iTunes is misrepresentation ability iPhone

I have an iPhone running iOS 10.0.0, capacity 6 is 16 GB. According to the phone itself, I 143.5 MB of free storage remaining, but when I try to sync it to iTunes it says that the phone is everywhere from 3.35 to ~ 5 GB more capacity. Part of what makes no sense to this topic is that it signals that I have 5.5 GB of audio, in 97 songs, but I don't keep any music stored locally, either on my phone or my MacBook. I have podcasts, but not 5.5 GB of value, and they are deleted when I'm done with them anyway. This is a problem since iOS 9.3.5 and I was hoping that it would just prove to be a bug that is fixed in the update.

It is the very important part of your post.  It is the highest estimate of the space you have available on the iPhone.

Without any other information, this indicates a State to have your space so full that your iPhone can possibly operate properly.  You need an absolute minimum of 1.6 GB of free storage space for a reasonable chance at a working iPhone.

1.6 GB is 10% of total storage of your iPhone.  That's where this number came from.

Another quick thought: you need to update to iOS 10.0.1.

  • Unable to access iTunes Store for the iPhone 5 ongoing iOS 9.3.2

    Hello

I am trying to access iTunes store from my iPhone 5 running latest iOS 9.3.2. When I open the video application, I see the message "no content. You can download videos from the iTunes Store. However, I don't see any button or anything I can use to navigate. No search option and nothing.

I tried to go to the app Store in iTunes on the app store. I see a link "Visit iTunes store", but tapping on it takes me nowhere. Looks like I'm stuck somewhere.

What is the problem? Any suggestions?

    Muthu-

You must go to the app Store in iTunes:

If you do not find this application on your phone (does show via phone projector search screen?), then check if you have hidden it via settings > general > Restrictions > iTunes Store 'off '.

  • I have itunes store on my iphone but I can't listen to my music in itunes. where is he?

Hello I have an Iphone 5 using ios 9.2.1. I hate to ask a stupid question, but it's so frustrating. I see the ITunes Store on my iphone, but not an app called "ITunes". Is it the same thing? I also have an icon for 'music '. I don't want apple's music, but whenever I press the icon 'music' an announcement opens asking if I want to buy music from Apple.

I was finally able to find some of the music I had downloaded on my iphone - through the ITunes store, but I didn't know how to play on my radio except for the selection of a song at a time, repeating itself until what I chose another song. If you can help, please tell me what I'm doing wrong!

The app to play music is called music. It can be found on the home screen, or could be in a separate folder. If you see the screen for the Apple's music, you must tap on the link for "Go to My Music".

  • synchronize music iTunes to fill automatic iPhone memory with little space left.

I have about 10 GB left in my iPhone, and I want to sync music from iTunes Mac (which occupies about 15 GB) with little space left in my camera for other applications (for example, 5 GB).

Find where I can tell iTunes to sync only 5 GB of data, something like leave "x" GB in iPhone device.

I have sync selected playlists and automatically fill free space.

    iTunes version: 12.3.2.35

    iPhone OS: 9.2

    Hello Friendtam1,

I understand that you are wanting to fill your iPhone with music, but always leave space. Back on what are your options for this.

All having an option to auto-fill for your iPhone is not available, you have the option to manually manage music. This means that you can drag and drop the music you want on your iPhone. With this option, you will see the use to change and can stop it when you feel you have enough storage to the left. Take a look at the article below for more details.

  • iTunes cannot locate the iphone 6

I try to add pictures from my windows 10 PC to my iphone 6.  I did it in the past, no problem.  Now my phone does not appear as a device in itunes when I plug.  I did tests of diagnosis and follow-up steps - verified updates windows 10 and iphone (both were updated), I tried different usb ports, watched in the device manage and everything seems ok and work, driver update iphone to computer (already had more recent), came into Apple mobile device service in my computer and reset auto and rebooted the computer and the phone as suggested.

