate several tags, but I don't have a casual recommendation. A workaround in iTunes is to use the context menu convert the ID3 Tags... > None a few times to remove all the labels, then convert ID3 Tags... > v2.3 to build a cool tag with information still held in the iTunes database. I've read in the past that iTunes is not completely compatible with the specification v2.4, although this may be the case, support is more however for v2.3 is widespread, then I would say using v2.3 to v2.4. All embedded work will be deleted so it must be replaced if wanted. For Windows users running a script named CreateFolderArt before and after the cleaning process tag should handle this.

Note that some data, for example the sides and the counties of game, is only stored in the database internal iTunes and not surrounded by tags.

  • AM deleting / changing music / work

I'm sure this has been posted dozens of times, but the internet is a minefield of misinformation and nonsense and I have not been able to find a definitive answer.

I got a subscription to the music of Apple and wanted to listen to music offline. As I turned on that I had to activate, files / albums / bands sound that I had in iTunes on my Mac and sync on my iPhone and iPad have changed, and some have even disappeared. They are still in iTunes on a Mac with the correct work and tracks, but they won't sync to the phone and tablet. They are all the albums and I myself added files rather than buying / streaming of Apple. Other albums that I myself added have had their work completely changed (I listen to much music soundtracks and added the soundtrack to "Spend spend spend" in my years since the original CD iTunes.) Since activation Apple music half of the titles have been removed and the work was changed to that of "Miss Saigon"!). Other albums that I added the CD had the titles changed in different versions (i.e. the CD version by the suite for a live version), or even artists completely different versions! And I can't get the versions I have in iTunes to go back on the phone / pad.

I'm doing something wrong? Is there something I need to do to stop what is happening / fix this? As I said, if this has been asked / answered already, I'm sorry but I couldn't find anything definitive to solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

  • If I change a file name in my ITunes library, iTunes will find changed leadership and play the song?

I'm trying to back up my iTunes files, but my classical music has too long file names?  If I abbreviate the names of file, iTunes will find these files and play the songs? Also, what is the best way to change a name of file to an album at the same time?

I'm not as familiar with the Windows platform, but if your main drive and the system supports file names that are long which is why your backup drive? You use a different format on your backup disk?
