iTunes issues!

Thus, the battery of my iPhone (5 s) worked very well so I took it to be fixed and they could not get a new battery so they gave me a new phone! (if exellent customer service I dare say...)

Anyway, the new phone works ios9, which is nice, but does not work with the version of itunes on my macbook pro (2011, OS x 10.6.8) and so I can't sync, which is a problem because an awful lot of music on my old phone was CD...

So I downloaded the itunes upgrade installation... but nothing seems to have changes in itunes and I always get the message saying that the version is not compatible with my phone! I have reinestalled it seems to have changed several times but nothing!

Help!

Any ideas?

You cannot get the latest version of iTunes for Mac OS x 10.6.8. The most recent version is required for iOS 9.x and you would need to update your OS X. It's as far as I know, except to look at the requirements for the latest version of iTunes.

Mac system requirements

Material:

  • Equipped Mac to an Intel computer
  • To play videos HD 720 p, an iTunes LP or iTunes Extras, a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor is required
  • To play HD 1080 p video, a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor and 2 GB of RAM is required
  • 1024 x 768 or higher screen resolution; 1280 x 800 or greater is required to play an iTunes LP or iTunes Extras
  • Internet connection broadband to use music from Apple, the iTunes Store and iTunes Extras
  • Apple combo drive or SuperDrive to create audio, MP3 or CD backup; some non-CD-RW recorders can also work. Songs from the catalog of Apple's music cannot be burned to a CD.

Software:

  • OS X version 10.8.5 or later, Apple music requires OS X version 10.9.5 or later
  • 400 MB of available disk space
  • Apple music, Radio Music from Apple, iTunes in the cloud and iTunes game availability may vary depending on the country
  • iTunes Extras requires OS X version 10.10.3 or later

  • sync iPhone with iTunes issue

I try to sync to my iPhone, but get the error message that it "cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the selected items (262,1 required Mo, 489,3 Mo available)" is meaningless.  I tried to restart the phone, but that did not help.  I tried to throw a few apps, you wonder if that takes back us to a logical point.  Don't know what else to try.  iOS and iTunes both current versions.  Thanks to everyone who has a suggestion.

In general, about twice as much space which is presented as necessary should be free. 262.1 MB means how much space the content will take on your iPhone once synchronized, but during the synchronization process, additional space is required to store temporary files while iTunes moves items in place on your iPhone. Try to import photos and videos to your computer and then removing the copies on the phone in order to free more space. Or you could just remove some you need is more directly from your iPhone.

I also tried to install the update for .NET, that came up with error Code 643.  I finally just uninstall .NET, but he did not a difference on other issues.

I also tried to download the iTunes and it said: I am in safe mode or do not have administrator rights, but I am logged on as administrator.  My guess is he'll be back to the installer, but I don't know how to fix this?  It is not in my Start menu... the only way I can get in is via the administrative tools, which does not give me the option to uninstall.

I also tried Windows Installer 4.5 Redistr. but he said not enough available to process the command of storage.  I checked the system information and it says I have 5 GB available virtual memory.

Any help is greatly appreciated!  I tried the other recommendations of errors from other users for two days, does not.  I've also run System File Checker, but who came back without any problem.

    Thank you!

Here are a few things to try.  First clean boot, and then try unistall\update iTunes.  If this does not help I suggest the creation of a user (administrative level) and then the try once logged in the new user profile.  Here are the links for the boot and the creation of a new user.  Also, I included a link to article Apple support dealing with the install\update iTunes issues.

  • not to run after the file transfer

I copied my iTunes library on an external hard drive and then downloaded on my macbook pro. My problem is some files do not appear in itunes – it seems I'll have to pass by my entire library of thousands of songs and drag them

    MacPro mnt lion--> macbookpro mavericks

When you say that you have copied to your iTunes library, including one or more folders did you move exactly? In addition, where have you moved to?

If you have moved the entire iTunes folder to the correct place, iTunes will automatically find and having all your content. However, if your content was not consolidated until you have copied the folder, which means that the content was not in the folder for some reason iTunes, iTunes will have only the content that was in the folder iTunes to start. I look in the folder iTunes on your old computer, and make sure that all your content is there. If this isn't the case, you need to consolidate your library using this article.

By default, iTunes will keep your library organized, but if you have moved or copied files to another location on the computer, iTunes will not see.

Look through the steps outlined in the article below. If you do not follow these steps, try again. iTunes issues can be annoying if they are not done correctly.

Note that the article below should not be used unless you are really missing files, because it can create duplicate files. It tells you the consolidation of your library that ensures all of your content to the appropriate folder.

  • Studio 1537 Roxio does not recognize DVD burner

I have a Studio 2008 1537 with an 8 x Slot Load CD/DVD burner (dual layer DVD + /-in car and it was replaced under warranty about 2 years ago, but now Roxio does not recognize as a reader.)  I want to make copies of some videos, but I can't do it.  I think I need to update the driver, but I do not know what actual brand or DVD burner model number I.  How will I know?