I have no support contract.  Anyway to solve my problem?  Using my iphone to show others my photos taken with my digital SLR is important my phone use - without my iphone has the ability becomes much less useful.

It's really a problem iTunes/Apple.  In addition, you describe exactly what Apple had do you.

However, the procedure below the line of * usually does the trick.

Note 1: Uninstall iTunes and other Apple software should not remove your current music files.  Nevertheless, it is only prudent to make a backup first.

Note 2: in general, if you have downloaded the software from a reputable site (for example, Apple), you can ignore the message that enforcement has not passed the Windows logo test.  On the other hand, I'm a little surprised that this message came as part of an installation of iTunes.  Particular piece of software has triggered this alert?

Follow the directions below the line of *.  You can print them for reference.

To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article.

Warning: uninstall utility for cleaning Windows mentioned in the instructions below has been removed from Microsoft download servers because sometimes it seems more removed he was supposed to (I think that this phenomenon was linked to the bureau uninstalls).  You can still get utility Windows Installer Cleanup--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html here is a free alternative Revo Uninstaller. Before using these cleaning products, you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
    Remove these applications:
    1 Apple Software Update
    2. Apple Mobile Device Support
    3 Hello
4 iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
    5 iTunes
    6 QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete these files (if present)
    1 iPod
    2 iTunes
    3 QuickTime

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

Download & install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301/ [this link is dead; see above]
Launch the utility: start > programs > Windows Installer Clean Up
Select one of the applications mentioned above and click on remove

    Restart the computer

  • iTunes songs on the iPhone only organized by artist

My iPhone just 6Plus upgraded to the 10.0.1 iOS.  Now, my iTunes library shows only the songs organized by artist.  There is no way for me to change that.  I tried to connect my phone to my mac and change the 'View' to sort by the name of the song, but it still doesn't work.  No matter if I look at the songs or playlists, everything is sorted by artist name.  How can I change this?

Settings > music > songs of sorting & Albums > choose "by title".

  • iTunes does not see iPhone 5 s after installing iOS 10

Update wireless phone.  Everything went well.  I connect the iPhone to Mac (10.7.5) and Capture of Image asked me to unlock the phone.  It's unlocked, but he asks again.

    iTunes displays an error:

I changed the data cables using apple and 3rd same part different USB ports.

    Nada.

Phone works very well with iOS 10.  Computer just can not see.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

From what I understand, and I'm not a Mac user, I read that iOS 10 require iTunes 12.5.1, which requires OS X 10.9.5, based on this information from the iTunes download page.

    Mac system requirements

    Material:

    • Equipped Mac to an Intel computer
    • To play videos HD 720 p, an iTunes LP or iTunes Extras, a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor is required
    • To play HD 1080 p video, a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor and 2 GB of RAM is required
    • 1024 x 768 or higher screen resolution; 1280 x 800 or greater is required to play an iTunes LP or iTunes Extras
    • Internet connection broadband to use music from Apple, the iTunes Store and iTunes Extras
    • Apple combo drive or SuperDrive to create audio, MP3 or CD backup; some non-CD-RW recorders can also work. Songs from the catalog of Apple's music cannot be burned to a CD.

    Software:

    • OS X version 10.9.5 or later version
    • 400 MB of available disk space
    • Apple music, Radio Music from Apple, iTunes in the cloud and iTunes game availability may vary depending on the country
    • iTunes Extras requires OS X version 10.10.3 or later
  • iTunes doesn't recognize iPhone

Since the update to ios 10, iTunes does not recognize my iPhone 6.

I tried everything, I uninstalled iTunes and installed again, restarted my laptop and my iPhone, I downloaded the earlier version of iTunes, the settings of network reset on iPhone and still nothing. My laptop recognizes the iPhone as usual.

I had the same problem taking the advice of roger heath posted October 2, 2010

    That's what he said

first thing go to apple.com to download latest iTunes backup on your hard drive in the downloads not yet install it

then go to control panel uninstall application support apple, device support mobile apple, software, apple software update.
