  My understanding is that you want a slideshow of the Photos app on your Mac to be available as a video on your iOS devices and your Apple TV. Is this fair?

  When I hit export on a slide show and marking for loading into iTunes is wrong. In the past these has shown in the videos. I don't know where they are going now. There is a file of document iPhoto that they seem to go in, but they are empty files. What I am doing wrong?

  iPhoto has no tool main photo of the Mac for over a year.  So, it looks like you are using some old software.

  • What version of Mac OS X are you using?
  • What version of iTunes are you using?

  DV files are a gross product of standard definition video shot on older cameras. It is 480 by 640.

  Bring them to any version of iMovie and share or export to a compressed format.

  I have no voice recorder, so I'm not familiar with the files.  Be aware of what you see in iTunes is not the name of the file it's data embedded in the file tags.  You don't say what you mean by "export." There is an export feature, but who simply produces a list of titles, not the files themselves.

  You may need to rename the files according to the track tag information.  See the website Dougscripts for a File Renamer script that does this.

  iOS9 on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher.  Update of the system only checks the updates for the current version of the system you run, but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements.   "Export these songs in a certain folder on my computer" just drag and then from iTunes and drop in Windows Explorer.

  To export to an SD card, insert the SD card and open it so that it looks like a window.  Highlight the songs in iTunes, and then drag them.

  As test, try to share your song for the with "share > export song to disk." If this attempt succeeds, it update solves the problem.  At the moment, export to a folder on the desktop and there import it into iTunes.

  Drag the pieces from the playlist to disk. Export the playlist M3U file. Drop the M3U file to the LocalizeM3U script and put the update playlist to disk. Note You cannot include songs from Apple's music because they contain DRM and will play only in authorized computers or Apple devices.

• Cannot export completed projects

  I use CF Pro v 10.2.3 on my iMac with El Capitan 10.11.6.

  I use the FCP for years and have not encountered this problem until recently.

  I have just completed a project 50 minutes long and have attempted to export (share) for 1080 p Apple device. He goes through the motions of export and told me that sharing has been a success, but there is no output anywhere (I searched the entire computer). The same project, I exported successfully to 720 p Apple device, and it's hidden as usual in iTunes.

• iTunes ignores the library I copied on my new PC

  I have a new PC and a fresh install of iTunes. I don't have any old PC to export/backup/whatever of. I only have his readers.

  I copied the \users\ < username > \Music\iTunes\iTunes Media of an old drive to the iTunes media folder location pointed to by iTunes on the new PC.  I also copied the files in \users\ < username > \Music\iTunes (e.g. iTunes Library.itl).

  But iTunes does not show my library.  It shows the songs I purchased on the iTunes store. with a download of cloud icon. I see no other music

  I suppose I could play one of the songs and see if it puts it in the right place or wrong - but I suspect, it will be in the right place despite the file being already there and make a duplicate.

  The library is on the local drive.  I copy and paste the path to the configuration iTunes box to a shell to check that it was OK.

  I met problems similar years, every time that I moved to a new PC or new player.  I remember the old library before importing in the new iTunes and if I remember correctly, it's a mess.  So this time, I looked for instructions and so far they do not work.

  In the past I had to use a 3rd party app to remove duplicates iTunes created.  Really hoping I can get to use my library without making a mess of it.