Roxio will be available for download on my Dell downloads. So go ahead and register, then download the installer and save it.

You might want to try the upper and lower filter thing (link below). This can solve the problem of Roxio, but not iTunes issue.

  • PC can not read audio data from any media player

computer laptop windows 7 my mother began to just expose some strange problems. She is unable to play any of his music on his pc using WMP12. the same files will also not play using iTunes, but I can cancel the iTunes issue for now because the problems are related. I was able to get the files to play on my PC in WMP12 across the network, so the files themselves are not at fault. work the system sounds in Windows, but when I say WMP to play a wav file, it errors out as well. I tried to reinstall the audio drivers, and run the troubleshooter of wmp and the resolution of the problems of audio playback, but nothing wrong was found. SFC has found no problem either. before resorting to more drastic measures (restore, reinstall, etc.). I well I ask here to see if I could get assistance.

Seems rather strange, that my first thought is to check the volume, in windows 7, you can set the volume for different applications, like Chrome. I don't see anything else I'm afraid. You hear the music when played from YouTube? If so, it may be a problem in the settings for music apps, in general. Another idea would be to try to install K-Lite, to ensure that there are no problems with codecs.

Except that I can not think what you could make, but restore to a time where you could play music.
  • can I pay the elements itunes with credit card issued to another country?

    Hello

I have a problem paying my point.

I asked my credit card Australian suspended from the Bank because someone used it without my permission.

After that, I tried to check if my credit card (Visa Debit) works or not,

so I tried to buy a song on Australian Itunes.

And I could still pay for the song. (2.19AUD)

I went to my internet banking and it shows nothing regarding the payment for the song in the history of the transactions.

Also, I checked my payment info in itunes & app stores / setting

and my card suspension could not be registered which means that the card is suspended successfully.

    (But I had a 2.19dollars song!-_ -?)

That is the problem. How can I pay AUD 2.19?

I'll get my new credit of the Australia card, maybe 3 months later.

(not possible to get a new one at the moment or unsuspended)

I have other credit cards issued in other countries,

but it is not possible to record cards in Australian app store.

    everyone knows? Help!

You can not, you can only use a card issued by an Australian bank with the Australian store (this is similar for all countries; and you have to be in a country to use his shop). You can try to use an Australian iTunes gift card

  • I cancelled iTunes on a Macbook Air, issued by the school.  All my music is stored/saved on my iMac at home.  If I delete the playlists and songs of the Macbook it will affect my master library?

I cancelled iTunes on a Macbook Air, issued by the school.  All my music is stored/saved on my iMac at home.  If I delete the playlists and songs of the Macbook it will affect my master library?

Unless you're 'home sharing', which he does not seem like you are, two libraries (macbook and iMac) are distinct, so a change does not affect the other.  Best way to test would be to remove a few songs you can download easily and see if it changes.  But I don't think it will be a problem.

  • Windows7 and Installation/upgrade issues updated Itunes: HKEY errors

I am running on a new laptop with Windows7 64 - bit OS.  I have already installed Itunes v9.0.3.15 on this computer, but when I open Itunes I got the following error:

"Warning.  ITunes has not been installed correctly.  If you want iTunes to be able to retrieve information from the internet CD, you should reinstall iTunes. »

Very well, but every time that I try to uninstall or update Itunes by installing the latest version, I get the following error at halfway through the installation process, on which the installation rolls back immediately and I'm stuck:

«Could not open key: HKEY_Local_Machine32\software\classes\.pcast.»  Check that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support team. »

I've looked everywhere.  I saw a lot of similar questions, but none exactly the same thing on other forums, and no resolution to other questions helped.

I don't have this key in my registry editor because it is a 64-bit OS, so there is no "HKEY_Local_Machine32" only "HKEY_Local_Machine."  I have ensured that I do infact have full access to the 'HKEY_Local_Machine\software\classes\.pcast' , but the installation/uninstallation process is looking for the machine32 key.  NOTE: I am trying to install the 64-bit version of Itunes.

The itunes forums have not proven useful.  If anyone has experience/solved this problem, I would certainly appreciate any suggestions.

    Hi bburkhart,

To register permission number, install and run SubInACL to your computer to fix the permission issues.

You can get the download here:

    SubInACL (SubInACL.exe)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=e8ba3e56-d8fe-4A91-93Cf-ed6985e3927b&displaylang=en

This seems to have helped others facing a similar question.

    See this for example:

iTunes 9 install on Windows 7 64 bit

    http://discussions.Apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2153424

    That should do the fix.

Before you run the SubInACL tool, please make sure that you take a backup of your registry and also create a restore point.
